I often go to the thrift store for frames. Brand new frames are insanely expensive, and I often find lovely, high quality frames for a great price. Sometimes the frames require a little TLC like painting, but it’s worth it.
Absolutely! Thrifting frames are def worth it!
Thanks for watching Jennifer 🫶🏽🙏🏽
I’ve never seen such an incredible thrift store 😍
I know right! It’s my absolute favorite 😍
Heavy brass is so timeless. Beautiful picks. Thanks for sharing.
I would definitely leave the green vessel that color, it’s neutral and can go with your decor easily. Great haul of thrift items. TFS
So glad you said that..I have taken it out several times to do something and each time I kept not feeling it. I like the way it is too 🤗🤗😘
Oh yeah, you've got the knack to fund treasure amongst trash! Everything you got was so classy and beautiful! The framed pictures are A+! Love how you styled everything.
My new found hobby! I get so excited to go treasure hunting. Thanks for watching 🫶🏽🤗
Not correcting, just sharing that Nambe' rhymes with Bombay. I have a small metal bowl. Good score on the gorgeous board even w/o knife & the Dansk!
@@LIMABN haha I did wonder about how it’s pronounced, thanks for sharing that. Those were among my favorites 😊
You found some awesome artwork and decor, and you have GOD gifted talents to style and re-purpose!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Awww thanks Kathy😊😊😊
I am so glad I found your channel. I really like your aesthetic. I enjoy that you thrift a little, haul a little, upcycled a little, and style a little.
I absolutely love the way you put this…I read it and thought…yeaahh 🤔it is a little of this and that 🫣😃 Thanks for being here Carole! 😍
I love thrift stores. Let me tell y'all. If you find a pretty mirror like she had...buy it! I saw a gorgeous mirror and second guessed myself and I went back and it was gone 😟. Love that charcuterie board. OMG 😳 gorgeous 😍. The cheese board too. I love that you know what you like in pictures. I like how used the items to make your house a home.
Ahh I’ve learnt the hard way as well. 🤦🏽♀️You just have to trust your instinct and don’t overthink it, if you like it, get it! 😁 Thanks for your lovely compliments 🙏🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
Your thrift store has some wonderful finds. Wish my local thrift store was that good. Good job!
Haha yes! I agree, since going to this one, it changed my perception of thrifting. Thanks for watching Latasha! 🤗

Hi, First time watching
Where State or City is this Thrift Store?
@@godiseverything1482 it’s in South Florida 😊
Same here!
Just wow. Especially the bird tray and the large wood tray. You have wonderful taste.
YAAAAS!! That bird tray has my heart ❤️
Thank you so much Elizabeth 🙏🏽
YOU GOT SOME BEAUTIFUL THINGS .
I sure did, thanks for watching 😊
what you are calling a butter dish is actually a crumb catcher, they usually had a scrapper that you would use to move the crumbs from the table into what you have the holder. ( I recently discovered this info myself.)
Haha yes, another viewer mentioned that. Imagine the lifestyle back then 😅
Thanks for watching Shari! 🫶🏽
Brass lover here too! I just cannot stop!! I love all your finds they are gorgeous!! The books too!
Girl! I literally have to stop myself because I would buy them all! 😊😂
You have a great eye, you picked up some fantastic pieces.
Aww thanks Monita! 💕🙏🏽
I would leave the sconce as is and use the Led candles if I wanted to actually enjoy using them or just regular tapered candles. Candlelight reflects so beautifully in the mirrors.
Great idea! I shared here ua-cam.com/video/wOt4ScajXEQ/v-deo.html what I did with it ❤️
Wow I love the makeover on the bean pot!
Great talent, you can see the possibilities-most would have walked past these things but you have the eye! The "arch" picture was completely transformed by changing the frame color. I want to try Odie's Oil. I LOVE the cheese board and the way you repurposed it. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much Kim! 🫶🏽😊
That green is a amazing color
Nice haul, some vessels/pottery/vases look good all alone or with branches.
Thanks Jaye! 🙏🏽
Omg I am loving all those items ! I love the wooden piece that you used as the riser and I love those antique pieces. The napkin holder and the candle Stan’s with the mirror those candle Stan’s have lots of potential. I would love to see what you would do with it !
