Tony...we are Holy in Christ positionally and sanctified... Christ separates us, and Christ gives us a position for God’s purpose in holiness. This is all done freely by God’s grace and not by our works (Titus 3:5). We cannot sanctify ourselves. Only God can sanctify and make holy. Believers are already sanctified in Christ (1 Cor 1:30). All that remains is for us to be who Christ has made us: set apart for God’s purpose! By the which will we are sanctified (made holy) through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

As someone who Truly Respects pastor Gino Jennings, I can speak when I DISAGREE with something he teaches and back it up by scripture as well being a scholar of Gods word as well. For one, CHRISTIANITY IS NOT A RELIGION, ITS A FAITH. Paul made it very clear in Acts 11:26 that "THE DiSCIPLES WERE CALLED CHRISTIANS FIRST IN ANTIOCH". In this passage of scripture in Act 11:26 Paul had left Jerusalem when the Jews had sought to kill him, and went to Tarsus, the place of his birth. Barnabas went to Paul, and brought him back to Antioch were Paul taught the people the Word of God. Before this church that started in Antioch, the Christians were either called "Israelites, or Gentiles". The thing that separated the Israelite from the Gentile was circumcision. But now they were both believers, and Christ became their circumcision. They were now called "CHRIST'S MAN'S"which is to say, "CHRISTIANS". It all started at this church where Paul was preaching and teaching in Antioch. They were followers of the way, Christ. If you notice it DIDN'T Say the disciples were called: Catholics, Mormons, JW, 7Day Adventist, Buddhist, Muslims, Methodist, Pentecostal, and so on.... Its clearly states that the disciple were called CHRISTIANS. Understand that DISCIPLE is where we get our English word DISCIPLINE from. Simply meaning that just as the 12 chosen Disciples were Disciplined in the Lord, In our lives today as soon as we except Jesus (YAH-SHUA) as Our Lord and Savior, we also become disciples, that is to say those that are disciplined in the LORD, meaning we are to drop what were doing in our fleshly and worldy lust and lives, and follow Christ, just as was instructed to each one of the 12. Christ told them to drop what your doing and follow me, and each one did. Of course this is not saying that we hold the same roll as the 12 that walked with Christ in the flesh, but its spiritually speaking in the sense that when we except Christ as our Lord and Savior you should expect that the things that were important to you in the world that was really vain and empty things you should want to drop those things out of your life and be a new creature in Christ and being about the Fathers business and truly being Blessed. ITs easy to confuse people with word games, but the Word of God is abundantly Clear. The disciples were called CHRISTIAN. So to be a CHRISTIAN and CHRISTIANITY is the same thing, How? to be a CHRISTIAN is to say the your a "CHRIST MAN" or "FOLLOWER OF CHRIST" (no gender intended man/woman) Therefore CHRISTINITY is Simply The Faith of those who FOLLOW CHRIST - - We are CHRISTIANS because we follow Christ...Therefore our FAITH, (NOT RELIGION) IS CALLED CHRISTIANITY SO THE TRUE FAITH IS MENTIONED IN THE WORD, AND IF YOU UTILIZE COMMON SENSE LIKE GOD EXPECTS YOU TO DO YOU CAN SEE VERY CLEARLY THAT ITS CHRISTIANITY. CHRISTIANITY IS JUST IDENTIYING WE WHO ARE FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST. THIS IS SCRIPTURAL FACTS AND WOE TO ANY MAN TRYING TO LURE ANY OF GODS CHILDREN AWAY FROM CHRIST AS WE ARE CALLED BY THAT NAME AND WEAR IT PROUDLY. IT DIDNT SAY THAT THE DISCIPLES WERE CALLED HOLINESS. THE CHURCH (THE BODY OF BELIEVERS) IN SCRIPTURE WAS ALWAYS CALLED THE "CHURCH OF GOD" NOT "CHURCH OF HOLINESS". The Word Says "Be Ye Holy as the Lord your God is Holy" - - Holy at all times is what God want us to be, and He's calling on us to be Holy but as you know we don't always behave in a Holy manner in the flesh in this world even as Christians we fall short sometimes, that's why you better be a Christian who is in the Faith of Christianity because what do we have that no other religion have- We have a Savior that is Just and Righteous to forgive us when we do fall short. Take Note, there were even certain disciples that didn't act in such a Holy manner and had to be chastised
One thing I love about Apostel Jennings is that when he finds that what he does is not in the Holy Scriptures, he corrects it and does right. This man truly desires to follow God with all his heart.

But there are a lot of churches that teach that it's about a relationship, not religion. Many Pastors no matter the denomination understand and teach their people that God cares nothing about denominations. Most of these denominations started because of different interpretations of the scripture. For example, the Baptist church started because others did not believe in full body baptism like in Jesus' days. The most important thing is that a Pastor rightly divides the Word. So, I guess it would be fair to call it a Holiness church. Gino is making a good argument biblically, but the average person will not understand the nuance. They will just use it as ammunition.

