yeah the diff between the sec and big ten was miles then when we started under urban getting some dude from sec and guys that were linebackers at 6”4 240 4.4 side to side the big ten couldn’t touch us and mich and saben about fell in the same trap cause is 6”5245 guys were getting to big to play and he started getting more of the safety hybr now and it saved him a few rings but he was kind of stuck in that heavy with enough speed and i think after he loss 14 to us and there was one more yr where he got heavy and the qb was down and he was like from now on qb can run and we’re going to stay with this frame and now the dt pos was the freaks on the field which that’s where i think we struggle at if we had two dt at 300 pounds and eating up the help then we could fly
yeah sometimes u need that three gives ur def a win the stop them offense gets a few bang three yeah we need 7 but a o is a o and if ur offense is struggling bad u know a pick 7 and a fg wins the damn thing

just like mich plays runs the freaking ball u think they think there going to get a td everytime no cause they know there offense is going to win later in the game cause there def is going to stop them they will take 3/4 fg then at half time we there opp is beaten into the ground the first half then they start the play action and qb taken off to get the first and finding away to keep it alive where they didn’t care the first half then the next thing ur def is suckin wind and then there rb runs for 80 yrs

I disagree completely with Kirk that the 2005 defense was “way better”. Jay Richardson and Gholston gave the defensive ends way more athleticism. Linebackers were actually comparable and Malcolm Jenkins at DB was also comparable
