What an awesome doctor talking about his parents, and it's time to give back. 😢
Indeed! I'm smitten! lol!
You can tell a lot about a man's character by the ways he talks and feels about his parents
Anyone else get teary eyed when he did? Lol
He’s such a beautiful man. Such a good person, obviously a devoted son & an immensely caring & genuine doctor. I think he’s just lovely!
@@PenelopeloveschickenAbsolutely. Shakespeare describes how the child becomes the parent & this is what Rob is experiencing. He’s so genuine & caring, yes, it sure did bring a tear to my eyes. Imho, the world needs more Robs.
Louder pop than I expected when that knee went back in place.
I know right?!? I flinched and I’m a nurse 😮, but I never worked in orthopedics or A&E!
Dislocations going back in can be louder and more violent than people think. It's pretty gruesome but it's the only way.
Same! 36 years in nursing, but I never worked A&E and I always groan when there's a dislocation!
I had to walk that off, and it wasn't even my knee!
When I had my first dislocation, my patella poped right back in place when I extended my knee. And it was a really loud pop, like a crack of a whip. Since then I’ve had multiple dislocations, not only in my knees, but elbows, thumbs, shoulder, jaw. I’ve got issues with my connective tissues. It’s called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. 🦓🤍🖤
When that Beautiful Doctor told the story and said and Now it’s time to GIVE BACK..put a tear in my eye!! I wish they made duplicates of that good Doctor!!
Perhaps they can clone him❤That would be great! He’s a good man!❤
A heart breaking story. Ho is a truly remarkable young man. The loving care and dedication he has for his grandmother Amoui is so rare in this world today. As for his Beautiful grandmother Amoui may you now rest in peace 🙏❤
Grandson was amazing. Grandma was so lucky to have had such a caring young man. May she rest in piece. ❤❤❤❤
Good job Ho ❤
Ho-your grandma take all time care of you in life and now from heaven-she never let you alone.
Ho you were loved by her so much and she is now watching you and still loves you and helping you from heaven and she new you were their with her the entire time it was so very touching to Mr my grandma stayed alive until I got to hospital and I held her hand said grandma it monica I am here and you no how much love you and I have for one another if God is ready for you and your ready I be ok and keep your memories and your love going for others and 5 minutes later she passed other family were already there and my uncle still say mom and grandma was waiting for you here your voice and your touch and kiss and you say I love you grandma I be ok if you go be with Jesus and once she new she went because she wanted make sure you were going be ok you were first granddaughter and her baby girl always so this touch me ho seeing the love you snd your grandma had
yes
Ho is a lovely young man. His grandma would be proud.
The grandma hit me hard. I too had a very spunky and strong grandmother that lived to 100 years old. She unfortunately fell and broke her hip and died very soon afterwards. I miss her dearly and she has been gone for many years now.
My understanding of Vietnamese culture is that it's a matriarchal society. Moms & therefore grandmas rule the family
Ho is a good grandson, taking care of his grandma. Bless him. Prayers for the family 🙏❤🙏
The father of the boy with the bad toe is a wonderful, patient man! Much respect!
I so wish I had a dad like the kid with the toe! I hope he realizes what an awesome Dad he has before it’s too late
He does have a great dad but I can see why the boy doesn't remember the grandparents names. My sister is all about the family history though I see some flaws in her rational. She sprouts all this information and I just close down, I've heard it all before over and over. I'm glad she loves it so much but enough. I feel the boy is much the same as me. He's heard it all too many times. It's a shame but that's the way it is.
That entitled 17yo was sooooo disrespectful to his father. I’ve raised two sons and they would NEVER be allowed to act like that. Dad is trying way too hard to be his ‘friend’ rather than a parent. He needs some serious discipline. 🇦🇺🇬🇧
Kathy here. I was wishing the same thing
I hope so as well, that the behaviour of that kid is just a phase. It's not cool to act like that at all.
I lost my pop 4 years ago and I still miss him so much, it hurts.
What a great human being and doctor. I wish there were more doctors like him
That grandson was so amazing. I remember being with my grandmother when she took her last breath. We all told her it was okay to go be with grandpa.
Grandmama is blessed to have such a great grandson. And he is blessed to have her
This documentary about King's College Hospital has given me a brand new understanding of the hospital's operation. The 24-hour record has allowed me to see the professionalism and dedication of the medical staff, and also realize the importance of health. Thank the creator for giving us the opportunity to take a peek at the true side of the hospital.
Rob is a great and very understanding doctor.
