No hate but Miss Bohol's answer has more depth to it and it represents women or anyone going through the same thing, and she is a symbol of hope to them, for people who kept on trying despite the judgement of one's body, being doubted. She looked confident and calm as well.

I love Ms. Bohol's response because it is one of the reasons why other candidates continue to enter this pageantry to prove themselves despite all the shaming and hurtful words, but those words can't take them down because they have the eagerness and determination to succeed.

We all rooted for Bohol and Pasay but the thing is Bohol made our hearts melt when she answered the question, it’s just that Pasay won the competition harder with an overall score. We are very satisfied with the results but I hope Bohol could be first runner up at least.

I think at this point, Pauline joined again aiming straight for the crown, Tourism Charity 1st or 2nd runner up doesnt really have a difference to her. She just want the crown.
I also find Bohol's answer genuine, honest, sincere and relatable. We can also relate her answer to so many things in life- especially that part of not giving up despite all the bash and failures. The way she answered the questions thrown at her since then is not very pageant-ish, hndi parang minemorize lang o para nagmukhang matalino.
It's just that Pasay won the overall score in this competition, and she truly deserves it. So no more doubts and questions about that. She's even the crowd's favourite ❤️. But for me, she didn't nail the Q&A portion. Everyone can have a very heart-touching and genuine answer just by simply using your family/parents as a topic. Pero mukhang may chance sya sa MU Top5 with her aura. ❤️
Let us remember that the org's goal this year is to get another top 5. So QnA is their least priority. They want a girl that can breeze through evening gown and SS competition in Miss U stage
I beg to disagree. Pasay nailed the final Q&A because she was able to touch the hearts of the people in the venue, as well as those watching at home. Also, the 4 other girls gave answers that were about themselves, while Pasay answered what was in her heart and what she was feeling
@@102082toshi Besides mas nakakarelate tayo dun sa part na dahil sa pandemic di natin mabisita family natin or relatives kung nasa abroad ka. At that moment, mas relatable yun kesa sa body shaming ni Bohol. Besides, body shaming isn't on the MU org's top platform. Sierra Bearchell has already opened that talk, but look at Anchille's platform last year. They didn't buy it. So hindi nila bibilhin ang story na yun.

Bohol's answer might be the best amongst all 5 finalists, but for some reasons, Pasay's statement touched me the most. I think her answer was just so direct, honest, and pure.

Actually, feel ko si Miss Bohol sana nag firs-runner. Miss Makati sounds too confident that come across slightly arrogant specially when she ended her answer in Tagalog….It doesn’t sound sincere pakinggan.

Many people would disagree about her being the winner when in fact Miss Bohol is the one who nailed the question and answer portion. Yes I agree with that but I find Miss Pasay's answer more genuine, honest and sincere. It is simple yet people could relate to it. Miss Universe is not about knowing how to construct words perfectly, it is about being relatable to everyone. Yes Miss Pasay uses simple words because of her being not great in speaking English yet her answer was gold. See you in Miss Universe 2022 stage Celeste Cortesi!
No Big deal with Bohol’s Emotional tone. She was actually not clear about how she was bashed. No details or concrete idea. She spoke on the premise that people knew who she was. I had no idea she was bashed or that she is fat. Until she degraded herself by saying that she is Fat and therefore unworthy of being in the Top 10.

Tinitake into consideration ang performance sa buong competition, pati yung impression na iniwan ng kandidata sa mga judges. In a world where everyone answered the judges with "I am your next Miss Universe because I have this determination, I have this I have that and no one else can have that except me", be someone with "I miss my mother, and be kind". Seriously, nakakasawa na yung puro kala mo katapusan na ng mundo pag di nila nakuha ang Miss U crown. It's a breath of fresh air to hear someone answer it simply.
Bohol could have been the first runner up with that answer, Taguig started well, but just got lost in the flow ..but the girls look very well prepared. Good luck from India

It depends on the question though. Misamis got a question about her insecurities, Makati’s was about her greatest fear, Bohol’s was about her life-changing decision. Pasay’s question was easier to link to family.