Haha seems like you’ve caught the thrifting bug virtually! 😂😂 It truly is fun and feels like an adult treasure hunt. I’ll be sharing the remaining DIYs in a later video. 🤗🫶🏽
It’s a napkin holder 😊
Love the haul. You have a wonderful thrift store near you.
I would use it in the bathroom for soaps or tea towels
Hello!! Great items purchased. I loved the green striped pottery vase, the large cutting board that you did a diy on looks amazing.
Thanks so much Sherry! I appreciate it 😍
Beautiful…. Love all the hidden treasures you found
Thanks Carol, I love the hunt 🫶🏽💕
You have a great eye for your finds, I love the all! 👍❤️
Thanks Libby! 💕💕
You can totally do a candle in the bird feeder, like one of those huge piller ones that drip wax.
The little bird may be in the way of anything high, ain’t that the cutest little thang tho!? ☺️☺️
Loved your wonderful finds and how you changed them and styled them!
Thank you so much, I appreciate your feedback 🫶🏽
Wow! Some really great finds! I believe that item you are calling a butter dish is a silent butler. They were used for collecting ashes from ashtrays around the house or, I think they would scrape crumbs off the table into it.
I discovered that later, so cool right 😎☺️
Yes love your work, the cutting board lovely, and the bird feeder yes.
Thanks for watching and sharing your favs 🙏🏽🫶🏽
Hi! Just found your video and love all the beautiful things you found and how you styled them in your home. So much to find in the thriftstores, I also love to ‘hunt’ and find pieces that I love!
I’m so glad you’re here! Thank you for the lovely compliments, It’s such a great way to make your home uniquely yours 🥰😍
Wow! What a wonderful thrift store! Not gonna lie, I cringed at all of the permanent marker/ oil pen? that they used, especially on the leather wrapped decanter 😭 Love how you decorate and upcycle. I'm subscribing for sure! ❤️
Right!!? 😖they love doing that..it’s so annoying, sometimes no matter what you do, it doesn’t come off. 🙄
Thanks for watching Dana 🫶🏽🙏🏽
Great finds! Love the bowls and baskets! Artwork is lovely too
Thanks Pam! I want to check out a few thrift stores in your area, maybe we can meet up if you’re up to it 😊🤗
I love Indian brass
I’m an avid thrifter and also resell some items. Loved your taste, ideas and presentation.
Oh wow thank you 🙏🏽 feel free to drop tips whenever you want, I’m fairly new to Thrifting 🫶🏽🥰
I did that dabbing technique to 5 different thrift vases and they are my favorite items of decor
Stopppppp those bowls are incredible
I love the way you decorate! You have a true gift!
Thank you so much Elaine! That’s so appreciated 🙏🏽
Nambé and Dansk are top notch! 👍👍
They are 😊💕
That is one of my favorite thrift stores as well. The funny thing is I actually picked up that green vase and was going to buy it (it was on the back wall). I only put it back, because I have so much pottery already. It is beautiful. Great video.
Oh my! Really? What are the chances of us both seeing that ☺️ which location do you prefer?
@@DIYDecorDiary I frequent the one in Hollywood all the time. I've visited the one in Lauderhill about 3 times. It's been a while, however they seemed to have a larger furniture department. The prices pre-Covid were even better than they are now. A lot of dealers are discovering these locations:(
Fabulous finds. Love how well the wooden items came up with the odie's oil. It really makes them sing. Someday I'll be extravagant on a special piece and get some. Your hair looks fabulous by the way. Beautiful.
Haha thank you, I like that..they sing ❤️
Girl! I only recently got me some of that magic oil after months of procrastinating.😜
Took a big chop to those locks and it feels good, thanks for noticing 😉😘
You found some lovely finds.
I love the black and white picture in the black frame that you painted and the wooden items.
I thought you would pick up what looked like the Indian brass caddy thingy. The lid was carved and the container had a lid.
I would have bought that.
Love your brass candle holders.
You have a good eye.
What really made me angry to see is all the items in the shop being written on in black permanent marker which you cannot wash off on many things.