Ho your Grand mom is so proud of you. You are such a wonderful young man I’m sure she walks with you daily. Be proud not only of her but of yourself. She made you a kind caring and compassionate man. Prayers to you and your family 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I just want to hug the cranial surgeon , that man in blue! Next time I go to London, I’ll pop in there to deliver it! My father is now 81 , and he becomes more fragile each time I see him and my mum. My mum is in great shape, and she will probably become a 100 years!❤
My goodness, Dr Rob is a beautiful soul. He has a huge heart & truly cares. Anyone would be blessed to have a doctor like him. I think he’s an incredible person.
Ho, I'm so sorry about your Grandma's passing over 10 years ago but I hope that you are doing well ❤❤. Bless you!
I'm always happy when I turn on You Tube and there's a new 24 Hours in A&E. Brilliant show, always. Thanks!
The Dr who had been asked about when he learnt his right of passage was very inclusive and not always a question you expect or an answer you can give so easily. Respect
20:13 the doctor is putting his feelings about his and we edit to a shot of the father talking to his son about remembering family. It’s a beautiful edit I don’t think I’ve ever quite understood fatherhood before. The kid’s dad is calm, accepting, leading his son, but not telling. If he wants to get it, now or later, he will dad is not pushing, he’s leading and suggesting - and that’s his kid alright. . . The doctor had a similar event with his dad, but very different circumstances. Good emotional feelings are shown in so many ways.
This video is beautifully produced thank you all who created it :)🌷🌱
Most touching episode I've ever watched.
What a precious grandson❤
My mother always talked about family. It does sink in .. eventually. She gave me photos which I treasure now😅. It's now my job to do the same with my daughter and grandchildren.
Wow! Such a compassionate dr! So much empathy and emotion,,dedication! So lovely!❤
I cryed the hole time watching it,Grandma reminds me to my, I was lucky to say good bye to her😢
Ho, you are a fine young man. You have shown honor to your family , especially your grandmother. Bless you.
I love watching these British Medical shows, because I can see the level of care the staff gives. Also, I'm a citizen of the USA and over 60yrs old, and I didn't realize that I didn't know English.🤣
Ho is such a sweet young man. What an inspiring story
I love the dr dude;!!!!!! As a RN of 20 plus years I need more of him!!!
Young man with grandma from Vietnam, I need you now.
What a great grandson
Rest easy, sweet Amoui. 🙏🏻♥️
18:53 I had tears in my eye. My dad is still my superhero who can do anything he wants and will do everything for us, his family. Him not being able to do that anymore some time in the future, is hard to understand.
I wish I had a father like that young man I hope he realizes how lucky he is 🙏❤️ good job Dad ❤last time I saw or spoke to my dad was 37 years my mother year im the kid nobody wanted im not making shit up i literally heard my mom say that and my dad kicked me and my sister and brother out of the house because of his wife we're good kids we did everything we was told while she and her kids my siblings enjoyed life with our father and when he kicked us out he send us with our biological mother she was worst drugs alcohol sleeping around with our friends didn't gaf about anything but herself it was rough then my older brother and sister would treat me like I didn't exist my friends mother told me one day to run home go home I told her run home to who go home to who To Me I didn't have anyone it's a scary life for a child too experience and go through so when I see this Awesome beautiful Father explaining to his son about their family tree and telling his son what are his grandparents and great grandparents name and how important it is for him to know where he come from his roots it's amazing beautiful ❤️ and how patient he is with his teenage son it hit me hard always wished I could have my father in my life
Such a kind grandson!
i always have to cry when watching one of these episodes. it's emotional so beautiful
What a fabulous father. Absolutely pure gold . . . Like his teeth.
r.i.p with respect to family and friends. sorry for your loss
OMG the Dad with his son and his big toe was a trip. They will laugh about this in the future. Also the son will remember the story of his family tree he just did not want to show his Dad he was listening but it will stick.
all such good people. we need a show like this in the U.S. instead, we watch people at their worst for entertainment.
Ho, you are an amazing young man.
Love your grandma!
The dr is so so beautiful, gentle and caring🩵🩵🩵
I live in the united states and I've been watching A anE for a while now and I have to say the UK has gotten the best medical services and best friendly staff I wish our medical services were friendly some of the doctors and nurses can be rude I'll will put it like this the united states medical services system really sucks
I agree. They are mostly so cold it's depressing.
Yea, but at least we don't wait hours to be seen!!
@@jenniferparr5959I live in Pennsylvania and waited three hours at an Urgent Care. I also think the doctor needs to retire...
