    in Norway they come prefilled and you have to look over it and see if they're correct. If not, you can easily make changes over the web.

      I've heard of many better ways to process tax returns. The Norway method sounds wonderful compared to Canada. Should we start a petition??

    Ive always hated how they know everything but make you figure it out for yourself. Just send me a letter with all the info and save everyone time and stress

    There are tax credits that CRA doesn’t know about like the moving credits and the medical fees credit (besides the portion that is paid by employee & employer on T4s) so there would be missing tax credits if CRA filled out tax returns for some individuals. Plus, doing your own declaration lets people understand whats going into their tax declaration and gives them some sense of being « in control ». Too bad people just pay others 60$ to do it for them when there are free resources, understanding how to do your own taxes is good general knowledge and helps build financial literacy
