    FYI ,
FORM is not needed for departure Filipinos. Kaya etravel means it's ONLINE , electronic .
Once nakapag log in na sa etravel and nagsubmit na online, ok na. Naka-incorporate na sa BI system ang etravel.

Hi! Were you charged 0.60 sgd everyday by your credit card provider? I read that there is an admin fee charged for everyday a credit card is used in singapore. If not then could you let me know how much of a premium was charged for using the credit card as opposed to going with cash? Thanks!

    • @WhatThe_Paul
      @WhatThe_Paul  14 днів тому

Hello po! Yes, there will be charges on top po. Please note of what is stipulated sa kanilang website :
Q: Will foreign-issued contactless credit and debit cards be accepted for use on public transport in Singapore? Are there any extra charges to use these cards?
A: Foreign-issued contactless credit and debit cards are accepted for payment on our public transport network. An administrative fee of up to $0.50 will be applicable per posting. Additionally, foreign cardholders may be subjected to other fees imposed by their issuing banks.
      Hope this helps! :)

Paano din Po ba Yung mga plant visit sa Singapore...then Sponsored Yung travel from the supplier?

    • @WhatThe_Paul
      @WhatThe_Paul  Місяць тому

      ### **1. Invitation Letter from the Supplier**
      ### **3. Proof of Sponsor’s Financial Capability**
      - Flight and hotel bookings (kung pre-paid).
      ### **4. Detailed Itinerary**
      ### **5. Supporting Documents for Travel**
      - Valid passport (at least 6 months validity).
      - Roundtrip flight ticket.
      - Hotel booking confirmation (kung kasama sa sponsorship).
      - Travel insurance (optional pero mas mabuting mayroon).
      ### **6. Employment Documents (kung applicable)**
      - Certificate of Employment.
      - Company ID.
      ### **7. Additional Documents**
      - If applicable, Work Permit Exemption: Hindi mo ito karaniwang kailangan para sa plant visits dahil maikli lang ang pagbisita, pero siguruhin mo ito sa Ministry of Manpower (MOM) website sa Singapore.
      ### **Tips for Immigration:**

As of January 31, 2025, travelers entering Singapore are still required to submit the SG Arrival Card (SGAC) electronically. This submission should be completed within three days prior to your arrival in Singapore. This is accessible naman po sa kanilang immigration website 😇
You can submit the SGAC through the following official channels:
SGAC e-Service: Accessible online via the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website.
MyICA Mobile Application: Available for free on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). This app offers a profile-saving function, allowing for quicker submissions on future trips.

Hi po! Here’s a guide for your situation as a Filipino planning to travel to Singapore with your child and sister-in-law:
Key Considerations for Entry to Singapore
Singapore is generally welcoming to tourists, but immigration officers might ask for proof that you can financially support your stay. Since you don’t have a job and rely on your live-in partner, providing strong supporting documents is essential.
      What You Need to Prepare
      1. **Passport Validity**
      - Ensure all your passports are valid for at least **6 months** beyond your intended stay in Singapore.
      2. **Proof of Financial Support**
      - Since your live-in partner is funding the trip, provide the following:
      - **Bank Statement**: A 3-6 month history showing sufficient funds to cover your travel expenses (your account or your partner’s account if they’re supporting you).
      - **Affidavit of Support and Guarantee (AOS)**: If possible, your live-in partner can execute an AOS to confirm they are covering all expenses. Notarizing this document adds credibility.
      3. **Round-Trip Ticket**
      - Show confirmed bookings for both arrival and departure flights. Immigration officers often check this to ensure you plan to return to the Philippines.
      4. **Accommodation Details**
      - Hotel booking confirmations or a letter from your host in Singapore (if staying with friends/family).
      5. **Travel Itinerary**
      - A clear daily itinerary of your planned activities in Singapore to show the purpose of your visit.
      6. **Additional Supporting Documents**
      - Birth certificate of your child to prove relationship.
      - Any document showing your sister-in-law is related to you or your partner (optional but helpful).
      7. **Sister-in-Law’s Financial Proof**
      - Even if you’re paying for her, it’s helpful if she can also present her own bank statement or supporting documents.
      ---
      ### **Tips for Immigration in Singapore**
      1. **Be Honest and Confident**
      - When asked about the trip, explain that it’s for tourism and that your partner is funding it. Avoid overexplaining or showing nervousness.
      2. **Stay Within Allowed Visit Period**
      - Tourists are typically allowed to stay up to **30 days**. Ensure your plans fit within this timeline.
      3. **Prepare to Show Supporting Documents**
      - While immigration might not always ask for these, having them ready increases your chances of smooth entry.
      ---
      ### **Things to Keep in Mind**
      - Traveling without a job is not necessarily a red flag as long as you can prove financial stability.
      - Immigration decisions can vary case by case, so being prepared with documents reduces risks.
Disclaimer : While we share our travel advice, opinions, and recommendations based on personal experiences and insights, these may vary from your own trip due to individual factors like travel background, physical capabilities, and more. • @WhatThe_Paul
      @WhatThe_Paul  Місяць тому

