Gotta give the Bond franchise credit… they spent a fortune making loads of films with Sean just so he’d be ready for his career defining role in Zardoz. 😂
I always loved how the first couple of Bond films would have him scope out his hotel room for bugs and set up simple things like the hair on the closet to tell him if someone had been in the room.
I’m a child of the 80’s so I mostly grew up with the Moore movies. All of the Connery and Moore movie were regularly on tv and no matter how many times we’d seen the we were happy to watch them again.
Absolutely awesome stuff. Thing I find frustrating is 1 year beforehand was released an action adventure. Exotic locations (Europe, Turkey, Greece), amazing fight sequences, car chases, shoot outs, the suited baddie with minions, the spy clues, great cinematography... yep: Tintin and the Golden Fleece, Tintin played with exceptional athleticism by Jean-Pierre Talbot. Basically had everything that Dr No had bar a very, very important thing: for all the shoot outs it lacked the "adult" subject matter.
I went to the Valhalla Cinema in Glebe, Sydney expecting to see The Creature from the Black Lagoon in 3D. Was a week late. Didn't notice until the film started. Dr No.
I just started rewatching the Stam Fine James Bond Experience for no reason yet on the same day I get the start of the Stam Fine James Bond Experience ReFined? Admit it, you just wanted to say "Albert R Cubby Broccoli" again.
Dr. No's death is one of the best ever put on film. Him getting lowered into the boiling reactor water, unable to climb out because his mechanical hands can't grip onto metal surfaces. His radiation hazmat suit only prolonging the agony by keeping him alive for a little bit longer.
"Blasted! If only I designed these hands with rubber grip!" Still, more dignified of a death than what was originally written in the book (where he dies getting buried in bird poop).

That was rather jarring at the time.
This review was Fine. Stam Fine.
Connery doing 'She Shells Shea Shells'. Laugh out loud hillarious
2 Bond film reviews at the same time?! "Shocking. Positively Shocking Mr Fine" 🍸

Brilliant version of the title sequence.
Where was the Dalek version of the theme?
Slight correction ... Ursula Andress is indeed dubbed in Casino Royale. By Nikki Van Der Zyl, who dubbed her in many 60s and 70s movies.
I loved "Darby O'Gill Murders Little People" as a child. ❤

Fine aces it again. Some good Friday night laughs
G'day Stam! 👍
This Jimmy Bond guy seems interesting, too bad he never got a sequel or was ever heard from again lol

It’s a fine movie in its own right. Parts have aged, parts never worked in the first place, but it’s good.
6.18 😂😂 brilliant!!
Honestly think this is one of the best Bond films ... 2nd after from Russia with love ...
In the recommended side bar... It's a second Stam Fine Bond review today!

More fun, more more more please.
6:17 I cracked up. 😂
It hurt like hell because I'm currently recovering from a chest injury. No regrets.
Big Tam worked his way to this from his Edinburgh days rough upbringing as a barrow lad. Yikesh.😅😊
10:30. Roasting Seans lisp with that tongue twistet
What would "Dr No" have looked like if Cary Grant had accepted an offer to be James Bond or Noel Coward, Dr No?😂
"Tell me, does the toppling of American missiles really compensate for having no hands?"--James "Ableist" Bond.
Not the best James Bond film... that would be, OHMSS... but my favorite!
👌
C’mon: Shpoiler alertsh.
when are we getting Dr Yes
6:18 - 🤣
4:05 😂
Algae ribbons require upwards of seven words, so here.
Shan’t name?
SHEE SHELLZ?
Is it me or does Dr. No kind of look like Patrick Stewart, maybe it’s his stuffiness or his chin, but they are similar looking
It's you
It’s not entirely you, Stewart has pronounced upper eyelids
Sean always looked forty-ish, I mean...
I'll take Die Another Day over the last 3 with Craig any day
No gadgets but he does request a geiger counter just saying.... Does it count as a gadget
