I recently started my first DnD campaign after being somewhat interested in the lore of DnD for a couple months. Since it had been a while since I watched DnD stuff on youtube, i wanted a sort of roleplay guide to stats to get ready for the campaign. I think I remembered this video and looked for a stat comparison between creatures. I am shocked your channel is not more popular, this format is really cool to me. I found one other guy who made similar vids for dex and str, but nothing for the other stats anywhere. Hope one day you'll get around to making similar stuff for charisma and wisdom, I bet it would be interesting! And since it seems like you read your comments, have a nice day as well.
Great video! I've been wishing for a comprehensive guide for intelligence for a while since it's the stat I find most challenging to visualize when acting out creatures. 12 - 18 were especially helpful
A friend once offered a simple bellcrve for bellcurve 10 int=100 IQ. I don't think anyone could really understand the sheer genius of a full 180 IQ though.
Fucking great video! I loved this whole explanation and will help me when making my homebrew monster catalog! You sir, earned your 600th subscriber! But can you do more D&D content, as that is what I mainly would like to see more of?
My new camera just arrived today. Once I get the chance to test it out, I should finally be able to make videos again. And yes, I'll be talking about DND.
I'm glad you enjoy them! I've been extremely busy with moving lately, and videos take a long time to make even when I'm working on them. I'm also struggling to find a way to reinvent this channel so that it's more fun for me to run, but I do have an idea for my next video.
I'm makign a robot character and his AI makes him obviously much more intelligent than most of the population, however I can't seem to pin down what exactly his INT level would be. He is a sentient robot with free will and his AI is quite advanced so he can act very naturally, and he has the intelligence of an advanced computer so things like logic, calculations and memory are very easy for him. Currently at level 3 the highest I could make it was 18 and I'm wondering if that makes sense for a robot INT or if it's too low. Have any advice?
As said in the video, these INT scores do not apply to PCs, for you cannot pretend to be smarter than you (the player) actually are. Your INT score will affect your INT checks made to recall or understand things, and that's all the intellectual representation your character needs. (this is my main account, btw. If you don't believe me, I can reply as The Void.)
Given those choices, gotta go with 28. I way too frequently forget my NPCs names. EDIT: But, if I existed in D&D's world, my INT would probably be 12 or 13, assuming that each point of INT can represent IQ values in factors of 10. (mine's 123, as of 2018)
Huh, had no idea you played DnD ever need any new players? As forever DM to my group of friends I've always wondered how dnd looked at other tables that aren't critical role.
Once I move into my new house, I would like to invite people over for D&D. I used to play online all the time, but I've gotten sick of doing it and would rather play in-person from now on. I would only play online again if I got a group of VERY flexible and agreeable players with good webcams, mics, demeanors, and an understanding of the rules.
Hello this kinda weird question but are you the chat ai bot called man in the corner after the roleplay it held a rly good conversation and when i ask for socials it let me here?
@@tibby7709 It's been difficult. I bought a house, held a couple garage sales, I'm taking depression meds now but they don't seem to be working, I was drawing a couple different graphic novels for a time but I lost the motivation to do either, etc. Next week, I'm gonna clean up my studio and then I'll try to crank out some new vids.

I do read my comments! And this video has recently surged in popularity, so I've begun doing research for a sequel. It will take a bit, though.
This is _exactly_ what I was looking for
Randomly stumbled on this but found it very informative. Even though it's been a year I woukd be invested in seeing the other stats done up

The most amazing stat description video.
Bro, it’s crazy. How good this video was how do you only have like 600 subscribers 😮

Yo man, do you plan to upload again in the future? I found the channel last week and have been watching your vids nonstop

Can we have one of these for all six
Good video.
After watching that I have a question: as a DM, is your Intelligence 28, 29 or 30? Also the examples for int 0 got a chuckle out of me.

You're right, that IS a weird question. So weird that I have no idea what you're asking.
