The Herring Girl from Ray Lonsdale has arrived - what an unveiling!!! Brenda Blethyn OBE (adopted Geordie 'Vera') did the honours with support from school children in fine voice. Ray Laidlaw and Billy Mitchell bought the Lindisfarne flavour and the sun shone bright. Re-live the day here 😃👍
