Imagine being a parent thinking your kid is going counter culture by reading a book from school. They do realize the internet is out there right? This isn't 1992.

Of course you are. Do you even know what books they're talking about? What it is that they consider "sexually explicit"? The Bible has sexually explicit content, so I hope that there aren't any of those in the school libraries. The problem is that the information given here is much too vague to allow anyone to form a valid opinion.
@mattbosley3531 not even close. The Bible is a reliable collection of historical documents written by eye witnesses during the lifetimes of other eye witnesses. IT is the truth about our reality. The KJV is God's preserved word in English. Best stop sleeping on it.
