Now the challenge will be to find any activity in your area on 2 meter AM. I don't think there is any in my area. Even 2 meter FM activity is now a fraction of what it used to be. Perhaps people these days are chatting on their cell phones instead of hamming on their trip to/from work. I enjoyed 2m AM QSOs in the late 1960 but didn't have the luxury of a VFO. Have fun.
Bob - Actually this baby is up for sale on eBay. It's not one that I want to restore. I rescued it from the home of a SK friend of mine. It was worth the money I spent to keep from going to the dump.
