Oh my GOSH! That is gorgeous! I loved your book stacks and the fact that you staggered them some so that the snow would be on different levels. This is one of the prettiest displays I’ve seen. I’m doing my first Village this year 2020. I’m so excited! Thank you for sharing!
I was skeptical when I realized you didn’t have a white blanket to cover the books, but I was wrong ! It is so pretty!
I am doing a forehead slap on myself right now! I put my village display on a bookcase. I take all the books off, struggle with finding somewhere to store them for the season, and then set up the village. Now, thanks to you, I can keep some of the heavier, larger books out and use them in the display to create different heights. Genius! So happy I came across your video.
I'll be honest, I was a little doubtful about how the books would look when you first showed them. But the final result is beautiful.
My daughter watched with me and she said it looks like you are sprinkling magic when you sprinkled the snow... Beautiful display.
Absolutely beautiful! I recently started to place my frames on top of old books to add different heights and interest. I love how you randomly placed the small sleighs, the idea of placing a train with a few tracks, and using trees to cover cables. Love everything you did here! Thank you for another great video! It is such a treat to watch your videos, thank you Christopher!
Just when I thought I had seen every way of setting up a village, I found something new. I LOVE your ideas!!! I have had my village for about 20 years, and although I enjoy it (or I wouldn't keep putting it up) I have never LOVED it. It is so time-consuming, and it always looks messy. I am heading to the thrift store right now to buy some old books. Such a classy look, and so much easier than the clunky ways I have tried to give it different heights. Great job!
Great way to display a collection without a long expanse of space. Wasn't sure about the books, until the snow was added. Beautiful and so creative. I suppose choosing books with pleasing covers is important. Great job!
It never occurred to me to allow the books to show. I have always gone to great effort to hide them. It is charming to allow them to show. So sweet!.
This is simply wonderful!!! It reminds me of a friend’s father collection that He put up every year when I was younger. I would stare at it for hours.
Hands down, the very best Christmas village in all of you tube land! LOVE, love, love that you did't hide the books with batting, but used the lose snow flakes instead! Just love it!!!
Hi Christopher your village is absolutely beautifully the snow is a bit messy to clean but that is what makes it more beautiful and real please don't change that is gourgeus you my friend are an artist thank you for sharing
Bravo!!!! I love this. Yesterday I stopped into an antique mall near where I live. There was a vintage antique Putz Christmas Village. I bought about $200.00 worth of it which included a lot of the buildings and bottle brush trees. I plan on going back in there and buying a few more pieces as he had them scattered all around the store. My Great Aunt had a big set of the Putz. I had completely forgotten about them until I saw the village display. I just hope I can make it look half as good as your village looks. I like the idea of the snow. I am not sure about the snow though I have 2 cats. Because of them I almost didn't buy any of it, but I hope they will look at it and then leave it alone. Thanks for the ideas. Even though my buildings are a lot smaller than yours and made out of different stuff they hopefully will look as good.
What a beautiful, cozy village! Thanks for sharing! 🎄
Best village display EVER. So glad I didn't spray mine white as is the rage these days. Thanks so much for sharing. The books are genius, and somehow add heart.
Some of the houses look so real, so well done.
Oh, how absolutely beautiful. It all came to life when you added the snow. So so beautiful. You are so creative! I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next. Tfs 🤗
Really beautiful. I could NEVER use the snow as I have 3 cats that "own everything" and would evict the village people upon close inspection! lol
My mantle is 20 feet long , wall to wall, above my fireplace (built with my village in mind when we built the house)...and has built- in outlets for light cords, I have about 30 large scale
houses...love villages!
Wow! That's awesome! Great idea to have the outlets near for the display.
D H Have you ever thought of doing a video? I bet it looks AMAZING!! I would so love to see it .
Ooooh myyyy Gawwwd, your home is gorgeous. All that beautiful brown natural wood 😍😍
So beautifully done. The idea of having all the lights on a couple of light strings is brilliant. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise and techniques.
🌿🌹🌿
I almost cry at the end of the video, so beautiful I love your work
Wow, your Christmas Wonderland display is amazingly beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
It hasn’t even been Halloween and I’m already watching Christmas mini villages videos 😂

