I've only been watching your videos a few months but look forward to watching many more . Congratulations on your 1 year Anniversary of having your own home . I bought a small home built in 1900 and would love to redo things you give me inspiration to get busy on it.. Have a great day..
I loved your house video because it reminded me so much of my first house - a two bed one bath with very similar layout. You are never finished with a house and also, everyone makes mistakes or thinks back on things that you could have done differently but that's life and you can go back later when you can afford to upgrade things like your oven. You have done such a beautiful job.
Hi Becky bless ya , your so sweet . I to can’t believe it’s been a year already since you moved into your home . You’ve done such a good job . Really enjoy your videos , keep going and say hi to mum and dad ❤
Congratulations on 1 year as a homeowner! Your house looks wonderful, and look at all that useful real-world learning you're doing! That gets you off on a good foundation, in more ways than one!
Hi Becky A year went by so quickly you’ve transformed your home into your little palace of beauty very cozy and comfortable look front door is lovely you must be very proud of your achievements it’s definitely not an easy task buying and renovating it’s lovely ❤ looking forward to your bathroom transformation shine bright you lovely star X
I started following you when you put up your first house video as I do love to see how people refurbish their houses and I have been watching all your videos since then, I especially love the ones with your Mum and Dad. Thank you for the recommendation of My Builder, I'll give them a go as I have a broken air brick on the side of my house but none of my local builders are interested, they are either booked up for the coming year or not interested in small jobs x
Omg I couldn't stop laughing at the part about the window latch falling off 🤣 I feel your pain. Our house had many things in it that weren't standard sized. So when I updated the kitchen, I had to drill holes in every cabinet and drawer to fit in the new standard sized pulls. Even the doors in parts of the house were weirdly smaller when they shouldn't have been. It def added charm... and a headache lol.
Unbelievable a year gone . Feels like only yesterday when you made that announced .Your home when from night to day..Congratulations on you 1 year anniversary ❤️
Amalia here. No I can't believe it! I think I started watching your channel just a little before you bought your place and that means I've been watching for more than a year!! I can't believe it. Where did that time go?!
My husband and I are veteran DIYers (our first house) and getting in the professionals (for later houses) . Everybody learns, a LOT on their first house. Welcome to the Doer Uppers Club! Btw there are lots of "daylight lighting" options no available. Take your time and read about lighting and you maybe to make it into a much brighter space with a few tweaks. Good luck with your future projects.
Hi Becky, looking forward to seeing how the bathroom goes thats my next project but i cant decide on what i want . Regarding brightening up your kitchen i got mine wrapped and it was a great and reasonably priced way to do it and looks fab with the variety of finishes and colours :)
Happy One Year Home anniversary 🎉 I too moved in my home almost a year ago - I have been completely ripped off by so many tradesmen!!! I will look into The Builder for future work Love your vlogs and your lovely home ❤
Luv your home Becky. Its so very cute. Its so much fun to decorate your first home. Your doing so great . ❤️ I just used a outdoor paint to do my outside doors. I painted mine a lovely orange colour. My home has white siding .
What a great video! I was wondering how your house was going as we don’t really get to see too much of it when I say too much like someone around bits that you may have done to it since you last show does. When I moved into my house about a year and a half ago at the ripe old age of 43 because before that I was renting properties mainly studio apartments and when I moved into this property that I bought. I knew that all my money was been sank into this property, so I wasn’t going to have as much money left over to be able to put my own stamp on the property, so I went out and shopped around for secondhand pieces of furniture that were in reasonable condition and I have. Up cycled them to look how I want them to look in my property and it worked out so much cheaper than buying a brand-new piece of furniture and if you know how to shop really good for secondhand products you can get some really good bargains as I managed to get a brand-new sofa which I absolutely love for only £100 because the people who I bought it off had moved into a property that was fully furnished with brand-new furniture and they wanted to keep their own furniture so they were selling off the brand-new furniture that came with the property if you get what I mean. If you just buy secondhand furniture just to keep you going until you have enough money saved up to buy new or in the end it works out better. Anyhow that’s my thought. Keep up the good work you’ll get there.
I hope you are all watching the Ads before and during Bex’s videos! I’ve just spent nearly 8 mins watching the Gucci fashion show which was really interesting.
What about getting a sliding door for the kitchen . Saves space & cut out the washing machine noise

You have done amazingly well. It has taken us 5 years to fully renovate our house. To have achieved it on your own is even more impressive.

Upcycling is a great idea!
I've noticed a lot of homes in England have the washing machine in the kitchen houses must be quite small there
You can't swing a cat in new builds. Horrendous. Why, where are you? Amalia
