I know a lot of people have complained about this advantage being unfair, but I actually liked it. My only gripe is that I wish they didn’t get a tribal council part 2. Jeff had already said it was time to vote, so they should have had to go straight to the voting booth after Rachel left. It would have been brilliant to see what the votes looked like without any time to talk.
Kyle totally has an accent it’s like Minnesota meets midwest or something. I agree with David that’s it’s one of his more endearing qualities and has given us such memorable lines as “I’m gonna squish him like a bug “ and “I’m the most honest dumbass here.” He can be self deprecating enough to minimize his threat level within the game.. at least until he won 2 back to back immunity’s 🙈
As a Minnesotan, love the over-the-top Midwest accent. I don't think it sounds that thick, but I love hearing other people imitate our accents lol, I think it's really funny.
I knew u were Aubrey right away...she was one of my favs. I was really hoping Rachel was going to tell Caroline that Gabe said her name. Even though it was a fake plan by Gabe I was hoping it was enough to flip Caroline to vote him out.

Sarah's face! @18:12 Irish accent!!! Wait is David from MN or MI? @19:40 Caroline is SMART! I also love how she and Tiyana sat down and debated the topic. @28:23 and I think Sarah grew up in the south or was born in around there so she would know a southern accent! @30:40 I was surprised Gabe mentioned Caroline's name earlier to Rachel when at tribal, Gabe targeted Tiyana. Also, given how Kyle has immunity, I wish he took more control of this vote since he has nothing to lose. @37:25 I, too, crack up seeing Sarah's Andy impression. Can't wait for Sarah to interview him later this season!
Tiyana did say in her interviews that she wanted to work with Sol. If she had realised she was at the bottom of Tuku and really tried to build something with Sol, Sol could have saved her!! The alternate possibilities in Survivor are so interesting
See I knew as soon as I saw the split breakdown on Twitter a few days before the episode aired that Tiyana was in the most trouble, because she wouldn’t be able to get the votes for Gabe, and Gabe and Sue were pissed at her from the social hour. I was actually surprised that Gabe was genuinely targeting Rachel, and I think it was a mistake from him. Tiyana’s point about coming back 5 v 6 was accurate (though she didn’t tell Gabe about it, obviously, but I’m surprised he didn’t realize it on his own) and now Tuku’s both lost a member and made it obvious that they were initially planning to stay tribe strong by how they reacted to Rachel getting safety.
Great Aubrey costume!! And love the Andy impression. I didn’t hear Kyle’s accent either but absolutely love David’s Minnesota twang. Please keep entertaining us. Happy Halloween 🎃
16:35 As a Minnesotan, first of all I just have to say I’m obligated to hate the movie Fargo and to point out that that’s a city in North Dakota and made no sense for the movie’s title, which mostly takes place in a city in Eastern Minnesota. Second, I think David’s accent is actually a really good rural Midwestern accent, and not too far off from Kyle’s.
What a great episode. Tribal was so stressful. I'm glad Rachel was safe, but that screwed up the whole shebang. Sad to see Tyanna go, but had to be someone. Damn.
I think Kyle getting the Immunity Idol, despite coming in third actually works out for Teeny and especially Genevive. It makes Kyle look like a bigger threat and puts a bigger target on his back, and after Genevive found the advantage last episode, this helps lower her threat level. If either Teeny or Genevive make it to Final Tribal, they can still add that to their resume inf ront of the jury if they choose.
I think Caroline might be underestimating just how close Sue is to Gabe. Sue is her number one, but Gabe is Sue’s number one. It was very telling when Sue continued acting confused when Caroline told her she knew she had the idol. Caroline seemed to think nothing of it and was proud that Sue had found an idol. I wonder is she would have looked at it so innocently is Sue was not an older woman. Caroline may be underestimating Sue. If Caroline wants to continue working with Sue, she can NOT be the one to get rid of Gabe.
