There was a lot of comment about Leeds having a small squad. Isn't it true that we have the smallest squad in the Championship? The possibility of injury issue was going to be an issue, and now we see it happening sadly. The bench is looking a bit depleted. Daniel took players off for fear of exhaustion/injury. If you have a few injuries out of any teams first team in the championship will result in the same. If Hamer and Roque got injured for Sheff U they'd be fucked.

The squad has good depth imo, I just hope Farke plays them to get upto game pace. Here and now. Chucking them in for 5 mins at the end of a game like last year is not enough when u may need to rely on them when push comes to shove at the end of the season. This is why we have a squad. If I was Rothwell, I'd be furious if you brought in Kramer to take his place. Not that we would in any way be willing to do his wages.
Michut will not sit on the bench for us and he's trouble as well as not all that good. Lopes is meh. I'd rather have Crew and recall Darko if needed.

Farke just said he doesn’t usually like free agent signings, but he did admit we need to wait for Gruev scan, so it might not be a full no. That being said does anyone know if you can sign them on a short term deal like 6 months?
Love your output Locky but why can’t we change tactics (yes I know FarkeBall says no) why can’t we use Tanaka or Rothwell as a single pivot like Kalvin Philips and would allow probably a better utilisation of a number 9 because FARKE seems to have no idea how to service a 9
This is how Farke used to play and it's been a real surprise he has played the double pivot.
Rothwell & Tanaka did well
they were both tidy but there was no control in the double pivot
Watched a fair bit of Rothwell in the past, needs some minutes to get upto game pace but he's good enough for what you need right now

All this talk when we could just call in players from our youth system those that are on loan or in the current youth system. No wonder this English football system is so flawed and you can’t produce a winning team internationally. Why would you gamble on free agents when you’ve got youngsters raring to go. Darko could sit nicely on the bench right now at a fraction of the cost and without upsetting the locker room.
Why was Gray given so much patience but other players with more or equal ability are scoffed at? What a strange fan base this is. Free agents are not a good idea they are free agents for a really good reason believe me.
