This is a BMW E36 325i cabriolet 1993 model with a manual transmission. Exhaust is almost stock. different rear muffler and removed the muffler before the final muffler :) Sounds pretty good to me! Love driving this!

Love the sound of the straight six, non-turbocharged, engines. I did own a E36 325i myself. Thinking about buying one again... Now driving a 2017 BMW 430i. Really nice car, but still missing the symphony of the good old straight sixes...
Ditto on that one. A couple years ago I bought a beater 1994 325is and it was slow as hell but I fell in love.
Due to my time with my 325 is, I bought a 2004 m3 because it's a more sophisticated, faster e36. Miss the noise though. The s54 sound is just weird no matter what you do.

I had a bostongreen E35 325i Coupe as my first car. Bought it 2006 and sadly had to give it away at 2013. Between 2 months it changed from good condition to a driving wreck :/ even the cloth from the roof (inside) was coming down.
I will always remember it, mostly for the unique sound. I enjoyed every second of it. The little resonance at 1800 rpm.... :,)

My dream car
I own a E34 525i and the only thing done to it is a flow master muffler which is nice. But I want a more raw sound like this. Perfect amount of rasp at the top end👍🏼

I fitted a single 63mm pipe from Y-section back, with just a racing glass pack silencer. Didnt lose any torque and it doesnt resonate at low rpm because the gas moves too quickly, but we dont have German Police to worry about here. :)

This video makes me miss my old 325i... I have a e36 328i sport at the moment but it sounds nowhere near as good. I know a m50 mani and a sports exhaust somewhat makes it sound a bit better but it just ain't the same...

Hey. On my 325i the rear muffler is swapped out with some aftermarket, supersport I think. And the small muffler before the final muffler is removed :) M3 sounds even better with good exhaust! Good luck

How much would your engine last with a hard driving like that?
With regular oil changes it should last a long time
M50 last very much with this drive style if you oil service are around 4.000-6.000km then no problem he will go over 500.000km and more without problem,have a same engine 👍🏻
I hit nearly everyday of the week in my m52b28 that’s never been rebuilt and I’m at 220k.