If I spend my precious money on something, I do not want it to be damaged on purpose by the thrift shop or any shop.
Sorry, that was a mini rant. Lol.
Otherwise great finds. The teak platter looks beautiful. I would paint the green pot in white chalk paint, then paint a beige colour in chalk paint over the white, then wipe it bacj to expose some white in the details. Then use white antiquing wax. Hope that makes sense.
Enjoy. 🎉
You found the motherlode of items and I loved especially the thick cheese board and every one of the prints, they were gorgeous! You did an awesome job of transforming that pot into a vase, loved that.
Thanks Charlotte! Thrifted finds have a different meaning than buying new 🥰
The silver-plated item at 9:30 with the wooden handle is definitely not a butter dish. Pretty sure it's a footed silent butler, aka crumb-catcher, for use with a brush to sweep crumbs off the table.
WOW! Someone said the same thing earlier, I think it’s so amazing how things were used in the past, definitely intriguing. Thanks for commenting ☺️🙏🏽
You got some great pieces ,the stone container with lid at the end I would use it as a salt cellar huni next to your stove maybe get a mall scoop/spoon to fit inside 👍😉😊🌼💛
Right!? I did think of that, but my husband didn’t seem to keen, he’s the one that use “pinch salt” Maybe I’ll just do it anyway! Thank you 😊 🙏🏽
The bird brass item can be a candle holder ❤
Haha, I used it in my winter decor and that’s exactly what I did 🤣 thanks for watching Ariana 🫶🏽
The brass pieces, especially the planter and the candlestick holders, are just gorgeous!! I also can’t believe you got that stone box for $1. So cool!
Omg yes, brass pieces are timeless 🥰🙏🏽😊
Some great finds.
You have found some nice pieces at the thrift store obviously it's not all thrifts you can find some good pieces what you bought it's amazing 👍🏾👍🏾
Some days are better than others ☺️☺️
Beautiful pictures when paint black
Thank you 🫶🏽🫶🏽
Great finds. The Dansk platter and the Nambe board came out beautifully.
Thank you, I’m enjoying them 🙏🏽🫶🏽
That wooden plater is beautiful.
Thank you, would you believe I found another just like it!? I was so excited 😆🙏🏽
I love that 1st picture!!
Is that the black and white? Love it! 😍
@@DIYDecorDiary Yes!! It looks very EXPENSIVE!!!
You certainly know how to pick the right items, I love your video. Thumb up 🍾
Thank you so much, and thanks for watching 😊🙏🏽
Oh woww Tricia, I need to go to that thrift store! 😍 I love your staging tips and tricks. So helpful and beautiful! You have great camera presence, girl, I feel like you are right here chatting with me 💖
Yes it’s really so much fun to do! Thanks for watching and your beautiful sentiments 🥰
Talking and being in front of a camera has been the biggest hurdle for me, so I’m encouraged. 🤗🤗
@@DIYDecorDiary 🤗🥰
I want to be by your thrift store, just looking is awesome
Your hamper is great
Fantastic finds! Both Dansk and Nambe are high quality makers. Their items are usually expensive. I collect Dansk myself. Great pick-ups. 💕
Thank you, I have found quite a few more Dansk since this haul, I’ve always loved teak so I’m in love. I’m sharing another haul soon. Thanks for your advise! 🤩🥰
Lovely finds! so glad I found your channel!
Me too! 🤗🤗 welcome 🙏🏽
I love your style. I'm so glad I found your channel.
Awww, thank you 😊 me too! 🫶🏽🥰
It’s adorable.
Agreed, and thanks for watching 🫶🏽
Paint the candle sticks black but make it more square and modern but I love the actual swivel of the bottom where the candle stick goes, and I love the mirror. Dang girl you found some good stuff!
I can’t wait to show off what I eventually did with them…haha when I saw the mirror you found it reminded me of this little one! Thanks for watching 🥰
That's a napkin holder my mom used to have one when I was a little girl in the sixties🤗
Oh wow! I so love enjoying something that once made someone else happy 😊
I love your thrifting..so glad I found you.
