It's great to see all the modules working together! Such a neat bunch of mechanisms, kudos to you and the other collaborators in not only making them, but also making them work together! I'd guess that getting them to transfer cleanly is half the work, and probably gets done on-site, not earlier ☺
Why are the Japanese modules always so much cooler than the American ones? Nobody ever themes a belt lift over here. Oh well, at least we have a 6-foot Ferris wheel.
That's the *first* time I've ever seen any American/European-type modules in a Japanese GBC! The American/European modules tend to be mechanically simpler, probably for ease of service. Japanese modules tend to be mechanically complex, which are cool, but if *one* thimg breaks, that builder likely has to spend HOURS taking the module apart to fix it.
I have a question: i want to start building gbc mudules butt is don't have those balls in those size. So my question is: where can i buy those foot/basket balls or just balls in the correct size?
Escalator, Railway System, Catch and Release, Six Heads, Manji, Pink Rocker, Aqueduct, Spiral Lift Type 2, Strain Wave Gearing, Basket Shooter, Fork to Fork and Snake Slide, Bucket Wheel Tower and Marble Run, Archimedes Screw Type 3, Egg Process Machine, Flywheel Launcher, Archimedes Screw, Ball Launcher Type 2, Rotary Car Dumper, Geneva Drive Type 1, Archimedes Screw Type , Wheel and Steps, Cup to Cup Type 2, and Spiral Staircase.
I had the impression that the tables weren't as level as the ones used in akiyuki's demonstration videos, or the constant stress of operation breaks down a lot of akiyuki's fine tuned builds. There were a lot of ball collection points I noticed, largest that comes to mind being the six heads (5 heads?) right at the beginning. They should have leveled those tables better for you akiyuki! Great builds besides. I like how you dominated the event by quantity and style!
You truly live in a different world/culture in Japan than in the west. That 0:50 swastika would never have gone down well in an American lego-con, or lord forbid it a Central European one. I know of the differences, just pointing it out. That said, it is always interesting to see the "history of akiyuky modules" that these videos end up being, with some spice provided by how they interlink with other people's designs, both in the litteral sense and in the grander design challenge of the order that the modules go in.
Thats not a swastika, its a so called manji. In Japanese slang, manji now has an array of meanings. According to My Navi, kids say it when they’re taking photos like the English word “cheese,” and it’s also used to refer to mischevious or excitable personality. As with the the original character, which can mean mercy or good fortune, its slang version has various definitions. It’s not to be confused with the Nazi swastika, which certainly could happen. This character is the manji. www.google.de/amp/s/kotaku.com/the-buddhist-swastika-becomes-popular-slang-in-japan-1822404738/amp
FELIX Same symbol, different meaning. Just as i said, different culture. Not good, not bad, simply problematic if it was done in many other places. Call it the Swastika or the Manji, the symbol persists even if the symbolism does not.
If you saw those big black boxes with yellow knobs, those are battery box type things that go into power function motors. Each one has their own (because they need the amperage) but there are some exceptions, some use mindstorm (sometimes multiple), though I didn't see those in this video (didn't finish), while others use but in battery boxes, namely the train modules.
I might to remember that the Sunwheel from hindu or buddism religion have a golden color but the german cross is still black.. that's german humor🤣🤣🤣 crying while laugthing🙄. Btw that Moc iss engeniering at this best, only a genius can create that stuff in that perfection you got my highest respect👍
No Face its not a swastika. Firstly, its mirrored and secondly, the module is called manji. In Japanese slang, manji now has an array of meanings. This is genuinely one of the best things I’ve seen. I was transfixed. GG.
I'm honestly blown a way that a train system with junctions and a pressure system *you* designed makes the entire GBC SELF SUFFICIENT!!! Incredible
What an display of amazing engineering! Thanks so much for sharing this with us!
Wow it’s so awesome to see all of your contraptions put together like that. All of them better than the other. Cool stuff!

This is great! The kids around must love it.

Really excellent. I could watch it forever. :]
Love that elevator module, you have made me want to build one :)
Magical as ever!

All by Akiyuky 😆
Another amazing GBC.
0:46 I am a german... do I need to say more about what this reminds me of?
Let's play "did akiyuki make this?"
That basket shooter is next level
I have a question: i want to start building gbc mudules butt is don't have those balls in those size. So my question is: where can i buy those foot/basket balls or just balls in the correct size?

Donschnulione *German music intensifies*

EERRRIIIKKKKKA
I've seen the original video for that train car rotator module, but it looks so much cooler here in action

Ball Launcher Type 2 so amazing ^^
It's dominated by Akuyuki
If you look at the US one during the tour 99% of the time they say this one is based on an Akuyuki idea/ design.

plus japan was part of the nazi axis, so the uncritical handling of a swastica is espacially bad.
germany guy here. this is just a no go.

LucAs Bune its not the same symbol. The nazi swastika is turned clockwise, not counter-clockwise
Ah, so they are. Do forgive, it has been long since i saw either last.
Can any one display at this event? Is it open to international exhibitors?
Awesome !
Nice new machine types
cup to cup type2?!
It's sad that Japan GBC mostly just Akiyky's units.
It feels lonely. Playing a online game that only few are still playing...
GBC Rails, Modules, Etc.
So cool!
cool!

0:50 ooooof oouch that’s not going through youtube’s filters in one piece...
0:41 oh no
how is this powered? does it have like an adruino board? or rasberry pi? or does it come with prebuilt motherboards and you just connect them?
Probably all just LEGO Mindstorms
If you saw those big black boxes with yellow knobs, those are battery box type things that go into power function motors. Each module uses just rotational energy and turns that into other types of movement
0:47 Im a simple German. I see a reversed Hakenkreuz i press "Gefällt mir"
You're a fucking Nazi.
Willst du mich eigens komplett verarschen
Und ch will auch wieder mit Lego bauen 😰
0:42 you are japanese and then that thing so you are german?
The Nazi swastika came eons after the Buddhist one

0:49 is quite embarrassing...
Indeed, it's embarrassing that you know nothing of the symbol and you think it's a swastika. Please educate yourself :)
LordDragox412 I wasn even saying dat it wuz a nazi symbol y u has 2 be mad
Time Pasteque you're implying it is
TF2 scout memes As a random dude who doesn't know this culture because I have a life somewhere else, I can say that it is embarrassing
Time Pasteque. Could you please explain why you think it's embarrassing?
That swastika might not be that appropriate....
