Theory: Survivors are able to repair generators with no mechanical engineering knowledge because the entity itself doesn't know how a generator works but only knows the outcome of repairing one so the generators are simply manifested as objects where you have to connect wires and pull random levers to make them start. This would also explain why its so easy to break them by kicking them.
I think they know to repair them because they have been in the fog an Unknown amount of time, so, they could have taken months, years maybe to know how to repair one.
I always suspected that Dwight was teaching em all. And I felt like before I knew better that Dwight's job that he hated so much was generator repair and I only thought this because it would be an interesting way to punish him for eternity by making him do the job he hated for survival. But his job isn't generator repair its something else right?
Entity: Eh, uhm, how tf do you work? I guess you just stick your hands in and twist random things and make these wires....touch? This is weird and complicated...NO NO NO, don't break more! Awe....uhm... fuck it, I'll just magically make it function!
@*POW* your dead But that does not happen only when they are sacrificed? I mean in Benedict Baker's diaries he mentions that he's already been on a hook so at some point he must have escaped a trial and know he's in an infinite loop
0:47 If you look at it with the Description of the Perk “Beast of Prey” for the Huntress this actually makes a lot of sense Beast of Prey: “Your lust for a kill is so intense that your connection with The Entity is momentarily lost, making you totally unpredictable.” And this just so happens to give you the UNDETECTABLE STATUS EFFECT
This would also mean that GF makes himself undetectable by taking over his own body in order to do what he does best for a period of time but keeps on the entity's game just cuz he likes to, which is implied in his lore
@@AZHYMOVS but if the undetected theory is true what about Ghostface? Isn't his main ability to go undetected and in the lore he is very loyal to the entity. I'm just pointing it out there
The "You are the entity" theory kinda makes sense. You spectate the killer/ survior from their POV throughout their trial, even though you play as them. And you are the reason they can get stronger with items, addons and perks, which the entity might give them. Just a weird idea to add to the theory.
But wouldn't that mean that we are a part of the entity? Because other players would also be the entity and that would mean that the entity might be the most intelligent and complex creature you can possibly imagine.
i will also addon that alot of the killers are here because the people wanted them people wants a demon we got oni people wanted killers and soom enough we get a similar killer and even licensed killers but maybe that's a stretch
one of the only things that are a bit of an obstacle to this one is that the entity races against you in the bloodweb. It begins to consume items once you have a character leveled up enough.
Also with the entity looking through the killers eyes that gives in the red light also seems to go with the effects of monitor and abuse. When you endet a chase, the red light gets smaller just as your vision is narrow and it gets bigger as you leave the chase. This theory can also prove that Meyers is really powerful in the realm as he can just be like “yeah no” and have his terror radius but exist with the scratched mirror.
I've always noticed the killers looking around or behind them. I think it usually shows a form of obeiance. If you'll notice, a lot of the killers that most likely don't want to be there look behind them, as if listening or checking over their shoulder, like deathslinger. They quickly turn back, either instructed to or doing so not wanting to draw attention. Others like trapper look around, almost like they don't want to look at the survivors. Bubba will look behind him then jerk his head back toward the survivors, as if fearful for looking in the Entities direction. Most of the others, like clown, that like being there, will not look behind them and often stare right at the survivors.
Love the theory, but one issue. Ghostface looks back really slowly and looks back. He's super close to the entity, so he wouldn't necessarily be afraid of it. Just want to hear your thoughts on it
The player is the Entity does make a lot of sense. Think about it, through killers we see in first person, as if looking from behind their eyes (even when some killers don’t have eyes), which explains the red stain. But for survivors we see in 3rd person… as if we are someone looking over their shoulder, spectating them. We know the entity has direct communication and interaction with killers, but survivors resist the entity and it rarely has control over them. So that could explain the differences in POV. We can also spectate trials we escape from or are sacrificed in as survivor. It makes weird logical sense. There’s also what you pointed out of Trickster turning back and winking at the player, Sadako not only showing her power (like pinhead) but also jump-scaring us too (maybe she’s angry at the entity) and Plague speaking her prayers in the menu as she believes the entity is her god.
Theory: legendary skins aren't actually the characters they embody but instead the entity trying to extract even more emotion out of a character by having their friend "appear" like Jonathan than for steve and nancy and Chris/Claire for Jill and leon
But why lisa and james and cybil? no one really knows them but those from their respective games (i guess lisa doesn't count because of elyssa/cheryl (fuck silent hill is complicated)).
Despite being the character that introduced boons to the game, I feel CoH and SS don't make sense on Mikaela. As far as we know, she didn't find blessing therapeutic nor did she have a skeleton in the closet. It's like the devs were like, "PB&J works so boon + witch character." Now I want a sandwich.
I could be that Mikaela always had those abilities, she just had no reason to use or even be aware of them until she entered the Realm. Alternatively, The Entity could just be twisting the power she has into something that couldn't be used against The Entity. After all, The Entity does mess with all the powers of the killers. By all rights characters like Pinhead, Pyramid Head and Freddy would be able to shred and destroy just about anything, but because of The Entity's interference, that doesn't happen.
i think theyre very apt for her she used her magic and blessings to hide from the entity before she was taken she also used blessings to try to recover or "heal" after the entity attacks. it also says that she used her magic to heal and help herself and her friends.
