YES! THAT IS SO TRUE! We thank technology, that channel, and youtube. I get to watch and listen to this anytime, anywhere. It was, however, unfortunate that Luciano's dad did not go to a professional or higher level. He could be a superstar, too. Although, as we what hear here, Luciano's voice is something else, something special. That intensity is one of them.
The proverbial twig does NOT fall far from the tree! Luciano's father has a wonderfully powerful and natural un-trained voice! Wonderful emotion and feeling!
The proverbial limb does not fall far from the tree liked that its popular Brazilian saying to us Very good thanks for visiting my page. hugs This sang is a genius
The apple does not fall far from the three, we say in Sweden. I think that Fernando had a better ring in his voice. That places him higher up in the shouting-----singing scale.
I grew up singing this song in Church and always loved it. But to hear Luciano singing it with his beloved father, both voices blending togehter so beautifully, is one of life's great experiences. Thank you for this video.
My goodness! His dad has a lovely voice. I'm crying. It's so sad his crippling stage fright kept him from the stage. But he is sharing his gift fro God for all to see on YT. Descansen en paz los tenores.
I know this song as one which was sung often in Church when I was young. It's beautiful in its own rite, but heavenly when sung by the two Pavarotti's. Thank you for posting this!
What a proud moment to sing along with his son .... and vice versa Thank you gentlemen for gifting the world with your talent😍!! Rest in peace and love💔
Very emotional this moment, you can realize how ...artistic is the both voices use, the ..very kind of "singing"style, yeah, Big Luciano had the luck of a great father, this is my very favorite opera style as well...the sound is never flat, dead and lifeless, the loud voice is like waking up audience effect but never shout, it's so much sweetness in singing, it's delightful indeed. Wish them all opera singers learn to caress the audience's hearts instead of using the powerful performances to be meany and pushy on the others ears, it's not that the point to torture the audience, there's such a.. thin very thin difference. ..for those who care to listen good music, it's not about, those who like opera shows they like it no matter what, no. It's about .. being this artistic❤🎉❤
Senor Pavorotti had a gorgeous voice, not as deep as his son's, and he was a bit older but what BOTH beautiful voices. God would be blessed hearing these two magnificent men singing HIS praises. me
The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree! This is just beautiful, amazing and too many other words that I can barely spell! Thanks so much for posting! varadero
Luciano still have shown respect to his Father. Yet the voice of his dad was truly exploding. It is hard to contain. What a talent. if that is an intellectual strength, it is soooo high.
When I was in grammar school we used to sing a song in rounds, (much as this illustrious father and son team do in this most moving clip,) The words of the song were, "All things shall pass away under the sky, music alone shall live, never to die."
Gritante a diferença da voz de Pavarotti e a de seu acompanhante! Bo, mas para se louvar à Deus, o que vale são os Intuito do espírito! PARABÉNS AOS DOIS!
THE BEST !!! MAGNIFICENT !!! DEAR Jarrod Richey, BIG, BIG, BIG THANKS FOR THE FANTASTIC VIDEO, FOR THE HUGE PLEASURE !!! ALL WE - ALL WORLD LOVE THE INFORGETTABLE PAVAROTTI !!! BOW BEFOR PAVAROTTI"S TALENTS !!! GOD BLESS PAVAROTTI"S SOULS !!! ALWAYS WITH A LOVE FROM SOFIA - BULGARIA
WOW...I LOVE UA-cam....what fabulous and rare footage. Where else could you get to see such interesting material. Fernando had a great voice himself and this is the first time I have heard a performance. Beautiful father-son relationship
Indudablemente que fue un gran placer para aquellos devotos que acudieron a esa misa. Doble banquete espiritual. . . y todavía, apreciar el ejemplo de un padre que enseñó a cantar a su hijo. . .
There is a story proving that he had perfect pitch. Pavarotti was getting ready to sing with an orchestra in a rehearsal, and he noticed that the harp was flat. Others went to check it and it was indeed flat. I can also tell here that he sings every note perfectly.
Imagine going to mass and it turns out that, the ones in charge of the music is going to be Fernando and his son Luciano Pavarottti singing in Italian and Latin, wao, simply wao. Those people indeed where lucky and God bless them.
Pround and Amazing CATHOLICS. How happy I am being a Catholic. Luciano Pavarotti is THE ONE, It's like God is singing when you hear Him sing. Incomparable. His Father, Mr. Fernando, as this strong and very high range. While, Mr. Luciano, gives that power, grace and uniqueness That when oneself hear Him, you can say "THAT'S LUCIANO PAVAROTTI!!!".How can a Catholic not be proud of Pavarotti. in the last part we can hear the Very Strong, very powerful low range, echoing as if it came from heaven. It's like a lion roaring. I would love to imitate His voice but I just can't maybe just a few percent, well, my voice "Bass". he he. He inspire me alot. and make my voice stronger. I need more practice, though I possess the strongest voice. Our leader in the Choir, asked me to adjust, thoug 'm already doing it, because He said "It's Loudness and shaking (Yanig, in Filipino) and we can't do that" :-) It's quite hard to follow... Thanks to IDOL, Luciano Pavarotti. Maybe, God would not make a person such as Him, in terms of singing. He was MARVELOUS. Love ya, Luciano Pavarotti.
Fernando Pavarotti used to say that he was the one with the great voice in the family. Notably he said that to the Bonynges I believe when they were at a meal together and Fernando sang Italian songs after to everyone's delight.
the bond between father and son is very difficult to break and the bells of heaven awake when they sing together.. RIP Fernando and Luciano.
I have never heard a more beautiful voice than Luciano's and now we know where it came from..
How fortunate we are that this was recorded and that the equipment necessary to do it existed.

