Thank you for the fast reply. Once I get panels welded in and worked out, i was planning on sanding the entire truck and blocking it out. I enjoy the videos you are making. They are very helpful, just wasn't sure if I needed to remove clear coat completely. Thank you.
I'm getting ready to install cab corner and rocker on a 2001 dodge truck. I'm going to have the truck painted but I'm prepping the truck. Do I need to take all the clear coat off the truck or can I scuff it. Truck is getting primed and total repaint. Thanks
Scott Burns If entire truck is getting primed , blocked, and painted you can sand entire thing in 320 grit. Use a red scotchbrite for the hard to sand edges
Four Fields Furniture I have used the Universal Clear, Euro Clear, Turbo 2k primer, and both waterborne and solvent wax and grease removers. I have not found anything I don’t like. Ships to me in 2 days so it works great for me

I hope to have some of it painted this weekend. I wish I could paint everything at the same time but there’s just not enough room
Coming together sir.

I really like the spi epoxy primer. Have you used any of there other stuff other than the primer?

When painting the doors, did you take the glass out of them? or masked the glass inside of the door?
Jmac
I take it out. Basically just a door shell