Pasay deserved the MUP crown for sure. She's the only the candidate who did not mentioned universe in all her answers even being asked during Top10 interview. The questions are actually simple and kind of tied with what they can say personally and the rest four candidates (Makati, Misamis Or., Taguig, & Bohol) all stated their response with their journey to being individually competitive as the next Miss Universe Philippines, as if their lives depend on it. While Pasay answered that if she could stopped time she will earned it with her family without even mentioning herself and being focus on her dream, a selfless response. That's why she won.
Hope she can top in MU stage. Bka matulad nman sa Ms earth.

Bohol may have won if the pageant is solely based on q and a. Pasay has the overall package, she may have not a remarkable answer during the q and a, but she answered it with sincerity and she stuck to her core; additionally, her answer is the only one that didn't dwell about pageantry/Miss Universe. "Uniquely" beautiful indeed.
But this is a search for Ms. Universe where judges based on how phony the answer is. Lol 😆 🤣
@@roxie7453 Yes, but nasa MUPh pa lang to, so MUPh strategy lang muna ang gagamitin mo. The questions are really pageant 101 basic questions na easily tinatanong sa mga training camps, napakalayo sa real MU questions about social / political issues. So Pasay's strategy was right. Answer it simply and try to stir emotions the right way.
You can feel Miss Pasay genuine answer. I also love Miss Bohol, it's very strong like a cleaner mindset.

Both Bohol and Pasay gave a sincere answer. But I think Ms. Bohol really nailed the Q&A, both top 10 and 5. It was just a matter of who did best in overall performance, and Ms. Pasay did. I personally rooted for Ms. Bohol, but the crown is definitely in good hands. More polish na lang sa Q&A, and we can win and bring back again the crown. And I really hope Ms. Bohol would join again, ang galing niya talaga. Who knows? Maybe she can win the crown the third time around, just like queen Pia. 😉

if you want to cry there are so many soap operas and reality shows. The judges that night were rejecting the cry cry catriona cry strategy, which is employed by girls to allow them to speak slowly and think of what to say. She sounded bored talking about her Body Shaming story.

Miss Bohol has a very good answer but Miss Pasay answer the simplest but the strongest core of human heart, which is to be with her family. There's lots of things to do when you stop time pero siya to be with her Mother, hindi nga naman niya nakita in COVID19 and we may not have longer lives to do so. While Makati, Taguig and Misamis Or., walang ibang bukambibig kundi maging the next Miss Universe.

Kumbaga sina Miss Bohol, Makati, Misamis Oriental at Taguig.... with their lines of responses, it's so obvious that mas pinili nila ang kaligayahan to chase the crown, ang pagiging above all else, being MU queens. Pero si Miss Pasay, her answer revealed her true personality na mas pipiliin niya ang precious time niya with her Family to be with her Mom. Siyempre mananalo ang mas compassionate sarili at pamilya above someone who wants to have everything para matawag na pinakamaganda.

Sometimes you don't have to explain what you do and you don't have to be the best in everything, you just need to be yourself and that's what Ms Pasay shown to us all. The reason why the question are just that simple is for us to see that beauty pageants are more than just Q&A. All of them four explained to the point it seems they reached extra mile just to get the crown. But Ms Pasay answered she just only need to be with her family if she has the opportunity to stop time, which sets aside her dream and other personal priorities. To those who said Pasay has the most sincere answer, well of course sa kanya nataon yung tanong. And automatic na yan, family talaga kahit sino naman pag malayo ka sa family mo. Pero if it happens na kasama nya family nya, she will definitely answer differently. Miss Bohol is very witty and beautiful. She is perfect with her body. Why does it bother others? Si Catriona nga, di rin naman as perfect as the other candidates, she was also bashed by other countries, but because of her wit and charm, she ended up being the MU. Iba na yung natural ang pagka witty and charming. Mahirap i-train yan. Look at our past MU reps, with all the beauty and sexy body, di pa rin nanalo kasi sumabit sa IQ and comm skills. With IQ and comm skills, kahit di ikaw pinakamaganda at pinakasexy, if you can create great impact with your words, mapapansin ka sa MU and you will become a darling of the crowd.