I think hiding scratch marks in perks is usually connected to a character having some sort of mystical power prior to being taken, Elodie dealt with occult artifacts and Deception removes scratch marks, Kate saw the entity and escaped it previously if you read her archive lore, and Dance with Me hides scratch marks. Mikaela literally described Wraith in her stories without ever knowing him. And Mikaela found comfort in horror stories after the passing of her father, you could argue interacting with magical bones could be therapeutic for her
@@tiernangraham2617 yeah her lore says that she use to bless her coffee beans prior to giving them to her customers and would basically give blessings here and there so it isn’t out of the norm for her to bless things but the Entity definitely made her powers weaker because if she had blessing down she could easily bless and heal a fallen survivor which would ruin the fun for the Entity
My theory: DBDleaks confirmed that FNAF won’t come to DBD. This is suspicious since DBDleaks never deconfirmed a license before. Plus DBD Mobile tweeted a bunch of newspaper and lastly, it was on April 1st, so what does this mean… Breaking Bad will come to DBD. Think about it, the first newspaper teaser showed the map that came with Clown. Clown created chemicals, just like Walter White. Plus Breaking Bad has been a huge horror franchises and it’s prequel Better Call Saul will end this year. I’m 99% sure that the next killer is Walter White and the next survivor is Jesse.
his power is to cook at an interactable table that spawns when he is played and gain a special resource, money, the more he does. he can then spend the money to slowly transform from walter white into heisenberg. Getting a jacket, sunglasses, then the hat. Once he completes the change his power becomes the ability to shoot survivors and instantly down them. If he performs a special interaction on a breakable wall, knocking on it, he can then instantly break the wall by shooting and if he hits a survivor with this shot it becomes a mori rather than instadown. he would have no m1 attack, and without the gun actually have no way to damage survivors. HE NEEDS TO COOK.
Theory: The Twins only have one soul. The entity knew how to bend Charlotte's emotions to its will using the only thing she cared about, her brother. It had the energy to briefly bring Victor to life just long enough for him to scurry a few feet, before sending a cultists to drag the corpse the rest of the way. It knew that Charlotte will do anything to protect her brother if she thought he was alive. Now that they're in the realm, only one of them is concious at a time, with the soul literally leaving their bodies (thus the whooshing sound) to pass between them. The entity simply keeps the bodies alive. The only time they can both be fully conscious is when they are attached. With the soul of a large, brawny adult controlling such a tiny body, Victor is imbued with superhuman physical abilities. When that soul is transferred back, it needs a few seconds to fully become melded to that adult form again, causing the wake up time. Then, the most obvious part, only controlling one, while the other remains dormant
A fine theory. But there’s a hole in it. When you Mori someone and you have Victor, they’re both active and engaging with one another at the same time.
Nice! My theory got in! 4:36 Also, the other part of my theory was how when the endgame starts that weird looking stuff on the ground could also be auric cells, the reason why the realm is breaking down probably because the entity reuses the realm to create another trial.
I like most of the theory’s, imagine if we could know and maybe even play as these forgotten survivor Would love to know how would be the power of the killer that had NOED
I’m thinking some master mind type the sort of killer who sits back and watches them play into their hand and right when they think they’ve won the killer shows them that all their work has helped the killer win or a punisher type who never lets someone go unpunished
@@empiyrr2133 for what i read in the description i think more in a killer fully commited in killing who dont even blink when he need to offense the entity to kill the survivors, powerful enough to resist the entity in middle of the match and get victorious of every time he go to hunt
To add on to the theory at 8:31 we have seen Talbot transform into The Blight three times. The first time in The Hunger, the second time in Decened Beyond's intro, and the third in Doors Unknown. Furthermore, in Doors Unknown, Talbot gets surrounded by pillars, all of which appear to have his face in different outfits, and he transforms into the True Blight and not his base outfit in that story. Also in The Hunger, he is never called The Blight, but rather The Alchemist, as if this is a different character This seems to imply that there are multiple Blights, rather than The Blight having undergone multiple transformations.
for the description we can see that the killer from NOED was strong enough to be punished in middle of the match for the entity, and being able to just get strong from is own emotions. but for what i think is may be a killer with a really good personality(for me that what i feel) and really commited to is job even is that killer may like to just dont follow what the entity say
Theory: The Entity wants to corrupt Claudete The thing is that I belive that if the Entity would corrupt a survivor into a killer would be none other than Claudette. I think that the Entity knows about her knowledge in botany and how it could be turned into the Entity's favour. Maybe it could manipulate her and bring her life into a pit inside the realm, making her more alone and making Claudette feel less empathy for the other survivors, maybe feeling betrayed for them at some point. Now, why would the Entity want that? because she could experiment and study the blighted flowers in a similar way like Blight did, but without the obsessing with them and wanting to use them in an interesting way against survivors. Maybe Claudette could find a way to use those plants in a way to hurt the Entity, so that's why the Entity wants to corrupt her to use those plants against survivor and MAYBE find a cure or something similar for the Entity so it no longer reacts negatively to them. Maybe The Entity tricks Claudette to do that and it would free her from the trials, but it would be all a lie and maybe she could become a killer that uses florers as way to hurt survivors (like Poison Ivy, from Batman) So yeah, that's my theory
Theory: Every Killer sees their obsession as their actual obsession Like; The Shape seeing all obsessions as Laurie, and Spirit seeing all obsessions as her father (in which could even make sense when she gets DS’s, seeing the survivor as her father for hurting her)
Random Theories: -The Deathslinger is Jeff’s ancestor -Danny(Ghostface) and The Legion know each other -The Entity keeps references of Naughty Bear to reminisce about it’s prior work
Mostly likely Danny wouldn’t know the teens. The teens are in Canada and he’s in America. Going from Utah all the way to Florida killing people. So pretty far from Canada. It’s possible though, they look up to the ghostface legend. Especially Frank. Plus Danny is a narcissist who would give less of a crap about some random kids doing petty crimes.