Hi po! Yes, your setup should be fine as long as you prepare all the necessary documents to support your application for entry to Singapore. Since your mom works as a teacher there and will be sponsoring your expenses, here's what you need to do:
      1. **Invitation Letter**: Make sure your mom's invitation letter clearly states that she is inviting you to Singapore, her address, her job details, and that she will cover all your expenses. The letter should also specify the purpose of your visit.
      2. **Proof of Employment**: Your mom should provide proof of her employment in Singapore, such as a certificate of employment, work pass, or letter from her employer.
      3. **Financial Proof**: Even if your mom is sponsoring you, it's good to include documents that demonstrate her ability to support you financially. Examples include bank statements or her payslips for the last few months.
      4. **Your Documents**:
      - A valid passport with at least six months validity.
      - A completed Singapore visa application form, if you require a visa.
      - Your student ID or proof of enrollment at your school, which can show that you’re a legitimate student.
      5. **Additional Information**:
      - Your travel itinerary and return ticket to show that you plan to leave Singapore after your visit.
      - Accommodation details, whether you're staying with your mom or elsewhere.
      6. **Visa Application (if needed)**: If you’re from the Philippines and traveling to Singapore for a short visit (up to 30 days), you typically don’t need a visa. However, check Singapore’s Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website for updated requirements.
As long as you provide all these documents and demonstrate that you have a clear purpose for visiting and the financial support to sustain your stay, your application should go smoothly.
Disclaimer : While we share our travel advice, opinions, and recommendations based on personal experiences and insights, these may vary from your own trip due to individual factors like travel background, physical capabilities, and more. Hi po! thanks for watching our vlog! Since you’re planning to visit Singapore and you don’t have a Certificate of Employment (COE) because you're currently unemployed, that shouldn’t be a major issue as long as you can demonstrate that you have sufficient funds for your trip. You mentioned that you have income from side hustles and savings, which is a positive point.
Your father, who is a former OFW and now employed, will be sponsoring your trip. It’s important to prepare the necessary documents, such as:
      - A notarized affidavit of support and guarantee from your father.
      - Proof of your father’s employment or financial capacity (such as payslips, bank statements, or employment certificate).
      - Your bank statements to show your savings and financial stability.
      - Other supporting documents like your father’s itinerary and hotel bookings.
These documents will help reassure immigration officials that you have the means to support yourself during your stay and that you’ll return to the Philippines after your visit.
Make sure everything is complete and well-organized to avoid any issues. Safe travels and enjoy your trip to Singapore! 🤍

