Wowza. Fantastic. And Carl is such a treasure of a player. I found this because once again I want to start my day watching him play! What a surprise to see him playing my namesake guitar this morning! e
Sounds great. Haven’t seen Carl lately on this channel. It is the 21st of September 2022. I hope he continues to do demos. In other words, where has Carl Miner been?
===== 30K For this guitar? ==== Never. Do I smell GREED? I own a Lowden and it sounds much better then this. Sorry. ==== 30 thousand dollars or $29,315. I am becoming more and more disappointed in the human race. =====
It's the materials. Ancient timber is expensive. I'm sure your Lowden sounds amazing, and i don't doubt that it sounds better to your ear than this amazing guitar. But I would suggest that looking at the price tag on this guitar tainted your ear and all you heard from that point on was your own prejudice against people in a better position to buy and enjoy these fine instruments. I too am in no position to purchase such a guitar (not even a Lowden!), but I do love listening to and looking at these fine instruments. Peace.
@@michaelrainbow4203 === Do a comparative listening to your 30 K guitar to other guitars and you will see. I think now it comes down to bragging rights, as to who can own the most expensive guitar as you are very well aware of corporations, or businesses, or firms, who buy these expensive guitars to hang on the wall of their establishment without a clue to playing it and taking care of it. I could dip into my 401K but won't. Now the Lowden Lowden O-50 (Master grade African Blackwood/Master grade Sinker Redwood) being played by Matt Thomas is one I would buy. === ua-cam.com/video/VB0HkMLYDfk/v-deo.html =====
@@michaelrainbow4203 I completely agree with everything you said in your comment. I’ll add that if it was truly overpriced they wouldn’t have already sold it. Personally, I don’t think I would ever pay that much for a guitar even if I could afford it. There are so many amazing high end guitars in the $5,000-10,000 range that I don’t really see any reason to look at anything higher. I am about to have Gallagher Guitars do a custom build for me that will be slightly over $4,000, and that will probably be the last acoustic guitar I’ll ever need.
Sorry I own a high end Lowden and a Maton custom shop Tommy emmanuel and neither are on the same planet as this thing. Even through UA-cam you can hear the difference. But sound is subjective so you do you but to say you’re disappointed in the human race because someone paid $30k for it is just childish. People pay multiples of that for cars and watches all the time.

First strum I involuntarily let out an expletive. What a guitar.
Richard Hoover never ceases to amaze...
Wonderful tone. Would expect nothing less from SCGC and Carl. Nicely done.
wow. amazing tone. maybe the best sounding guitar-to my ears-of all the recordings on your channel.
Wow. Such amazing tone and sustain. Martin‘s are my favorite. But this is better than anything I’ve ever heard made by Martin. Ever ever ever.
There’s more to guitars than Martin, live a little.
Martin guitars are just ok unless you are spending the same amount of money as this
Careful. He can probably make a rubber band guitar sound good. It’s a great guitar but a lot of what you’re hearing is him.
Try a Goodall, Lowden or if you want to spend a little more...a Traugott. A Martin will become...ordinary.
Hmmm really really?
already sold, wow, that was fast LOL
Sounds amazing. Skye models are always great. Although not my first choice. Especially if I'm spending that much
Oh My Goodness!

Amazing composition. Is this also improvised?!
This the coolest guitar I have ever seen. Too bad there is no more ancient Sitka spruce tho
😂 keep digging !!! Some has to be here on earth . Keep digging .
Too bad it's ridiculously overpriced
Strings sound too new whilst wood is very mellow. Needs strong break in period I think to really hear its timbre.
Far out stuff from the master session man.
MAHOGANY > BRW , imo .
