Please correct me if I am wrong, but I think the rocks are placed to stop sand erosion. However, if it's a private beach then perhaps purely for aesthetics.

Your watercolor technique is great! I think the reason you haven’t had that many views is because the thumbnail should show the finished painting so people will be excited to look at the video. I went back and looked at your older videos. They are fantastic. But I wouldn’t have looked from the thumbnails shown. Such a good artist!
