Watercolor Tutorial WASHINGTONIAN PALM

Painting A Washingtonian Palm in watercolor is easy if one holds the brush mid way in the handle and makes decisive quick strokes. It is important to observe how the fronds hang and fold. In the Washingtonian Palm the fronds hang like an open fan and fold at the ends.

Thank you for your palm tutorials. They helped me a lot with learning how to paint palm trees. Where I live there are no palm trees outside but only in greenhouses and so they are mostly very small.
