    It's also good to hear someone reporting on something positive for a change. All you hear on the news is bad news: "If it bleeds, it leads (in the media)." I have found that I have to really try to limit my news to about 30 minutes a day... just enough to stay informed. If I watch too much I start to really get upset.

      I recently started working at a retail store and it is heartbreaking to see full grown people that have children risking their freedom because they want to rob a few expensive pieces of clothing. Saw a lady use her baby and crib as a place to hide clothes, slowly losing hope for people out here.

It was the fact that they took time to calculate the exact amount of tax that they had to pay for their stuff, doing the little things even when no one is watching.       It's probably also helpful that the cops did not get there in time to run into those guys. In a lot of these videos cops automatically escalate the situation, get too trigger happy and shoot one of the darker boys, while also confiscating the money, and claim they feared for their lives. All while police supporters would claim the boys deserved to be shot while anti police supporters claim it's another crime against colored people.

      Okay, maybe they won’t be punished for those 500$. Some scholarships don’t deduct from other scholarships, this could just be some money on top of whatever larger scholarship they already have or they might not have any other scholarship and the 500 helps

Still, depending where you live, $500 can get you quite far, I'm from a country in Europe where education is mostly free and in last 3 years of college I haven't spent more than 1250€ on education as far as I calculated in the time it took me to type this comment, +/-200€.
      1250€ is roughly $1390 US.

    This behavior definitely deserves to be rewarded, hopefully to set a good example for the future. The cops or the owner could have over-reacted and just repeated the cycle of violence that has been going on forever. The kids, cops, store owner, and bank employees are all good people.