I’d like to present a theory about the entity myself. I’ll try to make it brief. So my theory is, if any character was the entity, it would be Jake. He’s reclusive and doesn’t show signs of pain, as his perks Calm Spirit and Iron Will show. With CS he also cannot disturb the crows, as they aren’t bothered by him, used to him almost. Finally Saboteur, grants the ability to break a hook, the killer’s only means of killing (in most cases) with his bare hands. A good sabo play changes the tide of a trial, almost giving him manipulation over it in a way others can’t. Jake is the only survivor shown in different stages of his life, as a young man, middle aged, and old. His tome lore suggests he may have some kind of schizophrenia, as he has hallucinations and hears voices. It’s also suggested he has dyslexia, which could be an explanation for the Entity’s written language. Jake completely abandoned his family and humanity for the forest, showing disinterest for most humans in general. That’s all I have for one comment because I could write a whole essay on it, but yeah. That’s my theory
I think Blight and Doctor would hit it off due to their high intelligence and connection to medicine. While it's unknown if the Demogorgon can connect with other killers I think Blight would be interested in it being an experimental man of science. How could two country boys like bubba and hillbilly NOT hit it off?
Okay, it would sound weird, but... I've been playing (maining) and kinda simping Caleb (the Deathslinger) for more than two years now, exploring his character, his lore, every little detail in his existence, and damn... I got to a conclusion, that he'd do a fair friendship with Kenneth (the Clown). Even though he would take Kenneth like a psycho of some kind, but them both love to dark-joke, love to drink and smoke around... so yeah :) More like a drink-buddies~
I know I'm late to the party, but I always thought the Entity was a twist on Yggrasil or the World Tree, being an Entity with limbs in all wordls or "realms" across the multiverse. The thing that made me think of this was how you can sometimes hear the Entity groaning or whispering when around certain trees.
Okay, so... I played DbD today and if it comes to the perks that were previously Nancy's or Steve's, nothing changed in my game. I don't know if it's a bug, the game hasn't updated itself yet or whether these perks stay the same for those who bought Stranger Things chapter earlier. But well, it's good to know that they're changed though. The theory about the universal perks is even logical.
I’m surprised you didnt mention how there could be different entities. Mostly because of the realm in dbd mobile is different than the one on pc and console
@@christiancastro7516 Some of the killers, survivors, and maps are missing and also the mobile port also has custom trials which the pc and console versions lack. Meaning you can play with bots instead of actual players. This would mean that the entity in the mobile port made the custom trials for the purpose of training killers and survivors before their actual trial begins.
8:40 Dwight is a God and he has many jobs because he is trying to find a way to defeat the entity, that's why he has so many different skins, he travels across time and space to seek information
I thought Carmina was implied to be the daughter of The Entity. (Like we all think Nea is) Though, a funnier thought crossed when you talked of the sincerity of her backstory - what if she's a crow? And all these memories are twists on her crow memories to evoke more emotions ; or, being a native to the realm, implanted outright?
My theory: The entity powers up both survivors and killers which explains the terror radius, red stain, why the killers are so big and how survivors are more resilient and stronger than most people. Also if the survivors escaped the realm would they even be able to live since they would’ve been revived by the entity after a trial after dying at some point. Another point if undetectable is the killer losing their connection to the entity does that mean The Pig simply crouching down severs their connection with the entity
something i thought about with the undetectable status is the killers who have undetectable in their base kit. it actually can fit the idea of it being linked to the entity. the entity gets the killers to do one thing, find and kill survivors asap. but all killers with built in undetectable have their own motives for delaying a kill, or outright trying not to kill. myers and ghostface: they love to draw out the kill by stalking. the entity may be pushing them to ignore stalking and just kill, so they disconnect from it in order to do their thing. pig: she loves using traps instead of directly killing, giving survivors a chance to live. so while sneaking up to apply a trap she disconnects from the entity saying ignore traps, just stab them freddy: loves to generate fear in peoples dreams before killing them, also in their dreams. so he blatantly ignores the entity in order to make people fall asleep before attacking. sadako: she wants people to watch her tape and die to her curse. the entity may have empowered her to attack and kill without her curse but she still disconnects from the entity and clings to her tapes. and lastly, wraith: he literally doesnt want to kill. he wants to hide from the bad guys and only kills when he has no choice. ringing his fathers bell makes him feel safe and hidden, breaking away from the entitys ever present urge to kill. let me know if i missed any stealth killers. edit: right, spirit. she was never a killer, just a young girl who was murdered. shes now trapped as a ghost bound by rage and vengeance thanks to the violence inherent in her bloodline. she most likely has a small part of humanity trying to escape her purgatory and move on, resulting in phasing partially out of the realm.
