Hey Nate, just discovered your Joy Techniques album, and just wanted to say you have created one of the most unique and incredible sounding albums I’ve ever heard. I’ve had See God, Bare Your Soul, Ascend Straight to Heaven on loop. Seriously the coolest guitar piece I’ve ever listened to, please keep it up!
Fucking love this album. I've been having it on replay in my daily drive for nearly 4 years now. So much of my life has had joy techniques as the backdrop to the moments I've experienced. Thank you for that
I was obsessed with the original recording with Terrace Martin, but this live recording is a spiritual experience for me. I love that you guys slowed down the song and Nate and Carlos are amazing as usual, but Josh Johnson injects his own flavor and absolutely transforms the song. For me, this feels like listening to John Coltrane's Out of This World for the first time. I loved seeing you guys at SF Jazz with Idris Ackamoor, but seeing this performance in person would be something else. You guys are at the forefront of Jazz and I love everything you put out Nate. Please never stop making music.
You know this world is pure shit, when a video like this only has 1.6k views. God bless you Nate. You motherfucking genius.
Word!
music is not valued how often is played, but i know what you mean..

Some of my favs right here! Love this!
You have got to be the most melodic and most musically musician I have ever heard!
Keep it up Nate, you're killing it
Amazing tones - your filter is so lush and full sounding. Really sounds amazing.
Hey Nate! How do u get that guitar sound? Amazing 😍
Just great ❤
The only thing that could make this better is if the entire 14 minutes was an intro to the beat drop at the top of the original version
🔥🔥🔥