Good day! Thanks for watching our vlog!
Since you mentioned that you don’t have a travel history but your partner does, there are still ways to strengthen your application for traveling to Singapore. Here's what you can prepare:
Proof of Financial Capacity: Since you no longer have a current job, showing that you have sufficient funds for the trip is essential. You can provide:
Bank statements (at least 3 to 6 months).
Proof of income from any side hustles, savings, or investments you may have.
Affidavit of Support (if applicable): If your partner will be sponsoring your trip, they can submit an affidavit of support along with their financial documents (like payslips, bank statements, or tax returns) to show they can cover your expenses during the trip.
Return Ticket and Hotel Reservations: Show proof of round-trip flight bookings and hotel reservations to demonstrate your travel plans and intention to return to the Philippines.
Cover Letter: You might consider writing a cover letter explaining your trip and why you’re traveling to Singapore. Mention any planned activities, and if possible, reference your partner's travel history, which might reassure immigration officials that you have a responsible travel plan.
Other Supporting Documents: If you have any supporting documents like previous employment records, certificates, or other ties to the Philippines (e.g., family, property), you can include them as well.
Just make sure all your documents are clear and properly organized to avoid any confusion at immigration.
Good luck with your travel plans, and safe travels! 😊

    • @WhatThe_Paul
      @WhatThe_Paul  Місяць тому +1

Hello po! As a Filipino traveling to Singapore for the first time with, 11-year-old child, here are the **documents and tips** you should prepare to present to the Philippine Immigration Officer (IO):
      ---
      ### **Basic Travel Documents**
      1. **Valid Passports**
      - Ensure both your and your child’s passports are valid for at least **6 months** beyond your travel dates.
      2. **Round-Trip Tickets**
      - Print your confirmed round-trip airline tickets to show your travel itinerary and return date.
      3. **Accommodation Details**
      - Provide proof of where you will stay in Singapore, such as:
      - Hotel booking confirmation.
      - If staying with a friend or relative, include their address, invitation letter (if possible), and a copy of their ID or residency permit.
      4. **Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC)**
      - Complete the SGAC online before your flight. This is required by Singapore for immigration clearance.
      ---
      ### **Financial Proof**
Since you're a housewife receiving remittances from your husband:
      1. **Affidavit of Support and Guarantee (if possible)**
      - Your husband may execute an **Affidavit of Support** to demonstrate he is financially supporting your trip.
      2. **Proof of Remittance**
      - Show remittance receipts or bank statements indicating regular financial support.
      3. **Cash or Cards**
      - Carry sufficient cash or credit cards to prove you can cover expenses during your trip.
      ---
      ### **Parental Documents**
      1. **Child’s Birth Certificate**
      - Bring a PSA-certified birth certificate to prove your relationship with your child.
      2. **Parental Consent (if applicable)**
      - If your husband is not traveling with you, Immigration may ask for a **DFA-authenticated parental consent** signed by him, permitting you to travel with your child.
      ---
      ### **Purpose of Travel**
      1. **Travel Itinerary**
      - Prepare a detailed itinerary (e.g., Universal Studios visit, Gardens by the Bay) to show your trip is purely for tourism.
      2. **Other Supporting Documents**
      - If applicable, show proof of your child’s enrollment (e.g., school ID, enrollment form) to assure you will return after the trip.
      ---
      ### **Tips for IO Interview**
      1. Be calm, polite, and honest. Answer questions confidently, such as:
      - **Purpose of travel**: Tourism, family bonding, or vacation.
      - **Source of funds**: Explain that your husband sends remittances to support your expenses.
      2. Prepare answers for questions like:
      - Why are you traveling?
      - How will you fund the trip?
      - What does your husband do, and where is he based?
      ---
      ### **Important Reminder**
The IO assesses travelers to prevent trafficking and illegal migration. Having complete documents and clear answers will minimize delays or additional questioning.
Would you like help drafting your Affidavit of Support or other travel-related forms?

I'm travelling po February 2025, need pa rin po ba mag show ng accomodation kahit 1 day lang po ako for ASEAN Career Fair(4th year studs/fresh grads)? May letter of invitation po ako tas mag po provide sila ng travel scholarship, ano po reasons if may possibility ma offload?