Adding on to the theory that The Artist is the Entity is that Jonah was trying to find a way to the Entity's realm or wanted to find out more about the Entity's realm, similar to Blight. His perks suggest having to know a lot about the realm, knowing exactly how much energy to use to get away from the killer, what sort of blessing is needed to recover faster and get up from the dying state, and a perk that literally fixes someone else's mistake on a generator specifically, the key to the survivors escape. The beginning cutscene of Jonah over his desk is his work area and him figuring out more of the Entity's realm, and why he was taken the same time The Artist was added to the game, to protect the identity of the realm from getting out. Plus, the Eire of crows map is the Entity's main home, suggesting why ink is coming up from the ground, the large number of crows there, and why the main area looks weird and much different than any other map. Add on: The Entity is claimed to be female, and Artist is female. So, there's that too
8:30 this has actually confirmed in the tomes; haddie kaur, a paranormal / occult investigator working on exposing the black vale referenced throughout a few tomes, has different versions of herself on other terra worlds that are renamed to hannah and haley - still the same person just a different name
Theory: The entirety of dbd, including the entity, can be pieced together from the things we know about Talbot Grimes and the blighted flower. The Blight is confirmed to have a higher standing among the killers, as he is the only killer in dead by daylight who can willingly pass in and out of the void created by the entity. Also, considering how the blighted flower has such adverse effects on everything it touches, including the entity, maybe the entire concept of the entity is actually supposed to be Talbot's serum addiction manifested into physical form? Addictions twist and warp as they are fed with drugs, like the Blight and his extreme serum addiction, and eventually die out if they are left unfed, like how the entity would die out if it wasn't fed with the survivors' emotions. This is why survivors that are of no use to the entity are cast into the void. Without emotions to feed from, the entity discards people that it no longer needs, similar to a crack addict with their parents when they steal their wallet. The entity being Talbot's addiction is also supported by the fact that the entity is considered "evil in its purest form" by Benedict Baker, which is debatably the exact same thing as a drug addiction depending on your views. And if that is true, then it would also explain its cosmic and ancient origins: it is a concept manifested into physical form. Just a theory though.
I enjoyed the theory where only frank and Julie from the legion was taken. This isn’t my theory so I don’t know what the reasons were however I believe one was that in the backstory of the legion it never specifically said that Susie and Joey were taken and the reason that Joey and Frank as Julie and Susie have the same voice because they were taken for the memories of Frank and Julie but they slowly forgot their voices as they were in the realm. That person also talked about the blighted skin for the legion also and how they were all fused together but like I said this isn’t my reason and I don’t know the details of what that person typed.
honestly my theory or more so headcannon from this game, is that the survivors and killers we see in game, are the ones that escape the realm at some point this doesnt have any proof or whatever, i just want my homies to live on lol
I'm on the same boat as you lol! I like to imagine that one day they all escape the entity's grasp, and they can go back to living as "normally" as they possible can after all they've gone through. I just want them to be happy!
I have a theory that every original survivor and killer (so, excluding licenses) come from the same universe (unless explicitly told otherwise) and the cosmetics are other universes (as suggested by another theory in this video) as a way for the entity to taunt them, showing them what could've been if they weren't taken
Something I love about DBD is the lore and how I feel as if the sound/graphics/story team are in completely teams and groups from the balance/gameplay team. The Archives (sometimes meh) usually fun and interesting dives on killers/characters. Really fun to just listen to while driving or working on something. The sound team with their chase themes, map ambience, music or small sound designs (that keep being added like the bloodweb progression) to just really make this game feel unique. The graphics team sometimes pulls in with maps like RPD being fucking phenomenal compared to its original, maps being reworked to look cooler and more immersive, small easter eggs or nods to killers (like when oni first came out the Katana was removed from Yamaoka Estate) I feel as if some of these theories or ideas can actually work because of their separate teams that actually put thought into their work, although props to BHVR overall for a fun game for the most part.
Theory All survivors are been to void so many times...in void, entity just erase there memorys and just make new memorys inside then, some dark memorys... and send them to the tryal again...As it can still get emotions out of that survivor's soul and save energy that it takes to find and collect people with dark backstorys as it will take a lot of energy to transport someone from 1 relm to another and reforming them .... 1 more theory Bubba crys while using chansaw as everyone in his family were cannabals before entering the realm and it was his job to kill humans for his family to eat. He might not be a good killer before entering the realm,so he still has the fear that survivors will most probably escape and he would get beat up by his famaly
I found your channel recently and it's already one of my favorites right now, I don't usually watch videos in English because it's not my language but your videos are great
All of these theories were awesome! Thank you for including mine! I also mentioned how Wraith’s blighted set had an injection in the weapon as well, which other killer weapons don’t, but it’s fine. I’m just happy it was included. Thank you!
The theory that the universal perks are from lost killer and survivors is wild to think about especially in the context of the stranger things chapter. For one part of the community, we actually witnessed the loss of a killer and survivors. For the other part of the community, they play the game with these new universal perks from characters no longer available
The reason that Slenderman and his proxys haven't been brought in by then entity is cause slenderman has killed creatures like then entity before in his lore and he is to difficult to control. His ability to teleport between dimension means he could just leave a trail whenever he wants and he could very well take the surviors or killers away from the entity
Theory: It's established that Pyramid Head is considered more powerful than the entity, remaining by choice just to enjoy the killing and judgement. However, what if that isn't true? What if that's only what the Entity WANTS Pyramid to believe? After all Pyramid is certainly very powerful, but if he truly is more powerful than the Entity and is not restrained by it, why does he allow himself to lose at all instead of outright killing survivors 100% of the time? I don't know every bit of evidence, but it seems to me that the Entity could just be allowing Pyramid Head to *believe* he is more powerful, possibly suppressing any urge to leave or think differently.
*Yun Jin* : its kinda funny how Smash Hit is the perk most associate with her while *Hillbilly's* perk would be Enduring which have a love-hate relationship ingame Love the Doctor theory though.
