I'm glad someone else picked up on the rapid fire HBG. Either HBGs simply can have rapid fire now, or - and this is wishful thinking - they're reintroducing the parts swapping feature from MHTri.

I am going to play the shit outta this game. But honestly I don’t think the trailer was that good. It may seem like a dumb nitpick, but the hit effects when you hit a monster are horrible. It looks like you’re hitting the monster with a pool noodle. Damage numbers will probably help with the feeing of impact, but the way it looks now is pretty bad in my opinion.
