This is March 2021 and England is "locked-down" courtesy of Covid 19! Just relaxing on my computer watching these brilliant (if idiotic) drivers giving such wonderful entertainmenmt. Thank you so much America. Made my evening really exciting.
I wait for this video every year!!! Thanks for posting it. I wish all Derbys were this hard driving and had the cars looking good like these guys do. Awesome show!
God I miss the days when the Crow Wing County Fair would have the demo derbies. Have to let me know when in 2017 when Pine city is having these. I did see Crow Wing Co fair had them back in 2014 after many years of none, but it had very few heats, just 3 when in days past you would have an entire night or two of them.
I understand maybe some of the imperials are too far gone or not cost feasable to restore but some of these look very restorable before removing the trim was removed with a claw hammer. What a shame but makes for good entertainment!
Being that I'm the Last American President, During my 59' Presidency, I authorized Pine Co Mn fair to hold U.S. Championship Demolition Derbies , In exchange for "Ike" clothing , buttons, and other pentagon apparel , pushing Chrysler and the miniskirt to the top for the 1968 model year.... I hope Mamie was Ok with all this............Peace
This is a real shame to see these vintage beauties being junked. I have no idea why someone would do this to these cars rather than using common Crown Vics. Just because Imperials are built tough is no reason to destroy a vintage rare automobile. Absolutely criminal!
I'ts a real pleasure to see these vintage babes get junked, how could you say such a thing, Didn't Obama sign in to law the scrapping program we just had?..
Completely agree I see videos of people using 50s and 60s ford trucks idk why that would even use classic cars it's not like they are cheap or anything so it's just sad
Realistically the 64 model year looked nice but they were junk when they were on the showroom floor....by 1966 they had things in a little better line mechanically....just sayen..
Every derby video I watch has people commenting "it's a shame blah blah blah to waste cars blah blahhhh" 99 percent of cars derbied are rusted and not road worthy some of these guys go buy half frames to fix the cars or subframes fallacy whole engines weld the frame together most if not all derby cars can't be fixed because of frame rust for example if a car is unfixable because the frame is rusted out you can weld it to run in a derby but you can't run it on the road it can NOT be fixed to run on the road it's not a shame to derby broken cars what's a shame is Obama raised the price of junk so high that most of the old cars got junked that's what the shame is Obama ruined everything good in America
I love Dumbo derbies and I kind of dig watching them but to caliber of some of these cars that you're going to destroy I just cannot get with it's really pissing me off to the point of screaming I'd love to have any one of those cars turn it into a rat rod or some of them I would drive on the street as they are probably with this day and age all the SUVs minivans out there can't you find something better to smash

I do too. Last year's video was amazing as well.
There was a lot of money out in the derby that night. Those Imperials in particular, the Imperial was probably the best derby car ever made.
i love the old cars, great to see them running. some day i'll own one to drive to work everyday.
The mother of all demo videos thanks Dwight!!
True Classic nothing like the Old Chrysler Imperials.
It's sorta like watching elephants mud wrestle ") Been a long time since I've seen that many Imperials in one place.
One of the best DERBY IN Minnesota. I'll be at Saturday nights 2017 !!!!
I hope there is a 2017 video. I love these from the past 2 years.
A pretty well known driver from the Midwest said he ran in an Imperial derby once, and after he was done, his legs were ringing.
all those poor old beautiful cars!!!
I like all the cars in the derby
I like Ike!!!! You make kick ass videos of awesome derbies dammit man!!!!

Damn I would love to have an imperial to drive to the store lol
I miss the sound of these old Chryslers whining out. It's addicting.

Only one car dropped early .it seemed like alot of cars going for a while awesome.
I take it they are not allowed different bumpers cause the 44 folded like crazy.

Hi,Gh all my own Belogical that is out there racing
Sucks our Derby in Shelbyville banned them and other awesome beasts, now its a snowflake ball....
If the Titanic had been a Chrysler Imperial, it would have turned that iceberg into a giant snow cone and kept right on sailing
Was this a team derby?
So is there a USA demolition derby championship

all these cars are basically rust spot free...js
jonathan nickey that's because they're painted over you dip
Blame Obama hahaha... can't even type full readable sentences. I blame your school if you ever went to one.
painted over rust free cars....
Only shame here is none of em used the ass. These bitches were known for pure stout
Also they need tires with traction so that they don't spend so much time spinning in place.
Lots of tire speed is also a benefit in spinning around easier,, plus its fun as well
