    This is the dance/ballet training I’ve had coming out.
    Something that is very important is that you don’t want to have static stretching. It’s best to be semi-warm just before stretching. Without a warmup, it’s easy for the muscle fibers to tear because not much blood flow has gotten to the muscles yet. (It’s kind of like trying to stretch a dry sponge). Some quick little warmups are jogging in place, high knees, jumping jacks, etc. (something that gets your heart going).
    Sometimes I stretch at the rink just before getting my skates on, but I find myself always doing some high knees because I cannot always get completely warmed up with my skates on.
    Anyway, this is a really great start for stretching.

    I just came home from the skatepark with my muscles extremely tight. I watched this video and did the stretches along with you a now I feel much better. Thank you!

    Great routine. I’ve been trying to get my flexibility back. Also. Could you do a video on doing an illusions on skates?. Like how to slowly progress to a full illusion ?

    I've officially realized that since I'm not in the club yet and not allowed to compete, I'm at the bottom of the pecking order. I was booted off the floor when a coach wanted to teach their student spins when I was already there doing figures. Oh well

      @@ThatNicoleFiore Yeah , there was a lot of people so i didn't want to do any dances and the figure circles were taken up, so i sat off the floor until my friend dragged me on. I was probably in the way anyway, and he did it again too.
