Vader's helmet is actually quite big. Multiply all dimensions by 1.5 or 150% for even more accurate model. But I really like this kind of diy approach.

Dude you’re videos are great these are some of the best homemade props I’ve ever seen on UA-cam in this style (cardboard, hot glue, spray paint etc) you deserve so many more subscribers
There's just a few things holding this back from being truly amazing. Before the spray paint, before the paper mache, some of the edges could be sanded down to be more round, make the cheek areas shorter, like the front ends come to the nose bit and the actual bits in front of the cheeks dip a bit around the center line, the base of the dome be rounded a bit more, and the "eyebrows" be a bit 3 dimensional, like they stick out at a downwards angle from where they connect to the dome. Oh and a screen accurate paint job.

i love this tutorial! it was so easy to follow and only took me 4-6 hours to make! which sounds long but for crafting and such i'm glad it didn't even take me the whole day!

Sadly no, but, I'm sure if you fiddle with your print options a little you might be able to get something close to, if not the right size. I recommend experimenting with the paper size setting on your printer.

Hello there, I'm from México and I want to make this for a friend that invite me to the Sólo premiere and also going to make the Solo's blaster, so... I have one question. In centimeters how long and wide is the strip of cardboard to hold the dome? tanks and Love your work.
César de la Cruz Just to be sure, are you talking the cardboard piece at 6:40? If so that piece is about 8 centimeters in width and for the length, it doesn't really matter just as long as it's long enough to wrap around our oval shaped piece.
Repaint it and rip it apart to make the melted helmet

can it be made entirely in cardboard or the cardstock is really necessary? im just wondering if it would look too weird. also great work that is a really awesome darth vader mask really one of the best tutorials out there.
It's not really necessary I just used cardstock because It's a little easier to bend and shape and it has a much more clean and smooth texture as opposed to cardboard and also because I couldn't find enough cereal box cardboard to use. Also, thank you for the compliment about the helmet and tutorial.