I live in a small town in Iowa, but go to the big city for emergencies and such. There are always beds and Drs. On call. I guess the difference is 150,000 people VS a million. We also don't call ambulances for things we can drives ourselves for. Again, I guess that's the difference between free healthcare and what we have to pay for.
@@wolfie7051I am afraid these programmes are misleading. It’s not unusual to wait 8 hours to be seen. People have died on trolleys in the corridor because they haven’t been seen in time. Because the system is free, people attend the hospital for minor cuts and ailments which do not need a hospital visit. The sad thing is that every person who attends the hospital must be seen. I know this will anger some people but the greatest majority are not from this country.
Fantastic episode. Have a great day my friend ❤️🙂⚘️🏥.
Rest in peace, be strong! ❤😢
Some beautiful families today, Adrian a loving dad, Ho a grandson any grandparent would be proud of i sincerely wish him a successful career in architecture. And the medical and allied health lady just wonderful humane beings, the lad with the fractured jaw and Holly all best wishes to you both.
"You're looking like a vampire, a messy one" he was about to shout but he couldn't 🤣
2:27 my kneecap did that once while playing volleyball. I pushed it back into place and went to my next class and everything was fine until the bell rang and I realized I could not straighten my leg because my knee had swollen so much.
The boy that lost his toenail has a cool dad haha.
I love this show!!!!❤
The father of Tyrell, I think his name is Adrian, is literally awesome! 👏👏👏
Great great sense of humor 😂👍🙏
I love the sweetness and respect each other by being proper. There relationships are way my more loving.
I see there is a note from Donna Mitchell. She is family of mine and I have not heard from her over twenty years. It is a small world.
It maybe another Donna Mitchell, as I live in Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦. It's a pleasure to meet you Ronsie. I hope you have a fantastic day 🙂⚘️.
Good morning Banijay, and everyone ❤️🙂⚘️🏥.
Good Morning from Pittsburgh everyone ☕️🌞
@@moni1950412 Good morning Moni. I hope you have a fantastic day 🙂⚘️.
Popping that dislocated knee back into place had me squirming. I had that same experience with my right shoulder, and it felt literally, and I do mean literally, felt like my entire was being held over a roaring fire. The doctor told me it is because there’s a lot nerves involved. Four decades after my shoulder injury, and I still have slight numbness and tingling down my arm and into my fingers. Dislocations are horrific.
Me I dislocated elbows and my wrist multiple times there is nothing like that pain.
Amoui & Ho 😭❤️
Lovely episode!
God Bless Grandma and her beautiful Grandson. The Chinese and Japanese, have so much respect for their elders. Not like us you want to just put them in Assisted Living. I swore to my mom and Dad that I would never put them in a situation like that. I thank God for giving me that opportunity to care for my mother at home. My dad had passed years earlier. That little extra time I had with my mother will last in my heart till it's my time to go. People life is short enough. Please, please take that extra time. You won't be sorry. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
The world should give Ho more because it take his grandma 🥺
that relationship between son and Dad, their short convo has given me a think point. especially the dad
that male nurse is too rough with the needle🫣
I have tiny deep veins. That nurse was not digging around, fishing around for a vein he couldn't find, going from site to site, unlike what's happened to me several times. He did put in a big bore needle, but he went in surely and swiftly and got a good site. Yes, it appears ugly and brutal to people who haven't suffered from hesitant, timid attempts. .Often I've gotten big bore canulas before going to surgery. I understand this because I'm a retired nurse.
I suspect the docs knew she was critically sick, and wanted a large bore canula in case they needed fluid resuscitation and blood transfusions.
OMG! That poor guy’s knee!!
I use to have seizures stage 1 and 2 because I have 2 times. My mum idk I sick when I pe3 my bed 2 times at night.
I’m happy I’m back to normal again.
Der Knaller mit der Kniescheibe 😮😮😮😮aua
I know all too well how much a dislocated knee cap can hurt, poor guy!
That Grandma was amazing and she had an extraordinary grandson. You knew what was coming and your heart broke because you knew his heart was going to be soooo broken.😞
I agree with the guy’s girlfriend, why do people have to go around so angry that they take it out on people? This is the second time I’ve seen one of these medical shows that a kid was just standing at a bus stop or just wherever minding his own business and someone comes along and hit him so hard, he’s has to go to the ER. Hope he’s doing well and the police caught the person(Coward) responsible and pressed charges.