Im gonna put my tree tomorrow up.😂😁
AGallstar Films Same here 😁 already taking totes out of storage shed, can’t help myself !!
Same!
Same! My daughter's birthday is Nov. 18 and she won't let me put up decorations until then, so I'm getting ready lol
The books add such a lovely magical touch.
I would have never thought to use a space like that to place a display, so creative and beautiful!
I've shared this one with my family. Can't wait to copy it this weekend! pause ⏸ play lol. such a charming village
Beautiful Village! Thank you Christopher 💕👏
the fact that, thats the only decore in that wall it makes it more special. I am not a fan of villages anymore but this one does make sense, cause there is nothing else around it, well done.
its great.
I always add my Dickens books in with my Dickens Village collection. Your display is very pretty and elegant. Thank you, and Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Your village is beautiful! You have inspired me to put mine out this year; hasn’t been out for years sadly.
Just do it, enjoy it and be happy. Marry Christmas ☺
crt1975 yessss!!!👍
I am loving your Anticipating Christmas series! This is a gorgeous display. Thank you!
Absolutely gorgeous! I've never displayed all my pieces because I couldn't figure out how to do it. Thanks to you...I think I can do this. Thank you!!
Super cool! You got the absolute 'most' out of your space. Love the set pieces as well.
Absolutely adorable! Love the finished look 👏
I loved everything about this video. You’re a true artist, it was almost like watching you painting a picture.
love love love this! thank you for the idea! i think i am going to use this with my spooky houses! stack them on old books turned spell books with creepy cloth draped instead of the snow!
Christopher, hermosa quedó esa village, yo pondré una de esa en mi hogar está navidad. Gracias por compartir tus ideas! Lo mejor de esta vida para ti!
L👀ks beautiful! Great idea👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼! Thank You for sharing.💞
Very nice...my snow scene is 28 feet long..I always put either a sheet or a snow drape down first so everything is white then I sprinkle chunky glitter...clean up is much easier because you can roll up the glitter with the sheet or snow drape and throw the glitter away...unless you want to save it for the next year. I like raising the houses up on books but there again I would cover it with snow drape....Thank you for sharing you did a lovely job...keep collecting items as some will be hard to find later in years to come.
I like the neatness and the idea using books to create elevation and different levels.
Hi Christopher, another fabulous job thank you for sharing.
Looks so beautiful, love it, Thank you for sharing!!!
That is so beautiful great job love using the books idea
I can never get enough of watching this video. It’s so cute and I do a large display every year but this is just right......
This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your talents and not being a snooty designer who think Christmas villages are lame!
Very cleverly done. You inspired me to get my village out of storage. Haven't displayed it for several years.
Very beautiful job love how that came out. Thanks for sharing ideas ~
I’ve nearly the exact same shelving note I’m inspired, thank you so much, the little touches are the best
I felt the same as Pamela Green but was pleased with the end result; excellent work certainly gave me some ideas for mine. Many thanks, Christopher. Thank you for considering others, you could have enjoyed this without guests, but I am glad you shared.
What an awesome set-up!! Thank you for sharing!!
Beautiful!! Never thought of just using the sprinkled snow! I always use cotton batting!
Exquisite! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talents!
Lovely. I love using the books. I will try to use that tfs.
Oh, this is so beautiful! I have about the same number of pieces as you and would love to display them similarly, rather than spread them out over a large area. This will be my first year displaying them -- I picked up a few on sale last year and now I'm searching for ways to display using a smaller footprint! Thank you for the inspiration!
I better start checking Walmart NOW for the 5 Bulb light cords! Thank you for this!!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL and GORGEOUS...😍😍😍
Love, Love, Love the village arrangement.
Adorable and beautiful 👍🏻👍🏻💜🙏🏻👵🏼🤗
Fantastic. Very talented you are. You have a beautiful soul and brilliant mind. Thank you for going through the trouble to do this. You have inspired me!!! God bless you.
Beautiful. Love the look with the book exposed.
Watched it again, and love it more than I originally did! TFS
I’ve been doing these for years, good idea with the books...
So beautiful and a feast for the eyes!!!!
WOW, never thought to use books and also the bookshelves on top. I have 10 houses and I'm crammed them up on my table which is a little wider than what you're using. Also I did not know that they have one string with so many light bulbs. I have a whole bunch of cords and extensions cords. For sure I will look for those plugs. Thanks Chris.
Now I'm inspired to use my many, many books! Thank you!
Thank you! I watch this at the end of June...but I have had a terrible, terrible night...and this helped to cheer me up. I'm stunned the books worked so well! Brilliant! You did a wonderful job. I hope you don't mind my saying you are a very handsome young man!
How beautiful, thank you for sharing ♡
Thank u for this idea I have so many light houses and didnt think to do it like this I love it

Outstanding! I was a little skeptical at first but you did a fantastic job.
Beautiful village and smile ❤️. You are talented.

Beautiful Christmas Village 💕
Yours is the best Christmas Town. I enjoyed the music and video very much. Great job! 🎄☃️❄
Awesome job! Love, love, love it!
The books complete the storybook fairytale effect. It might be a well known displaty practice, for the little I know, but for me it was a pleasant surprise. nice display!
Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful
Absolutely beautiful & magical….❤
Absolutely beautiful Christopher!
I had tears in my eyes ... it's truly beautiful Chris, congrats mate ... Merry Christmas from Down Under
You make me want to create a Xmas village for sure this year, it looks so fun 🤗💖🤗TFS !
I am thinking about setting up a smaller version this year. Great job!
Christmas is a unique moment. it's great.
I wasn’t sure about the old books application at first, then when I saw how you brought it all together in the end it turned out quite charming. Kind of like an old Shakespeare type xmas display - if that’s even a thing I don’t know, lol....but I like it.
I love how you incorporated the books! And the fine snow almost looks real :)
Nice but where's the people in the village?
Precioso ese pueblito navideño! Me encanta, muchas gracias por enseñar y compartir.
I love it! It makes me wish that I lived in a small village like that lol
I LOVE seeing various options for display-- I think yours is lovely! Nicely done. Loved the video start to finish.... TFS and Blessings to you from the Great Pacific Northwest, Lakewood, WA! (think south of Seattle-- and BETTER!)
