- Burning diesel fuel is the last resort for the OTAT (On Three Adventure Truck). I stop on my way home to fill up with vegetable oil and run into some problems. I also show what my solo truck camping setup looks like.

Yeah but regardless… ya always wanna stop. This is where situational awareness is paramount. I love those laser led road flares (three is perfect), a white reflective PT belt and yellow reflective gloves, a small rechargeable light and chemlights is my go to for basic visibility. Nice video and love the truck!!😁🇺🇸👍👍

That’s type of bed I’ve always wanted on my work truck. Never seen one with a camper top on it . Was hoping you’d get a shot from further back . Good thing you had your work shoes on . Someone else is going to pull over in that area and get a craving for fries . 😁 Used to know a fella that was using the oil before it became well known. He built a filter system and storage in part of his garage. Ran a separate tank in the truck as well. Not sure why . Good video. Have a good one

Is it difficult to convert to biodiesel? Does it smell like French fries going down the road as I’ve heard tell? Thanks.
I don’t use biodiesel. It is filtered veggie oil heated by the engines coolant. Yes, it does smell like French fries. Sometimes chicken wings. Ha!
Yes, there is an in depth process to convert to run on veggie. Adding an additional fuel tank in and of itself is a fairly large job. Now that it is done and working, it is great.

Yes. Definitely. No changes to the engine but lots of plumbing is required.