The dad with the family tree, I’m wondering if somethings going on within the family that he feels a strong need to try to get his son to remember what he’s saying?
Another great video of doctors and nurses another healthcare workers doing a great job!!👏🏻👏🏻🥰🥰🩷🩷
I think the dad with the family tree was trying to pull his son back from whatever he was headed for, was trying to get him to care like he did when he was younger, and trying to get him to remember that he has family who dearly love him.
The young man who lost his grandmother at end of video, we all will lose our loved ones in our life. My father was in and out of hospital for two years. He didn’t know he had metastasized cancer in his body until five months before he died. He was going through dialysis every other day and he finally succumb to cancer. It is very sad, but he is no longer in pain. We all have an expiration date……
Remind me not to dislocate my knee. That is really painful.
Dislocated mine about 5 times. Not the kneecap the entire tib/fib to femur dislocated at the MCL. Bottom half of my leg goes to a 70 degree angle. Still haven't had it surgically fixed. Can't afford to miss work. Been years still last episode. Happened when I was inebriated pushing a van in the snow. Then happened other times playing sports. Now have a knee brace you see American football players wear when playing sports.
Last time I dislocated my knee cap while at the gym (some 45 odd years ago), I slid it back into place myself. Apparently I was very lucky to not break the kneecap in half. 🤢😵💫
Having EDS, I've dislocated my jaw several times. Sometimes in my sleep (!) ,other times when I've been getting 3 hour root canals. The jaw indeed hangs open like that. Dentist says " You can close your mouth now". And I can't! Luckily, I've learned how to pull on my jaw & reposition it again . ( no breaks though) Dentist is amazed.
I know what it’s like to have a great relationship with a Grandmother
Nick is adorable!
9:20 the thank you haha
Oh SIMON!! You poor thing 😮 I wasn't expecting that 😬😬
Bonjour, très bon documentaire, dommage qu'il n y a pas de traduction en francais 👍👏merci pour votre partage bisous de Marseille France 🤗🤕🤔😘🇫🇷
That needle placement in the elderly ladies arm was rough. Someone needs to discuss with him how to be less aggressive. He did not need to push it so hard. Poor thing jumped.
Ho God bless you❤ she’ll be with you always
That poor guy that goot punched. So senseless. He looks kinda hurt about it. I think I would feel that way too, like what did I ever do to you to derserve that?
I like that grandma and grandson he rides his bike 10 miles to she her but most Americans don’t even want to drive there car a mile to see their family
Last ending made me cry man!
@ 10:05 You look like a vampire, a messy one.. that was so funny😂😂
Beautiful lovely episode 😢 your gramma she be watching over you
so sad RIP
I dislocated my jaw years ago and HOLY 💩 it's painful 😫. When he popped the kneecap in place 😬😬😬🫨🫨🙈🙈🙈
Shocking background music..who ever is editing this suggest to lower the volume of music should b a quiet background sound not to be loud and eerie where it's hard to hear the words and I hve perfect hearing
Nice watching...
09:15 OMG! I felt that...
This is an old episode. I wish they wouldn't present these old ones as new.
I always click for more info before watching, to get the series/episode info, so I know they’ve been really old. But, I still watch parts of it, as it’s a good show.
I hadn't seen it & I enjoyed it.
the person farting is hilarious
cmon this was only posted 3 weeks ago and the narration volume isn't fixed!
Years ago I had my toenail removed and I was in a wheelchair for three days
When his grandma stated that she missed eating dog meat, it made me sick.🤮
Me, too.
Where does she get it from !!!
How are dogs different than sheep or chickens?
I wish they would dim the lights for patients trying to rest.
When he said they had a dog, but they Ate it ! I lost it. 😡
The pain of the kneecap and the force it took to get it back in place like OMG... Question... Does the UK have rules on consent? I would guess he is glad they got it back in, and no attempt #3... but when a patient says stop (USA) you stop.
I want the facial surgeon if I ever have a problem
The person passing gas in the waiting room needed a private room 💨 🤣
Jokes aside. This was a very emotional episode! I love the cranial doctor. Very real emotion!!!
The english translation for Ho and his grandma is good but they didn't really translate everything he says. More like they extremely summarise what he says to translate it to English. Just putting this out here from someone who speaks Cantonese.
Banijay, question…do you have more than one channel? I ask because there is someone with a different screen name putting up your videos.
Banijay are presenting these videos that were screened on tv. I'm not sure if they were the original tv producers. A lot of youtube channels are showing work of other ppl. Apparently once it's in the public domain it's fair game.
