I hate how DC is essentially wasting Miss Martian, she was fairly prominent since her introduction up to the reboot in ether Teen Titans or guesting in other teen hero books, and short roles in a bunch of crossovers, then she got massive exposure through the Young Justice animated series, where she got lots of focus. Essentially after Jaime Reyes she's probably the most sucessful teenage character they've brought in in the last decade and yet they've done NOTHING with her since the reboot, now with Teen Titans being canceled and the teen line doubtlessly being revamped that might hopefully change soon but it's ridiculous they didn't strike earlier while the iron was hotter.
Well, I know she's really popular at DC, before the new 52 there were actually rumblings about building her character to the point that she could shoulder a solo series, which is something I would really like to see. I think they've taken her out the spotlight so they can angle and launch the events that lead up to that correctly.
ItsSuperEffective god I would love that, granted Im not sure if it would last too long, but hell I would buy every issue as long as it does and I do think the fundamental core of M'gann's character is strong enough provided she would have her own supporting cast and stuff. I kind of envision a Miss Martian ongoing as being one with a healthy mix of Drama and more fun comedic moments, like it wouldn't be especially lighthearted, the drama would be real serious character stuff but it also wouldn't shy away from you know M'gann as a sweet, naive and eager to please teenage alien girl and the hijinks that comes with that. I wasn't aware she was well liked in the upper elchlons of DC (well other than Geoff Johns who created her so obviously likes her) though I was aware that a lot of writers seem to like her, even when she wasn't on the Titans she was still visable cause she had guest appearences in other books fairly frequently. She's only been around for like 7 years and there are already like 3 or 4 distinct versions of her. I do guess that they might be waiting till Mars stuff is more defined hell even now I don't think White Martians have even been mentioned in the new 52. Which is of course very important to her character. Hell pretty much the root of much of the distinction between the various version's of M'gann (New Earth, Earth-16 and whatever the Smallville Earth is) is that White Martians and what being a White Martian means is different in each of those universes. Which of course leads to things going very differently with her. Who know's what they'll do in the New 52. Id guess they'd ether go with something close to classic warlike evil White Martians or do something completely different than every other universe though.

Personally, I think that Earth-16's Miss Martian is pretty awesome. Instead of the Three Stooges, it's an entirely fictional show called "Hello, Megan" and she takes on the 70s persona in her human form. She also is very afraid people will find out she is a white martian. I think they portray life on mars to be a littile different though as she reveals that she and one of her many siblings, a brother, are white martians in a family of green martians. Of course, I'm talking from Young Justice and what I think they revealed about her past.

Watch the animated movie "Justice League Crisis on Two Earths" it does a good job explaining it. In the New 52 it's made much simpler because they focus on the Prime Earth, which is just the regular earth; Earth 2, which is an earth where Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman died, and DC uses it as a place to focus on many of their golden age characters; and lastly Earth 3, which is like a reverse version of the Prime Earth, where the Justice League is evil, and characters have reverse personalities.

The DC universe is actually a multiverse, which means there are parallel universes that are interlinked. Each universe has its own version of earth that has its own cast of characters that seem to be very similar to the main DC universe, but they are also drastically different in personality.

Hi. Every comment you just left was about the Young Justice cartoon, NONE of that happened in the comics, and this show is about comics, not cartoons. The Young Justice cartoon was heavily inaccurate and was just an all round bad representation of the characters it used.