    • @WhatThe_Paul
      @WhatThe_Paul  Місяць тому

Hi po!! If you’re traveling to Singapore in February 2025 for the ASEAN Career Fair as a 4th-year student or fresh graduate, here’s what you need to prepare and consider to avoid potential offloading:
      ---
      ### **1. Accommodation Requirement**
Yes, even for a one-day trip, it’s advisable to show proof of accommodation (e.g., hotel booking or a confirmation of where you will stay). Immigration officers may ask for this to ensure you have proper arrangements, even if your trip is brief. If your sponsor or the event organizers are covering this, you can provide a document or email confirming the arrangement.
      ---
      ### **2. Supporting Documents to Bring**
Since you mentioned having a **Letter of Invitation** and a travel scholarship, these are critical to proving the legitimacy of your trip. Ensure you also have the following:
      - **Letter of Invitation:** From the ASEAN Career Fair organizers, specifying your participation and the scholarship provided.
      - **Flight Tickets:** Roundtrip tickets showing your return to the Philippines within a reasonable timeframe.
      - **Proof of Travel Sponsorship:** A document or letter stating that the organizers will cover your travel expenses, including accommodation if applicable.
      - **School ID and Enrollment Certificate (if applicable):** To show your status as a student or recent graduate.
      - **Detailed Itinerary:** Mentioning your purpose, event date, and schedule.
      - **Travel Insurance (Optional):** While not always required, it can strengthen your case.
      ---
      ### **3. Reasons You Might Be Offloaded**
Immigration officers in the Philippines are tasked with ensuring that travelers have legitimate purposes for leaving and that they are not vulnerable to illegal recruitment or human trafficking. Common reasons for being offloaded include:
      - **Insufficient Supporting Documents:** Not providing evidence for your trip purpose (e.g., invitation letter, sponsor details).
      - **No Proof of Accommodation or Return Ticket:** Immigration may doubt your intent to return to the Philippines.
      - **Inconsistent Answers:** If your answers about your trip’s purpose or sponsorship are unclear or inconsistent.
      - **Lack of Financial Proof:** Although your trip is sponsored, having a small amount of personal funds (e.g., for emergencies) can help show preparedness.
      - **Red Flags in Travel History:** If it’s your first international trip and you lack experience or strong ties to the Philippines (e.g., school or work commitments).
      ---
      ### **Tips to Avoid Offloading**
      1. **Prepare All Required Documents:** Have printed and digital copies ready.
      2. **Be Honest and Confident:** Answer immigration questions clearly about your event and sponsorship.
      3. **Highlight Your Return Plans:** Explain that you are a student or fresh graduate, emphasizing your ties to the Philippines (e.g., ongoing studies, family, or job opportunities).
      ---
With proper documentation and clear answers, the likelihood of being offloaded is significantly reduced. Have a great trip and good luck at the ASEAN Career Fair!

Hello po. Ask ko lang po how about if my parents don't have work since retired na but I want to treat them ng international travel and booked na rin ang return flight ticket and accommodation, would it still be required na magpakita ang parents ko ng proof of financial capacity to travel sa immigration officer?

