Why is it the these hairstylist in these tutorials always use a mannequin's hair that is previously cut similarly to the style the hair stylist wants to cut it in. In real life people have haircuts that look nothing like the styles they come to the hairstylist for.
Trying to use the maniquin as much as possible cause if you go from long hair immediately to a buzzed cut you basically wasted the opportunity to do the mid length hair styles
I agree. Don't like mannequins!

I used this tutorial to cut my own hair and I could not be happier with the outcome!! I mean for my second time cutting my hair I think it turned out great. I learned a lot that I’ll be utilizing next time. Like how one should be careful when going back through to even everything up, not to take off too much...😂
The first run through was great. Blending the lines between the sections definitely took off more than I anticipated. 😂 lesson learned!

I would love to try this on my MIL! I do another one of your pixie cuts on her and she loves that. I love the fringe on this cut and the youthful texture to it but with her work idk how suitable a fringe would be but I'd love to try it on her hahaha.
