The Leader board is great but I really like the guys at Ketch.
We do too. But Ketch and YakAttack are bother great companies and both offer great products for the kayak angler. The leadership of both companies openly communicate and have a great relationship

Are the mounts the Leaderboard made to exclusively fit their board or will it accommodate the Ketch boards?
It will just fit the geometry of their board

Most of them are. I think the LiveScope Mount and the LeaderBoard are the only ones they haven’t finalized yet

All I know is FALL 2023. Most of it is supposed to be available by September
Went to their website, can't find any of the new items you have shown. Is there another site they have them listed. I know the rods are in a different spot.
These were Prototypes. That’s how a lot of products are at ICAST, they won’t likely be available until September

Chad do you have any advice for people trying tp get into the kayak business? Working trade shows or working with kayak companies?
I actually plan on creating a few updated videos on this, doing a podcast (or a few) about it and even offering a course to go over it extensively down the road. I got my start in the industry by working trade shows very heavily and it helped me meet contacts, learn to speak in front of people better and really learn to hear the voice do the customer through the questions that they asked. That said, I’m not sure that’s the route I would advise people to take today. Also, it depends on what part of the “business” you want to get into and what role you are trying to achieve

Would this new yak attack Measuring boards be allowed in KBF events?
Yo Chad!! You will let Yakattack know we need a longer black pack. That 16X16 just doesn’t cut any more. We need something like 16x30, that would be sweet. Also, it would need to be able to hold at least 16 rods, 😂. But seriously though, 🤔
That’s probably not going to happens due to the size of the mold needed to make it and the limited application for it. However, you could literally just use two by doing a 16 x 16 and a 13 x 13 or 16 x 13 in the back and you would be pretty close.
Some great products I just don’t understand why you wouldn’t be ready to take to market. Waiting months will cause them to lose sales. Just my opinion because I want one now 😂
This is how the industry works. They do a “Trade Show” to allow the dealers and distributors to place their orders so that they know how much demand to anticipate, how much raw materials to order and they also go to get media and promotions to build up demand before they invest in all of the things that I mentioned before. I know what your are saying is intuitive, but the way its done is better for the companies to minimize risk.