I made up this interesting theory just yesterday! Based on the theory that the entity is a Lovecraftian type of being and possibly asleep, dreaming up the realm, I thought what if the entity isn’t evil. This dream world of it’s is a nightmare it is trapped in, not realizing it’s effecting the multiverse. As why would the entity provide any means of escape? If it lives off the emotion and sacrifices why let any get away to the campfire? If the entity was true evil there wouldn’t be gates, hatches, pallets, windows, etc. The entity is an ancient, kind god trapped in a nightmare of its own creation, trying to escape its own creation, altering its own dream world in an attempt to maybe if the right survivor escapes, it will be free. TLDR: Entity isn’t evil, just trapped in a nightmare that it doesn’t realize effects the multiverse.
I really like the universal perks from past survivors and killers theory. It really brings out the story of dbd and the people from before, if there were any
There might be 2 parts to the Entity. Although this sounds strange, there might be 2 undercover survivors that are actually the Entity. Meg might be one of them . Her good personality of caring for her mother and being able to outrun the speediest of killers may make her the good side of the Entity. The bad side, although strange, might be David or Nia. David in his lore is known to throw beer bottles at people and Nia literally kills a man.
I feel like that the dredge is working with the entity because when they talk about the fog taking survivors, the dredge has a black smoke like body and also has screams coming from the Fog, most likely representing the trial of pain and suffering the survivors go through.
(Chapter concept for dead by daylight. If people like it I may make some lore or add ons. I’d love to hear your thoughts) Love is a curious thing. It can cause great joy but also great pain. Some of the more gruesome acts of history were done out of love. Even this emotion can become twisted and vile in the realm of the entity. The new map is… Love struck lane. This cold winding cliff top attraction once brought teenagers hoping for a first kiss. This sight of both love and abduction have been recreated in the auto haven wreckers in the realm of the entity. (Main feature is a high location near an exit that has multiple wrecked cards lined up to be used as loops. the rest would be the killers shed and other normal loops a small shack near “the lane” would hold the second basement spawn) The new killer is the lovers. TR: 20 Normal height 115 movement speed Weapon: The crowbar (a Bruteish and personalized crowbar carved with the names of their past victims. A piece of cloth acting as a handle) Power: brotherly love. Brothers Jake, Jessie and Justin share one body, one mind, and one goal. Meet their one true love. Jake was a gentle soul. Wanting nothing more than to start a family. Jessie is the smart one. Cold and calculating he finds the proper lovers for Jake. Then when they don’t comply and don’t let Jake love them, the victims get to meet Justin. After that no one would want them, their minds broken, their bodies battered, and Jake’s name carved deeply into their flesh. The entity mangled these brothers' desires together creating one powerful monster of a man. (These “brothers” would kidnap people that the main host “Jake” found attractive and fell in love with. Jessie wanting to make his brother happy and Justin loving the sounds of the victims when they attempted to break their minds. The entity tangled the three brothers more, offering the survivors to the entity, hoping it could bring his lover back. He was only stopped by a vigilante detective Named Alexander.) The lovers power is: brotherly love. The brothers each aid the chase with their unique strengths. Jake is in full control at the base. In this mode the lovers can attack survivors as a normal killer. Press the power button to switch into Jessie’s strength. This will make you crouch low to the ground, without losing speed, Crouching down near cover to move slightly faster and more hidden. Hitting the attack button will produce a faster base attack that can reach around pallets and windows. Being hit through the safe places will bring survivors directly onto the shoulder, to be hooked. Hitting basic attacks, breaking a pallet, or being stunned by any means fills up a meter. Pressing the secondary power button on full meter will unleash Justin. In this mode the lovers have a normal terror radius, can vault faster, and have reduced stuns. Hitting a pallet or breakable wall with a basic attack while Justin is in control, will cause it to break. Hitting a survivor through a window or on a pallet will bring them into the dying state. Hitting survivors like normal will leave your target broken for a time (60 seconds). (I’m going for a combination of legion, ghost face, and oni.) Add ons: Improve movement speed while in cover, time to get into cover, aura reading through the thing you are taking cover behind, making survivors scream when you hit a survivor from cover or improve the time to get into Justin and benefits while as Justine such as improved movement speed causing screams when attacking, or giving hit survivors while Justin extra rebuffs like blindness, hemorrhage, or at the highest marks reveal there aura while broken) The lovers come with three perks. Choose the one right for you with… Obsessed. You want the one that loves others. Just let them love you. When a survivor heals another survivor to a new health state, the healer becomes the obsession and you see there aura for a short while (3/5/6) make them love you in return with Scourge hook: mad love. You gain 4 scourge hooks, a survivor hooked on a scourge hook becomes the obsession and suffer from a number of status effects as long as they remain injured or the obsession. (hermitage/mangled/blind) Shock (just reuse the demogorgons teachable perk) A hero of the people may be a villain to others. But one vigilante found himself the target of a new, more powerful threat. This is Alexander hopper. A conspiracy theorist and vigilante detective, Alexander uncovered many things outside the eyes of the law from drug smuggling rings to death worshiping cults, always willing to risk his own life and fight for the innocent. However his hot streak came to an end one cold evening. No case stumped him more than the case of mysterious kidnappings from the lovers lane park in his hometown. Soon this led him down into a dark basement to confront what he expected to be a group. What he found was much more. Alexander comes with three new perks. Fight back against your aggressors and push advantage in your favor with “fighter’s instinct”. You start the trial with a reduced repair speed (25/15/10). When you do anything to hinder your killer such as dropping a pallet on them, escaping their grasp, blinding with a flashlight, or saving your alley safely, you gain a token for an increase in repair speed (8% per stack) up to a maximum(3/4/5). (Autodidact for repairs in essence the symbol being cero kicking someone taller than him or ceeo’s eyes/mask looking over a gen) Your past life brings advantages, gaining help from your new friends. Take advantage of this knowledge with “boon: one for all” while within the radius of a blessed totem all players in that radius can use the passive perks of other players within the radius for themselves at a reduced effectiveness (25/35/50). This effect cannot be stacked with other perks (Think perks like leader, streetwise, or calm spirit that give passive benefits. And if you have the transferred perk it won’t stack, plus 8 meter aura versions of the perks won’t work either. The symbols would be a unusual symbol that alexander has on his wrists) The most unexpected Ally’s can always prove the most useful. Get help from old friends with “Familiar’s possession”. When you disturb a crow while not carrying an item, there is a chance they drop an item. The item will only have a small percentage of its charges (25/35/50) and will only remain for a moment until being reclaimed by the entity. This perk will deactivate when an item spawned by this effect is picked up. (The symbol would look like an owl) Be the hero the world needs or the reason to call for help. The choice is yours. Dead by daylight chapter court of the moon.
