I agree, the lines around his muscles make Savage He-Man look very dirty. This set doesn’t make any sense in the context of Revelation: he shouldn’t even have the sword as an accessory because the whole point of him becoming savage is that he didn’t have the sword! And yes, he should have been larger and bulkier like Skelegod. If he had been the “hulk” he was supposed to be, I might have picked this up, but now I’m passing on it.
I can't help but echo sentiments that it should have been built on the larger Skelegod body, or maybe a unique sculpt, because the cartoon rendered him as HUGE and his faces as SAVAGE. This just isn't there. Between that, and Orko, it disincentivized me buying this pack. I need a big, Hulked out He-Man, with fists, without Orko, without the Power Sword, to tempt me to purchse.
I know I'm late to this video, but I think this He-man looks great. It looks like they went for his original look from the mini comics. I might have to get this figure, maybe with Mirage Renet from the Turtles, there could be a way to get a TMNT - MOTU crossover going with this figure.
I couldn't pass on it. It was $14 at target. I'll just tell people it is a Tarzan figure🤣 They should have given Orko at least single jointed elbows. So we could pose him as if he were casting a spell or something. I also picked up the regular He-Man for $10. I'm going to swap his head with the alternate head that comes with Viking He-Man.
The main ding is the lack of a rage face...the default face is entirely wrong. I think it is more of a Masterverse figure than a Revelation..otherwise he'd be hulking.
Been looking to pick these up since they're cheap right now. I want to paint He-Man's hair brown and with the spear weapon he can be more of a "Tarzan" custom.
This figure can be made into many customs, I just saw him turned into a Conan the barbarian by painting his hair, loincloth and wrapping cloth around his feet. Thus would make a great Tarzan and that wild character from Marvel. I have this set on the way
I would of taken a solo Savage He-Man if he were bulkier like the cartoons version of the Hulk & they could of put Orko to another toy that could sell him like Scare Glow vs Orko.

Pulled the trigger mostly for orko, heman is meh, needed to be a bigger scale. Figure anxiety got the better of me here. Went on a preorder for cyclops as well.

motu revelations a huge disappointment and miss opportunity for the motu. The mini comics inserted in the motu origins was more entertaining.

I think maybe included different styles/colors of flight stands and multiple expressions of Orko you could probably do a singles pack 🤔