Congrats to the top 5 ladies! Based on the crowd's reaction, the audience agreed that Bohol was the winning answer and they were looking at the new Miss Universe Philippines!!!! She even got Pia all choked up for a few seconds like I did! I was feeling down when I watched this but she gave me a jolt of encouragement after her answer! You can still achieve your ultimate the second time around!!! Such a quotable Q&A answer! Epic and iconic just like her prelim interview! She created a moment both in the prelims, top 10 and top 5 with her interviews that should have more weight than the SS and EG performance if the judging is fair.

Based on q&a, yes, Ms. Bohol might've nailed it more than Ms. Pasay did and Ms. Bohol might have won if this was in the actual Ms. Universe Pageant, BUT, they will for sure face a different question on the actual MUP. This pageant is actually a preparation and selection of who deserves to represent us in MUP. The judges may have just considered other intangible factors to choose Ms. Pasay. So let us not just base everything on how a certain question was answered in a given situation because we never know, hypothetically if their questions were switched, maybe, Ms. Pasay might have given a better answer than that of Ms. Bohol's.

Maganda answer ni Pauline, but she did not shine as consistently in the other rounds like Celeste. I missed out that person who really stunned me. But I only remember the lady in red. Watching this it was no doubt Miss Bohol. Her answers speaks so much of her strength. Judges tho was only looking innermostly of a person who's well put together just like a queen. It's couragesly why the crown landed on her head.

Idk for some reason mas na dadrawn ako sa beauty ni Bohol . Although she has white skin she doesn’t look like a westerner. On the other hand Pasay is also very beautiful but has very western beauty. Her face is something that we have always seen in Miss Poland or Miss Czech republic. It’s no brainer that Bohol always aced the Q and a round. I was hoping she won. Join again next time

🥺💖I do not know but I became teary-eyed with Pasay's answer. Her question was very simple but she gave the most heartfelt, not sugar-coated and not well-practiced answer either.
I also noticed that she answered it very smooth (no stutter, just her Italian accent). I knew she will win Miss Universe 2022 since the Prelims. Thank God.

I personally think Bohol had the best answer. But I also had the feeling judges might not choose her just because of her impactful answer cuz Makati and Pasay both had better overall performances. Not be to mean but Bohol’s overall beauty is noticeable inferior to Makati and Pasay.
Also, i watched this with my dad. When Bohol came out, my dad immediately says, oh she is not that beautiful, and really told that she is too “wide” on screen and he thought Makati looked best and Pasay second.
And I could immediately tell Bohol will not win despite her good Q&A. Cuz ultimately, it’s a beauty pageant not a speaking show, sadly and ironically.
Pasay was just the perfect fit this time. Beauty, body, walks, styling, personality, sincerity and gives surprises on stage. Everything on point.

Parang recently lang nakita namin siya sa mall, maganda si Miss Bohol, pero you are right medyo ang wide niya tingnan sa screen pero in-person ang cute niya. Siguro pag sa screen medyo may added wideness ang body type natin. Also, gawa rin siguro ng styling kasi in person, naka-bun yung hair niya kita ang leeg, making her more slim pero ewan ko ba sa stylist bakit siya pinaglugay tapos kinulot pa. Kaya ang wide ng shoulders niya tuloy :( minsan yung mga suggestion ng stylists, mga palpak eh.

MU is a brand, a symbol of utmost fashion and beauty other than being a spokesperson. If she fails to impress in her beauty aspect, or to meet the MU organisation standard(which we dont know how), then being able to speak well alone is not going to take her far in the competition.
