Excellent video. Much needed content. There is no sense in explaining in depth about giant solar farms, when the real requirement is for the common man, who wants solar solution to power his four fans and four lights. You have clearly explained without over-simplification and exactly what is needed. In an independent house the requirement is obviously more, as there is a definite addition of water pumps, which run daily for at least 20 minutes. But even with that I think your model proves that it is totally affordable, and the people should definitly go for it, especially the people in independent houses. Great work sir, I love your channel.

With 2 or 3 KW panel it and other component adjustment , water pump also can be made to run, we need to check for low watts pump available in market , like 200 or max 350 (half HP motor) watts pump pulling 1/4 inch water in emergency or if it suits the need

Good video brother. I always wanted to switch to solar but I didn’t due to my usage is very low (less than 200 rupees per month). It didn’t make sense in terms of ROI. So I bought a normal inverter instead. But still have this plan and will implement when building a new house.

Much better idea is connecting solar to DC bulbs and fans and make conversion for AC plug points...No need to put inverter. Connect only EB current to fridge and motors only...so that you will use only Eb current only for motor and fridge. And investment is very low and long life...In case for precaution make connections to some Ac bulbs dont use it..use it only in case of emergency

I live in abroad, I use solar at home I have 6KW. I'm saving a lot. my excess current goes grid, if there is a power outage solar will automatically shutdown, because if some one work on the power line, if excess current pass through the line, the person may hit by current and may die. so for protection my solar shutdown if there is any power outage
That's good. If you are in chennai i may have your review about it.
This is not usefull when there is a powershutdown , you will go out of power, how ongrid will help where there is general power shutdown ?

That is not the reason why your solar is cut off. What you are using is a Ongrid system, What DR explained is an Offgrid system.

It is must if you are rising your structure high. My unit is small and the structure height is not high so I have not taken lightning arrester.

Off grid system la ROI vaaipey illai. Every 3 to 4 years once battery change pannanum. Yeppadi paathaalum savings vaaipey illa.

@@DiwakarRajanOnline yes. We can connect solar pannel maximum 500 watt for 12 volt system. 1 kw solar plant generate 4 to 5 units in ONgrid system if pannel is well maintained. But in the OFF grid system we can get upto 3.8 unit. Battery and inverter loss is around 800 watt. So actual yield is 3 unit. For 500 watt we get 1.5 to 2 units pee day. Our state have 300 days clear sun. So
300*2= 600 unit / year.
Lead acid battery efficient life is 1400 cycles ie. 3.5 years. Max life is 4 year.
4 * 600= 2400 units in 4 years.
Average unit cost in domestic is ₹3.5= 2400*3.5= ₹8400 - battery maintanace ₹500= ₹7900.
Battery cost of 150 Amps = 12,500.
How is it profitable?????
The above calculation is only the pannel is very cleaned condition.
The actual solar OFF grid generation cost per Unit is ₹ 15/unit.
ROI is impossible. The efficiency of OFF grid system is below 60%.
வீடுகளுக்கு off grid பயன்படுத்தும் போது efficiency 60%-65%. தான் கிடைக்கும், அதுவும் பகலில் solar watts க்கு தகுந்தபடி load எடுத்துக்கொண்டே இருக்க வேண்டும். இதில் ஒரே பயன்... பகல் முழுவதும் தொடர்ந்து supply இருந்துகொண்டே இருக்கும்.( பயன்பாடு மட்டும் தேவை என்பவர்களுக்கு ... off grid okey ).
* வியாபார நோக்கமாக கடைகள் மற்றும் சிறு தொழில்களுக்கு பயன்படுத்தும் போது off grid OK, கண்டிப்பாக லாபம் பார்க்கலாம்...

1200×3 =3600 you can save in an year.
Bro your calculation is wrong. Our maximum eb slab is 6rupees and we have subsidy for our bill upto 500units. We can reduce bill keeping our ev bill under 500unit.

Yes asha support upto 48v panels which we do series instead of parallel. You can use utl gamma plus as make it panels parallel. Which generate more amps from panels. We should be careful in handling more current.
