One thing I've noticed with a lot of these different "Spidey Tech" videos is, while they're cool and interesting, they are not very practical in game. A showcase like this is very helpful especially from someone who is grandmaster and I know isn't just showcasing interesting tech but stuff I can genuinely execute on the field. I really appreciate this video and will be referencing this now when training with spidey!
Glad you noticed it! That's one of the reasons why I made the video. Even sometimes the combo that I showed in real-game footage isn't exactly identical, but you can get the idea of it, on how you can use it in the most scenarios.

I've been practicing the kidnap combo since Christmas, glad someone else found it too. One thing though, you can do it off of airborne not just through jump but midair after swing. Swing/jump- tracer - hook - jump&hold melee(overhead) - uppercut cancel - swing tracer cancel - hold melee(overhead), followed by another jump - tracer - overhead if needed and close. Holding move left or right helps stay close, double jump backwards is most consistent to not bounce off. It pops 250 within half a second if you cancel overhead uppercut swing tracer fast enough, if you see spidey extend his hands for a split second the melee cancel was correct. If the tracer doesn't finish 250, bc healing or more health, you're setup for a tracer overhead, and a second rotation after too since uppercut resets your jump.
You can also of course use venom teamup ability to finish any part of the combo. Landing tracer into pull is hard but way more disorienting and safer for spidey, especially if you pull it off midair after a flank swing.

I’ve manage to make the one hit combo to work, but I do have trouble with the upper cut making them both bounce in all sorts of directions and being vulnerable for quite a while, but really satisfying to pull off when it works.
btw you can also cancel strange portal when he is casting it using the get over here, so on defence I like hide until I hear him casting I pull him and it uses his cd
I Main spider.... but on console. Man... I rarely hit the second tracer after the uppercut. Mouse accuracy is way better, I wish there is another good strategy or better aim assist for console spiders :(
I feel you brother. Spidey is a fast paced character, which is the reason why he is so hard to play, especially on console. But that doesn't stop you from playing him! You can do it!
How spiderman kills you: M1, shift, M1, space, space, M2, F, M1, E. If you are full health and a decent healer you'll likely survive. How hela kills you: M1, M1 You might even die while being pocketed.

When you engage and uppercut, you kinda need to predict the direction where the enemy is going to fall, and you need to move in that direction to track their movement, so your hits can land.

Against Namor, I normally ignore him when he has his octopus around and let the teammates deal with it, then go in after that. For Peni, just don't go in when she is around her Spider-Nest (or pull her out) and pretty much just kung fu her down.
I don't know the exact detail on how to play on console, but if you picture WASD as the directions of the thumbstick, when you web-swing, you will need to move forward to the right (W+D) in this case, when you web-swing towards the right. When you web-swing toward the left, you do the opposite direction.
@ wait i tried to do that but there is 2 thumbsticks in the practice range before I made this comment and I had got it a few times but idk what I’m missing to get it consistently maybe I have to move the stick in that upper right hand corner and hold it there I’ll test it
I’m diamond 2 spider man and have a question for you. Is there a reason why in most of your combo enders you use sticky then melee and not in reverse? Sticky cancels melee so you do your combo faster, or have you found it less efficient?
If sticky means web, I web and the melee to deal more damage with Spider-Tracer, so if they got healed or some sort of extra health you will be able to make sure that you have enough damage to finish.
Does slam really do 40 damage? apparently yhe kick (punch1 punch2 kick3 ) is 40 damage but web, kick, web, upper doesn't kill 275 but web, slam, web, upper does
After some testing, you're right! I couldn't find any data on the slam damage, so I just assumed it's the same as the kick (40 dmg). But when I test again, the kick dmg took almost 2 bars of health (1 bar = 25 health) that's 44 dmg (+10% of the seasonal dmg buff) and the slam does 2 bars and a bit more, which is 55 dmg (50 dmg without the buff). That's my bad, thanks for pointing that out!
I'm personally really upset by this difference because it means that my tech of (prefire punches) > (bhop web+kick)> web > uppercut is almost entirely useless except for that one case where a 250 target gets a 10hp heal or something
So I’ve made a macro on my keyboard, so if I press the key 4, it does the whole: F, shift, web, punch in a short sequence. I’ve my F down to a 0.2 sec delay, so it actually doesn’t do the whole animation before continuing.
I don't know if I understand correctly. The combo should be like this: F , Shift and web, then punch. I don't think the macro works like the same as you do it manually.
@@malgob2403 sure! I got a Razor keyboard, and I use Razor synapse to make them. I go into Macro and make them there. It does usually require a few takes and I’ve to manually tweak the delay timers in between the buttons.. and then you can get into some fun stuff like during the uppercut animation it actually doesn’t have to go fully through before doing the next thing. Sometimes it’s easier to just have a portioned being macroed.. like in the one hit combo, I right click and use "e" myself, otherwise it becomes very dull fast.

you can also jump and use an overhead swing cancel to get the slam animation so you dont have to double jump

It's mostly the preferences of the player, but I recommend a bit high because he's so fast, if your mouse is too slow you can't react in time.