That last theory doesn’t sound that off. Its actually cool to kinda have a theory like that in the back of your head the next time you get into a game.
I have an idea, Entity puts a part of itself into each one of killers and as we play killers we see from point of view of tht part of the Entiy, that's part of reason why killers actually kill people with no hesitation and why they can use Entity's gifts, they have a part of it within them at all times, maybe survivors too have parts of entity infused into them since they also can get some gifts.
im not sure about ash, bill can also speak (he says "why?!") when wiggling sometimes so that makes 2 that can speak. Survivors all have the ability to show emotion (survivors have fear in there facial animations, make noises when hit + injured and show character in lobbies so its safe to say those who dont speak are at there own discretion.
01:40 the theory with us being the entity is good but just imagine, you are in a match playing as killer and you let the last survivor escape through the hatch, the entity would never let something like this happen.
that "Claudette will defeat the entity" got me laughing hard, because most of them don't even survive me lmao though that logic put me to think if I was wrong about claudettes
Jake has been trapped in the realm longer than any other survivor: Jake has a base cosmetic in which he looks 15-20 years older. Everyone else appears to stay the same age because they haven't been here long enough to age by a noticable margin.
The last one is similar to a theory that I had but it’s not a person’s mind, the entity either saw a new horror film/TV show or made a creepy pasta and found someone to fit that description
funnily enough i had a theory that the developers were the entity. They have access to all these killers and survivors and all our videos and comments about the game give them the sustenance they need. Thats why auric cells cost money thats why we can upgrade thats why the store exsists thats how we have access to all these memories!
Eyyy I'm number 3! :D Thanks Azhymovs! Also an addendum to the "RPD is breaking" theory, could the globs of weird slime be clusters of flesh mutated by the G virus? G mutants are covered in flesh that resembles it.
The first theory makes a lot of sense as originally we altered the map with offerings that either increased or decreased the moonlight before the fog was a thing.
Wait for the ash theory I think I can explain the voice lines he may be talking to the killers when he says “look whose shittin in the tall grass” he could actually be talking to a killer
Theory:
Survivors are able to repair generators with no mechanical engineering knowledge because the entity itself doesn't know how a generator works but only knows the outcome of repairing one so the generators are simply manifested as objects where you have to connect wires and pull random levers to make them start.

Sounds like undetectable avoids the entities gaze too
This would also mean that GF makes himself undetectable by taking over his own body in order to do what he does best for a period of time but keeps on the entity's game just cuz he likes to, which is implied in his lore

@@YukiColburn You obviously haven't played this game a lot
@@atanon why though? You are just watching them and you arent them. So you consuming the bloodweb would make sense.
Yun jin being the reicarnation of Evelyn was the most random shit ive ever heard im laughing really hard at this
He also made it to make sense.
The funniest thing is that it's kinda plausible

Justice for Philip!

By all rights characters like Pinhead, Pyramid Head and Freddy would be able to shred and destroy just about anything, but because of The Entity's interference, that doesn't happen.
do u mean a sandwitch LOL
i think theyre very apt for her she used her magic and blessings to hide from the entity before she was taken she also used blessings to try to recover or "heal" after the entity attacks. it also says that she used her magic to heal and help herself and her friends.
My theory:
DBDleaks confirmed that FNAF won’t come to DBD. This is suspicious since DBDleaks never deconfirmed a license before.
Plus DBD Mobile tweeted a bunch of newspaper and lastly, it was on April 1st, so what does this mean…
Breaking Bad will come to DBD. Think about it, the first newspaper teaser showed the map that came with Clown. Clown created chemicals, just like Walter White. Plus Breaking Bad has been a huge horror franchises and it’s prequel Better Call Saul will end this year. I’m 99% sure that the next killer is Walter White and the next survivor is Jesse.
all i gotta say is if Leaks is tellin the truth on this, they could say the new killer is a Roomba n i will 100% believe them
let's gooo
Bravo Vince!
That's brilliant. Would love to see that happen
his power is to cook at an interactable table that spawns when he is played and gain a special resource, money, the more he does.
he can then spend the money to slowly transform from walter white into heisenberg.
I like this one, it's pretty deep and also kind of heart breaking.