    • @WhatThe_Paul
      @WhatThe_Paul  Місяць тому +1

Hello po! If you're a *Philippine passport holder* traveling to *Singapore* and planning to bring your retired parents along for the trip, it’s important to understand the immigration requirements, especially regarding *proof of financial capacity*.
      Here's how it works:
      1. *Who is Responsible for Proof of Financial Capacity?*
Since your parents are *retired* and no longer working, they may not have a regular source of income to show as *proof of financial capacity*. However, since you mentioned that you will be *treating them to an international trip* and you’ve already booked their *return flight ticket* and *accommodation*, *you* (as the person funding the trip) are generally the one who needs to provide proof of financial capacity to show that your parents can afford the trip.
      2. *Proof of Financial Capacity - What’s Needed?*
As the sponsor or person funding the trip, you would need to demonstrate that you have enough funds to support your parents' travel. Here are some documents you can provide to the *Philippine Immigration Officer* to show proof of financial capacity:
      - *Bank Certificate or Bank Statement* (showing sufficient funds to cover the trip for you and your parents)
      - *Payslips or Income Tax Return (ITR)* (if applicable) showing your financial capacity to sponsor the trip
      - *Credit card statements* (if applicable, showing that you can pay for the expenses)
      - *Letter of Guarantee* (if you have one, stating that you will be financially supporting their trip)
      3. *What Immigration Officers Look For:*
The *Philippine Immigration* typically looks for evidence that the *traveler* (or in this case, your parents) has the means to support themselves during the trip, or that they have a sponsor (you). Since you are sponsoring their travel, the officer will want to confirm that the trip is financially supported.
      *For Your Retired Parents:*
      - Since your parents are retired, they may not have current *employment* documents. However, you can explain to the immigration officer that you are sponsoring the trip and provide supporting documents like your *bank statements* and your *sponsorship letter*.
      - You may also want to include copies of their *retirement papers or pension documents*, as it may help explain their situation.
      4. *Other Travel Requirements for Your Parents:*
Aside from the proof of financial capacity, your parents may also need to meet other requirements for their trip to *Singapore*:
      - *Valid Passport*: Ensure that their passports are valid for at least *6 months* from the date of entry to Singapore.
      - *Tourist Visa*: Depending on the nationality and the current visa policies, they may or may not need a visa to enter Singapore. *Philippine passport holders* usually do not need a visa for short stays in Singapore (up to 30 days), but this can vary depending on the immigration policies at the time.
      - *Return Flight Ticket*: You mentioned that the return flight is already booked, which is a good requirement to show that they plan to leave Singapore.
      - *Accommodation Booking*: The *hotel reservation* is also helpful to show their travel plans are organized.
      5. *Summary*:
To answer your question directly: *Yes*, it would still be required to show *proof of financial capacity* for your parents, but since you are sponsoring the trip, you can provide *your own financial documents* (like bank statements, ITR, etc.) to demonstrate that you can afford their travel expenses. The key is to show that your parents will not be financially burdened during the trip and that their travel is fully supported.
Make sure to also have *supporting documents* like *retirement papers* or *pension proof* to explain their financial situation.
      ---
      Additional Tip:
If you’re still unsure or want to make sure everything is in order, you can always check with the *Philippine Immigration* or consult the *Singapore Embassy* for the most up-to-date travel requirements before you go to the airport. They may provide more specific guidance based on your parents' situation.
Safe travels po, and enjoy your trip to Singapore with your parents!

Hi po! Same po ng normal traveler - Passport, Hotel Accommodations, Return Ticket. It depends po if the senior citizen is working pa, hence she will need the proof of income or any connection in the PH that will make her return like business , property, family members na inaalagaan etc...In summary, mas ok po na dala nya ang mga documents and she is well aware of the potential questions ng mga IOs.

Hi po! For your GF na pupunta ng Singapore, she should have proof of your relationship, guarantor letter from you stating you will finance/support her travel, and your proof of income. These documents maybe asked from her by the PH IOs before exiting PH (on top of the basic documents like passport, return ticket, accommodation, itinerary). Hope this helps :)

Proof of funds like bank certificate...i understand po na wala kayong bank account but this is one way to prove na meron po kayong kakayanin/capacity. Other documents that may help you is mga property documents showing ownership. Hope this helps :)

      @WhatThe_Paul  23 дні тому

Hello po! Hi! Yes, it’s perfectly fine to present your Certificate of Employment (COE) and ID from the country where you are currently working. These documents help establish your employment status and your intention to return to your job after your vacation in Singapore.
For your 5-day vacation, while it’s not always mandatory to present a detailed itinerary, it can be helpful to prepare one. This can include:
Your planned activities and places you intend to visit.
Hotel bookings or the address where you'll be staying.
      Return flight details.
Having an itinerary shows that you have a clear plan for your stay, which can be reassuring for immigration officials. It also helps demonstrate that your visit is genuinely for tourism.
Enjoy your trip to Singapore, and have a great vacation! 😊

    • @WhatThe_Paul
      @WhatThe_Paul  18 днів тому

      @WhatThe_Paul  20 днів тому

Hello po! For attending a convention in Singapore related to a side hustle business, it is advisable to provide a Certificate of Employment (COE) from your primary employer. The COE can serve as proof of your employment in the Philippines, indicating your ties to your home country and that you intend to return after the convention. This document can support your visa entry (if interviewed), or provide assurance to immigration officers in Singapore during your travel. Additionally, you may also prepare other supporting documents like an invitation letter from the convention organizers, proof of registration for the event, and proof of financial capacity. Hope this helps po :)
