  • Yamaha SCR 950 Scrambler Cafe Racer design concept by MPC Custom Motorcycle Designs.
Step by Step animated modifications from the original base Yamaha SCR 950 to the modified version.
The most parts used for the design concept and modifications are modified original parts of the base bike or parts available via aftermarket third party vendors. The majority of the modifications for the build are cosmetic. Engine, electronics, suspension and breaks remain OEM spec.
The video of the design concept and build of the Yamaha SCR 950, shows step by step the modifications, starting with the base bike all the way to the modified version to showcase how the look of the bikes change in the process.
This should also help with estimating costs for a specific build.
A detailed description of all modification and parts used for the design concept and build can be downloaded via the link below.

I love my SCR 950. I converted it to a adventure tour. Works for me on gravel roads and forestry roads. but cn still get on freeway. It is underrated.

Same! I love my SCR. I've had it since 2018.
Wish I could find en exhust for it.
All the available ones are so expensive!

Very nice, have you more information about the color? I like the copper based blue color, so where i can order or who is the producer? Thanks 😊

Missed the glaring obvious...the length of the wheelbase, it needs a complete redesign from the rear cylinder, backwards, new shorter swingarm, monoshock, etc! Then there's the weight issue, start at the front, and work your way rearwards, Honda XR600R Talon hub, XSR700 fork lowers(for Beringer radial caliper mounting conversion), alloy fork clamps,etc...40kg needs shed! Chain drive conversion needed too, belts sap too much power! Look at the bike from the rear of the tank forwards, and from there rearwards, you'll see the design flaw!

2:29 Looks good but impractical. Mind you, the original isn't so practical. The torque figure you quote is peak torque and it comes in at 3,000 rpm, not 8,100 rpm.