I was just talking to my sister about this lmbo. I told her just because I attend a Baptist church doesn’t mean that I am a Baptist. Religions were created by man not God. I even asked her to take me to the Bible where it talks about God creating all the different religions? A Christian is holy, because to be Christian is to be Christlike, and Christ is holy. He is not speaking about not being Christian; he's speaking about the religion of Christianity; which is not found in the Bible.
We surely agree that we should be Holy, but before one can be Holy they must know what Holy is. The word holy has it's origin from the word whole, meaning nothing missing. This is why the Spirit of God is called the Holy Spirit, because once you receive the whole understanding of the scriptures there is nothing missing. Christ is called the seed and most would agree that the seed is in part--- so is Christ Holy? We teach that Christ is part of the whole-- not the whole. Just as a watermelon seed isn't the whole of the watermelon, neither is Christ the whole. The seed is missing a very important part called soil, this soil is the help meet unto the seed to fulfill its' wholeness. One can't have a watermelon without the elements of the soil and neither can Christ be made whole without the soil. The seed is to be hidden at the resurrection of its' fruit, just as Christ was covered by his fruit. The Spirit of the Lord was upon its' seed, just as the watermelon covers its' seeds. If we aren't covered by the Spirit, then we are not made whole, because the flesh of the word is only a part of the whole.

Tony...we are Holy in Christ positionally and sanctified... Christ separates us, and Christ gives us a position for God’s purpose in holiness. As someone who Truly Respects pastor Gino Jennings, I can speak when I DISAGREE with something he teaches and back it up by scripture as well being a scholar of Gods word as well. For one, CHRISTIANITY IS NOT A RELIGION, ITS A FAITH. Paul made it very clear in Acts 11:26 that "THE DiSCIPLES WERE CALLED CHRISTIANS FIRST IN ANTIOCH". In this passage of scripture in Act 11:26 Paul had left Jerusalem when the Jews had sought to kill him, and went to Tarsus, the place of his birth. Barnabas went to Paul, and brought him back to Antioch were Paul taught the people the Word of God. Before this church that started in Antioch, the Christians were either called "Israelites, or Gentiles". The thing that separated the Israelite from the Gentile was circumcision. But now they were both believers, and Christ became their circumcision. They were now called "CHRIST'S MAN'S"which is to say, "CHRISTIANS". It all started at this church where Paul was preaching and teaching in Antioch. They were followers of the way, Christ.
If you notice it DIDN'T Say the disciples were called: Catholics, Mormons, JW, 7Day Adventist, Buddhist, Muslims, Methodist, Pentecostal, and so on....
Its clearly states that the disciple were called CHRISTIANS. Understand that DISCIPLE is where we get our English word DISCIPLINE from. Simply meaning that just as the 12 chosen Disciples were Disciplined in the Lord, In our lives today as soon as we except Jesus (YAH-SHUA) as Our Lord and Savior, we also become disciples, that is to say those that are disciplined in the LORD, meaning we are to drop what were doing in our fleshly and worldy lust and lives, and follow Christ, just as was instructed to each one of the 12. Christ told them to drop what your doing and follow me, and each one did. Of course this is not saying that we hold the same roll as the 12 that walked with Christ in the flesh, but its spiritually speaking in the sense that when we except Christ as our Lord and Savior you should expect that the things that were important to you in the world that was really vain and empty things you should want to drop those things out of your life and be a new creature in Christ and being about the Fathers business and truly being Blessed.

But there are a lot of churches that teach that it's about a relationship, not religion. Many Pastors no matter the denomination understand and teach their people that God cares nothing about denominations. Most of these denominations started because of different interpretations of the scripture. For example, the Baptist church started because others did not believe in full body baptism like in Jesus' days. The most important thing is that a Pastor rightly divides the Word. So, I guess it would be fair to call it a Holiness church. Gino is making a good argument biblically, but the average person will not understand the nuance. They will just use it as ammunition.

Holy Glorifies God not self. Holy leads souls to the Salvation given by the grace of Jesus Christ. Holy makes disciples of men. Holy is God a state men cannot attain because we're sinners. We strive to be Holy but we may never reach it. Think Paul and his thorn. He had it to keep him humble. Gino has no humility, but calls himself Holy. Holy doesn't challenge others to debate. A Christian is holy, because to be Christian is to be Christlike, and Christ is holy. He is not speaking about not being Christian; he's speaking about the religion of Christianity; which is not found in the Bible.
We surely agree that we should be Holy, but before one can be Holy they must know what Holy is. The word holy has it's origin from the word whole, meaning nothing missing. This is why the Spirit of God is called the Holy Spirit, because once you receive the whole understanding of the scriptures there is nothing missing. Christ is called the seed and most would agree that the seed is in part--- so is Christ Holy? We teach that Christ is part of the whole-- not the whole. Just as a watermelon seed isn't the whole of the watermelon, neither is Christ the whole. The seed is missing a very important part called soil, this soil is the help meet unto the seed to fulfill its' wholeness. One can't have a watermelon without the elements of the soil and neither can Christ be made whole without the soil. The seed is to be hidden at the resurrection of its' fruit, just as Christ was covered by his fruit. The Spirit of the Lord was upon its' seed, just as the watermelon covers its' seeds. If we aren't covered by the Spirit, then we are not made whole, because the flesh of the word is only a part of the whole.
