The passage is about the Son coming by water and blood, ( meaning not just a body but a complete man) The One spirit bears witness of that, and that one spirit is described as- Father, the Word, and The Holy Spirit,
The Father is the only one who testifies of the Son, His Word and Holy Spirit is what he uses to testify of his Son with” that’s why the 3 are One Spirit, not 3 Spirits, and The Word isn’t The Son but The Father!

If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.
( Son doesn’t bear witness of himself Son the Word bearing witness of him isn’t Him but part of the Father”

When Jesus was being baptized and a voice from heaven said; "this is my Son, listen to Him", modalism implies that God lied, there was no Son its just him.
