- Over The Line explores the world of inline skating from the perspective of skater Tom Scofield. Once regarded the fastest growing sport in the world, rollerblading all but disappeared from sight not long after it’s peak in the early 2000’s. Die hard and committed athletes like Tom maintain their focus on building the sport back up to again and pushing it to another level.

This is the pinnacle of what it means to be into action sports. Very inspiring 👏
"The social side is the most important part of it." I disagree, really. I think the the most important part is getting out there and just skating. You don't have to do any jumps over stairs or grinds down rails. Just going with wheels under one's feet, that feeling is timeless.
I think the most important part of it is getting up their street skating and you know having fun
I also disagree as I've been skating alone for like 6+ years now :'( lol
@@AceMaverick Join the club! Haha over time I've developed roller friends but we often meet infrequently. I still go out and skate on my own about 90% of the time.

Very well put together video... make me remember starting when I was 11 and I'm 37 now so just got back into it after not skating for 30 years! That sense of freedom is priceless!

35 and haven't done it for 20 years. Getting my new pair of skates tomorrow. I picked up skateboarding again too and I'm going to bring both with me every time I go to the park.

aaah I disagree. The adrenaline feels similar to amphetamine in my opinion. I've done all drugs except heroin and pcp. I feel its similar to speed. I don't really like a huge rush of it tho as it makes it hard to breath and makes your heart skip a beat, I prefer just a mild buzz. But yeah this calm and serene video doesn't capture the essence of what it's like to be on hard drugs 24 hours a day. Sometimes I don't really know whats going on, I feel like I'm on the moon. See now I'm thinking is there a way to pretend to fall on skates and grab a womans a**? That would have been awesome in the video along with some rock and roll. Sexual harassment and rock and roll! I'm sure the guys at Weightless Films would get angry and say oh we'll call the police, but I'll pretend to fall and put my face into a womans thing for the video. That would be awesome! I might do it anyway.
