My friend from a small village near Kumbakonam pooled money from well wishers and family members and did kumbabhishekam for their family temple in that village. As a customery action, they informed Hindu aranilaya thurai about kumbabhishekam and related activities. For three days they had arranged functions and called renowned artists. Aranilaya thurai insisted them to include Parveen Sultana in the list of the artists. So, there is a possibility that DMK should be behind this drama so that now they can pour oil to the already burning brahmana dwesham in TN.
It is clear from Kanimozhi's comments that TNK has political backup of DMK. Instead of " Sangita Kalanidhi", an award of " Sangita Karunanidhi" is an apt one for TNK. If politicians start interfering into arts and music, you don't have to surprise if Music Academy name is changed to Muthuvel Academy in due course of time. It is really " KALI KAALAM"

He's way too arrogant & blunt for a seasoned musician. It's very obvious he's a stooge of the TN Dynasty and wisely making his transition from being a musician...to a politician. Conferring the coveted award to TMK is an insult to Indian music tradition. Kudos to all artistes who are expressing dissent.
Music Academy ethis & values have eroded over time just like The Hindu under NRam.

Its not the time to argue about Brahmins and their values- its about highlighting Hindus and the unity of hindus against the so called dravidians- who only stand for muslims and crypto christans~ the debate shouldn’t be brahmin centric rather it should be hindu centric.
