Great to hear that WOS sting; such a shame the theme to ITV's Midweek Racing isn't available

The distinctive voice of Raleigh Gilbert, who along with John Penney was one of ITV’s secondary racing commentators, Graham Goode being the main commentator and was at Epsom

Seemed very busy for a small course in Yorkshire.
I suspect more people thwn usual turned up at Catterick just so they could say they were on TV.

It was just a WoS break sting from Don Harper, who was the show's musical director from 1968-83. most likely performed by The Pandora Orchestra.

Just reminded me that (then as now) disliked watching horse racing, so would always turn over to the sports programme not showing it.