I wanna know which dead killer had NOED as a teachable. They sound so powerful, and interesting!
Probably too dangerous to be kept in the realm
Maybe death itself?
Maybe some kind of endgame killer?
for the description we can see that the killer from NOED was strong enough to be punished in middle of the match for the entity, and being able to just get strong from is own emotions. but for what i think is may be a killer with a really good personality(for me that what i feel) and really commited to is job even is that killer may like to just dont follow what the entity say
Theory: The Entity wants to corrupt Claudete
The thing is that I belive that if the Entity would corrupt a survivor into a killer would be none other than Claudette.
Maybe The Entity tricks Claudette to do that and it would free her from the trials, but it would be all a lie and maybe she could become a killer that uses florers as way to hurt survivors (like Poison Ivy, from Batman)
So yeah, that's my theory
@Blue Kiddo with hag it honestly could have been her experimenting with hexs.
Theory: Every Killer sees their obsession as their actual obsession

Hillbilly to Yun Jin-Lee: "Mom, where were you a long time?"
Trickster: "WTF?!"
Random Theories:
-The Deathslinger is Jeff’s ancestor
-Danny(Ghostface) and The Legion know each other
-The Entity keeps references of Naughty Bear to reminisce about it’s prior work
Mostly likely Danny wouldn’t know the teens.
I like the 2nd one
Isn't Jeff Norwegian and Deathslinger Irish?
Never heard of mixed ancestry?
Why do you think Jeff and the deathslinger are related?

I thought Carmina was implied to be the daughter of The Entity. (Like we all think Nea is)
Though, a funnier thought crossed when you talked of the sincerity of her backstory - what if she's a crow? And all these memories are twists on her crow memories to evoke more emotions ; or, being a native to the realm, implanted outright?
My theory:
The entity powers up both survivors and killers which explains the terror radius, red stain, why the killers are so big and how survivors are more resilient and stronger than most people. Also if the survivors escaped the realm would they even be able to live since they would’ve been revived by the entity after a trial after dying at some point. Another point if undetectable is the killer losing their connection to the entity does that mean The Pig simply crouching down severs their connection with the entity
something i thought about with the undetectable status is the killers who have undetectable in their base kit.
it actually can fit the idea of it being linked to the entity.
the entity gets the killers to do one thing, find and kill survivors asap. but all killers with built in undetectable have their own motives for delaying a kill, or outright trying not to kill.
myers and ghostface: they love to draw out the kill by stalking. the entity may be pushing them to ignore stalking and just kill, so they disconnect from it in order to do their thing.
pig: she loves using traps instead of directly killing, giving survivors a chance to live. so while sneaking up to apply a trap she disconnects from the entity saying ignore traps, just stab them
freddy: loves to generate fear in peoples dreams before killing them, also in their dreams. so he blatantly ignores the entity in order to make people fall asleep before attacking.
sadako: she wants people to watch her tape and die to her curse. the entity may have empowered her to attack and kill without her curse but she still disconnects from the entity and clings to her tapes.
and lastly, wraith: he literally doesnt want to kill. he wants to hide from the bad guys and only kills when he has no choice. ringing his fathers bell makes him feel safe and hidden, breaking away from the entitys ever present urge to kill.
let me know if i missed any stealth killers.
edit: right, spirit. she was never a killer, just a young girl who was murdered. shes now trapped as a ghost bound by rage and vengeance thanks to the violence inherent in her bloodline. she most likely has a small part of humanity trying to escape her purgatory and move on, resulting in phasing partially out of the realm.
That is such a good idea! And funny enough, this works into insidious bubba!

The graphics team sometimes pulls in with maps like RPD being fucking phenomenal compared to its original, maps being reworked to look cooler and more immersive, small easter eggs or nods to killers (like when oni first came out the Katana was removed from Yamaoka Estate)
I feel as if some of these theories or ideas can actually work because of their separate teams that actually put thought into their work, although props to BHVR overall for a fun game for the most part.
Theory
All survivors are been to void so many times...in void, entity just erase there memorys and just make new memorys inside then, some dark memorys... and send them to the tryal again...As it can still get emotions out of that survivor's soul and save energy that it takes to find and collect people with dark backstorys as it will take a lot of energy to transport someone from 1 relm to another and reforming them ....
1 more theory
Bubba crys while using chansaw as everyone in his family were cannabals before entering the realm and it was his job to kill humans for his family to eat. He might not be a good killer before entering the realm,so he still has the fear that survivors will most probably escape and he would get beat up by his famaly
I found your channel recently and it's already one of my favorites right now, I don't usually watch videos in English because it's not my language but your videos are great
I knew nothing about the light burn mechanic. You learn something new every day
one of my favorite things in these videos is watching azy slowly get better at looping every video
Glad I got into this video! Always look forward to your videos, whether it's theories, tier lists, information, it's always enjoyable to watch!
All of these theories were awesome! Thank you for including mine! I also mentioned how Wraith’s blighted set had an injection in the weapon as well, which other killer weapons don’t, but it’s fine. I’m just happy it was included. Thank you!
I’m not trying to disprove your theory bc I think it’s a really nice one, but pyramid head also has an injection in his weapon
@@Dhhshevejeje wait really?
@@CondorCrow yup!
Theory:
It's established that Pyramid Head is considered more powerful than the entity, remaining by choice just to enjoy the killing and judgement. I don't know every bit of evidence, but it seems to me that the Entity could just be allowing Pyramid Head to *believe* he is more powerful, possibly suppressing any urge to leave or think differently.
pyramid head doesnt think
*Yun Jin* : its kinda funny how Smash Hit is the perk most associate with her while *Hillbilly's* perk would be Enduring which have a love-hate relationship ingame
Love the Doctor theory though.
