Randomly got this knife the other day. Spent some time reading up on it and man is it a rabbit hole. No idea this knife was so important. This video helped me understand what the mods are all about. Thanks
Been eyeing these for a minute now. I have the completly clear glow rhino keychain and I love it. Super functional especially if you have a vehicle with push to start.
Dig the lanyard hole plug! I think they also make axis bars with tritium inserts, so add that and their scales and you’d have the most radioactive Bugout in OR!
I’ve got a similar setup, no plug, but the thumbstud is blue and the axis lock is green, with red g10 and black hardware. I’ve got a few bugouts both mini and regular. All of them are maxed out
@@zachstuff my bad. It’s black but the tritium is blue. Both were from glow rhino, but the axis lock is green tritium and the stud is blue tritium. I dunno if that was intentional or not when I ordered… it said both were green… either way it’s turned out nicely! I like the mini bugout so much
Putting Tridium in a knife....good idea...was surprised there weren't a lot of scales/hardware compnies offering this.... this video...the Tridium didn't show up :) Perhaps the Tridium "dot" is small (VS on a pistol front/rear sight...a lot more obvious)... Do another video with their scales...not sure if you hve to zoom into the knife for us to see the tridium. Cheeck from behind your camera to make sure the Tridium is being picked up...
I dig the lanyard hole plug. That glow is much more visible than the thumb stud or axis lock, and easier to see from an angle. You have to be right on top of the thumb stud to see the glow.
I was a bit disappointed with the amount of light from my Glow Rhino (PM2 lanyard plug). I have night sights in several pistols that are at least 6-7 years old that are easily twice this bright. Surprised how easily your stud came out. My 940 had permanent thread lock in its thumbstud that needed a heat gun to get it loose. I used blue Loctite putting it back together.
Yeah it seems some of those smaller ones are not as bright. I have a good glow on the Bugout lanyard plug. I have some older night sights that work pretty good for the age too.
Howdy! I only have the Crossfade from Flytanium and do not have the original set of classic titanium scales to compare to. Maybe just shoot Glow Rhino a quick email.
Cool upgrade. Do you know if the lanyard plug will fit the Bailout? I just checked out their website and no plug was offered for the Bailout. Thanks for the video 🤘🤘
What up Zach how's that slick'em all u like it better than KPL? And I finely got my scales from Roguebladeworks took 45days they still didn't have the ones I ordered I told them I pay difference for the red CF ones that was olny ones they had in they just ended up giving me them to me didn't make me pay the difference witch was nice but 45 days that's to long time to not send the person there stuff. Hey it all worked out.
I’m glad you finally got your scales! Yes, the Slick ‘Em All is working perfectly! Only difference is you have to tear down the knife initially, but well worth it. I keep both around for those quick lube scenarios!
Honestly, they are pretty pointless if you keep your knife in your pocket or in a pouch bc they aren't going to glow bc they won't be getting any light in your pocket.

I'm glad you like it! thanks for the feedback and enjoy your new knife!
These are a pretty cool idea! I dont use lanyards either and it gives the knife a little more pop!
Agreed Big Red! It would look great on your red Bugout!!

Oh I will have to try one of those! They appear to give off some good light. Thanks!
When it comes to Benchmade you always find the coolest stuff thanks for sharing Zach
Thanks Grim for checking them out! I try to find fun ones to share!
Awesome stuff! Thanks for this video and displaying our upgrades Zach!!
You’re Welcome!

Oh I missed those on my order! I feel a radioactive Bugout build in my future! Thanks Marshall!
I'm digging those cool little mods I need that on my Bugout!
It’s a fun mod Bama for sure! Plus it makes you want to keep turning off the lights everywhere!!
2 very cool upgraded! Great video Zach 👍
I think so too!

Nice a blue thumbstud! Sounds like a nice build on your Bugout’s!

It's disappointing the glow rhino product aren't compatible with g10

Totally agree and I am happy it is two sided and has the longer tritium tube! Thanks for checking them out!
Those look good! Thank you for sharing
Appreciate you checking them out David!
Love my Glow Rhino thumbstuds. Just enough light to locate your knife.
Yeah I definitely agree! The lanyard plug is twice as bright. Thanks Stuff Sharp Enough!
Nice demo enjoyed it looks great👍
Thanks Darnell! 🤙🏼
These are very neat.
Pretty fun additions!
what is that blue screwdriver you are using? thank you & great video
Thanks for checking this video out! It is the Turas driver from Journey Tool Co.
Those are pretty cool nice upgrade
I appreciate it Joe! The lanyard plug is a nice one!

I was looking at the knife butt plug and I thought it said on the site there is no need to do anything more than loosen the rear 2 screws to install.
Hey Stephen! You can definitely do the two screw method, however I don’t want to tweak the liners. Plus it looks so much more fun on video!!
Will this fit in the bugout flytanium classic scales?
Howdy! I only have the Crossfade from Flytanium and do not have the original set of classic titanium scales to compare to. Maybe just shoot Glow Rhino a quick email.
For sure
Cool upgrade. Do you know if the lanyard plug will fit the Bailout? I just checked out their website and no plug was offered for the Bailout. Thanks for the video 🤘🤘
Thanks Mike! Nothing official on the Bailout yet. Hoping they do the G-10 Bugout and Bailout next!
Hey Zach. Do you know if GR has the lanyard plug in white tritium or who may? Thanks.
Currently they just have the lanyard plugs in the green glow. I would imagine if it does well they will add more options.
What's up zach.. those are cool to find your knife in the dark
Hey Michael!
Do you know if they lanyard plug will work in the mini bugout?
The hole size is different for the mini. No mini option on their website right now.
My thumbstud glows blue... is that a thing? Just install yesterday
A blue glow would be pretty rad!

Will the lanyard plug work with flytanium scales?
Great question! I will try it out and post the update this evening. I would imagine specs are similar.
Did this ever get figured out? I just bought the flytanium classic copper scales.
They are cool 👍🏻✌🏻
Popping that color all night long!
That’s cool 😎 I like that
Thanks for checking them out!
Cool product
I like how they are continuing to improve the product offerings. Thanks Rusty!
🤘🏻🧨🥃
Thank you!
Made in China? Can’t find where they are made on the website so I’m assuming China🤷🏻♂️
Didn’t find them offering the answer either. Great question!
Honestly, they are pretty pointless if you keep your knife in your pocket or in a pouch bc they aren't going to glow bc they won't be getting any light in your pocket.
Depends on how you carry to enjoy your knives. The Glow Rhino tritium doesn’t need light to glow.
welcome "glowing thumb studs" made for all the 8 year old EDC people