Liebe, Respekt, Wertschätzung an seinen Vater. Wie Luciano am Ende seine Hand hielt. Ich hätte zu gerne dem Gottesdiennst beigeqohnt.❤

Bet Dad's heart was bursting with pride ... at the power of the voice standing beside him.
He always said his voice was better than his son's. 😊
This makes me miss my Father, who introduced me to Pavarotti at a young age. I've enjoyed opera ever since.
mine did the same.. he's still here.. for now ❤
@@Somer-set Bless him. Now go enjoy some Pavarotti with him for me.❤

You should hang on to those sublime memories, my friend! God is with you!
@@kelsocampbell1301 Thank you for your kind words. Everytime I hear Pavarotti I am transported, and I can feel his presence with me. ❤️ Blessings
Father Pavarotti certainly should have been proud of his voice. Great voice with good technique.
The father had beautiful voice also! He was great master of his son Luciano.
Father had the better voice actually, but he just never had any formal training or took the time needed to develop.
I grew up singing this song in Church and always loved it. But to hear Luciano singing it with his beloved father, both voices blending togehter so beautifully, is one of life's great experiences. Thank you for this video.
Now I understand better why Luciano was so great, the greatest one!
so wonderful. only tears! 2 angels singing together! RIP both and teach the angels how to sing. greetings from Germany....
Lovely sentiment brought a lump to my throat...Thanks
That is breath taking. Luciano's papa could have been a star.
What a truly beautiful experience to share with one's father! Absolute magic.
a moment paused for an eternity as I was drawn to the edges of heaven by this brilliant father and son masterpiece.
Amazing, TWO Pavarottis! His father had a very beautiful silvery tenor, it would have been incredible to hear them together.
I love Luciano's father's bright and thrilling voice. Gonna try to copy this technique.
Beautiful voice Pavarotti's Father. Really touching soul and heart

beautiful, imagine how proud his dad is, and how he helped create probably the most famous voice of all time :)
Ladies and gentlemen, what a duet!
Pavarotti had -absolute pitch-. It was something he was born with and was one of the many gifts he had that aided him in his life.
Senor Pavorotti had a gorgeous voice, not as deep as his son's, and he was a bit older but what BOTH beautiful voices. God would be blessed hearing these two magnificent men singing HIS praises. me
Very beautiful and quite thrilling! Pavarotti's family and the world was very privileged with their voices.
Fernando definitely passed that bell clear tone to his son. It’s so neat to hear them together.