The universal perks have always been a theory of mine. I mean they literally have quotes and flavor texts.
I think Resilience is Meg because it looks exactly like her
it definitely looks close
Unrelenting has to be Wraith too
I really like the universal perks from past survivors and killers theory. It really brings out the story of dbd and the people from before, if there were any
2:27 The theory that the player is the Entity had been the best theory I've seen
7:39 i feel so bad for this oni but it made me mad because all he had to do was break chase.
Well we all know nea is the entity
I was waiting for this video ever since the community post!
All theories aside, I love the Oni DC in the background (7:37)
Hey. AZHYMOVS yet another amazing video. Hope you have an amazing weekend. Can't wait for your next video
The last one reminded me of the game The Evil Within.
Just like Myer's power's name now I think of it.
I feel like that the dredge is working with the entity because when they talk about the fog taking survivors, the dredge has a black smoke like body and also has screams coming from the Fog, most likely representing the trial of pain and suffering the survivors go through.
There is one wacky DbD theory that I like
It's that BHVR hired hackers to shut down the VHS lobbies
(Chapter concept for dead by daylight. If people like it I may make some lore or add ons. I’d love to hear your thoughts)
Love is a curious thing.
(Main feature is a high location near an exit that has multiple wrecked cards lined up to be used as loops. the rest would be the killers shed and other normal loops a small shack near “the lane” would hold the second basement spawn)
The new killer is the lovers.
TR: 20
Normal height
115 movement speed
Weapon: The crowbar (a Bruteish and personalized crowbar carved with the names of their past victims. A piece of cloth acting as a handle)
Power: brotherly love.
He was only stopped by a vigilante detective Named Alexander.)
The lovers power is: brotherly love.
(I’m going for a combination of legion, ghost face, and oni.)
Add ons:
Improve movement speed while in cover, time to get into cover, aura reading through the thing you are taking cover behind, making survivors scream when you hit a survivor from cover or improve the time to get into Justin and benefits while as Justine such as improved movement speed causing screams when attacking, or giving hit survivors while Justin extra rebuffs like blindness, hemorrhage, or at the highest marks reveal there aura while broken)
The lovers come with three perks.
Choose the one right for you with… Obsessed. You want the one that loves others. Just let them love you. When a survivor heals another survivor to a new health state, the healer becomes the obsession and you see there aura for a short while (3/5/6)
make them love you in return with Scourge hook: mad love.
You gain 4 scourge hooks, a survivor hooked on a scourge hook becomes the obsession and suffer from a number of status effects as long as they remain injured or the obsession. (hermitage/mangled/blind)
Shock (just reuse the demogorgons teachable perk)
A hero of the people may be a villain to others.
(Autodidact for repairs in essence the symbol being cero kicking someone taller than him or ceeo’s eyes/mask looking over a gen)
Your past life brings advantages, gaining help from your new friends. The symbols would be a unusual symbol that alexander has on his wrists)
The most unexpected Ally’s can always prove the most useful. (The symbol would look like an owl)
Be the hero the world needs or the reason to call for help. The choice is yours. Dead by daylight chapter court of the moon.
Hot dam thats an interesting concept
That last theory doesn’t sound that off. Its actually cool to kinda have a theory like that in the back of your head the next time you get into a game.
1:15 “when light appears it is in quite small quantities”
What about cold wind and dead dog….
Well that’s a cool way of thinking about it , Nancy and Steve are gone from the realm now they are back with their friends and family
If we were the entity I don't think it would make much sense for us to be competing against "Ourselves" for perks and addons in the blood web.
The survivor vs oni gameplay at the beginning was crazy
Ayo, can’t believe my theory made it into the video!!!
(I was the "You are the entity" comment)
im not sure about ash, bill can also speak (he says "why?!") when wiggling sometimes so that makes 2 that can speak. Survivors all have the ability to show emotion (survivors have fear in there facial animations, make noises when hit + injured and show character in lobbies so its safe to say those who dont speak are at there own discretion.
I think Dwight also yells “NOOOO” after getting hooked
I quite like the first theory, it explains quite a lot
Oh thanks! Took me a while to write it all down :D
@@Nyytj I actually saw it before this video on the community post, great theory, keep it up!!
01:40 the theory with us being the entity is good but just imagine, you are in a match playing as killer and you let the last survivor escape through the hatch, the entity would never let something like this happen.
that "Claudette will defeat the entity" got me laughing hard, because most of them don't even survive me lmao
though that logic put me to think if I was wrong about claudettes
I LOVE the universal perk theory I would love to see some of the Lost Tapes characters fleshed out a bit, either by fans or by the devs
Great video yet again! And thanks for featuring my theory!
Fun fact those quotes from certain perks were actually picked out by moderators for dbd, sassy uk is a streamer/ and was a mod for the game
Eyyy I'm number 3! :D Thanks Azhymovs!
Also an addendum to the "RPD is breaking" theory, could the globs of weird slime be clusters of flesh mutated by the G virus? G mutants are covered in flesh that resembles it.
“Claudette will defeat the Entity”
I wonder which survivor that guy mains.
4:10
Wait...
The image on the perks changed?
I still have both Nancy and Steve in their respective perks.
And I play DBD regularly.
They remain the same if you own the DLC, for the people who dont have it they changed