Thank you, I plan on sharing more 🤗😊
Love love the candle holders my mother used to have a set of those as well when I was a little girl in the 60/70s but if I had a set of those right now I would paint them black give a little shine to it and hang them in my dining room or my living room if I had a fireplace they would go on either side of the fireplace.
I did flip them all black, haven’t hung them yet though 🤭🫶🏽
I just found you today and I’m a new subscriber!!! 🎉 I love the items you found and how you plan to use them. The artwork and paintings you filmed in one store were spectacular! I saw several pieces I wanted!! 😅 Happy thrifting! 👍🏽
Yay! 🤗 welcome!! my brain gets overloaded and see all the good art when looking back at these clips 🤪
Hi, I just found your channel and subscribed! I'm a thrifter too so I loved seeing your finds! Looking forward to seeing more of your videos
Yay! So nice to meet you!! I just checked you out and subbed. LOVE your channel. And your thumbnails are sooooo good! 🧡
Fantastic finds. 🙏🏾❤️
Thanks Belle! 🙏🏽🫶🏽
Big score with that cutting board! BTW..your hair looks FAB 😍
I sure did! And thank you 🙏🏽
That is actually a bean pot. My dad used to make homemade beans in one just like it.
Yay!! I was saying pick the black and white painting good choice in painting the frame black now it pops the other one I would paint the frame the darker color in the center those frames look beautiful I need one for my own painting I'm not good with power tools me macheteo los dedos bien machetona y sin paciencia but you did grab a good haul
Did you? The clip was very brief of that black and white so I’m really impressed you thought that❣️ ahhhh, the other one I was thinking the same (darker color in the center) good idea! Thank you for watching 🤗
Awesome thrifted items, great finds
Thanks Rosie! 🫶🏽
New subscriber absolutely love all the pieces you picked up 👏. Here in the UK we have charity shops and I must confess I have the bug too as I have been thrifting for many years it’s so exciting when you’ve found that item you have been searching for.
Welcome! I agree, the hunt makes it exciting, I can’t believe I wasn’t doing this sooner 🤩
Thanks for watching🫶🏽🫶🏽
Your last brass piece was stunning!
Agreed, my favorite! 🦅💛
Oh geez I need to look thru the wooden items at my local thrift store, you got some amazing finds!
Hahaha..quite a few people have told me the same thing! It’s an overlooked treasure imo, and I found some more just recently, I will share soon. Thanks for watching 🫶🏽🥰
I’m subscribing bc I too love thrift and you put it all together so well
Thank you for sharing that, and welcome! 😊
OMG Trish that's my favorite place as well
It’s a great spot for Thrifting! 🥰
Great haul!! And great eye! 😃❤️👍
Thanks Nora 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Just found you and love all your finds . Thank you.
Thank you so much, nice to have you here 😊🤗
U can put the pair of candles holder on the side of that Mirror they are the same color
Wow! Great finds! Love the wood pieces especially. I love vintage silver also. I’ve not seen a handled butter dish like that before. Could it be a silent butler piece? Very nice either way!
A unique piece for sure, ooohh, I didn’t even know what that meant, (thanks google) but you may be on to something! It may have very well been, thanks for watching Angie🙏🏽
I just came across this video. LOVED IT. I subscribed & turned on the notification. Thanks for producing & posting.
Sassy CinVA
Awesome! I’m so glad you’re here, I have another big haul I’m sharing on Fridays video. Thanks for watching! 😍☺️
Beautiful finds
Thank youuuu!! 🥰🥰😊
It looks like everything that you picked up is antiques good taste because if I were to saw them I would have brought them too you Good taste
You’re so kind, thank you for sharing 🫶🏽🫶🏽
For the bird dish (gorgeous by the way!), I’d use it as a dining table centrepiece, on its own, or with small, low floral arrangement, or fruit, or other things; or as fancy soap dish in bathroom if you have the space by the side of a basin or bath. Or, still in bathroom, with face towels / hand towels neatly folded in it. Or jewellery/trinket dish in bedroom/on dressing table or side table. Or candy dish as you suggest. Excellent find! Thank you for the inspiring video, you have an amazing eye. 😊
Ahh I love the idea of small face towels!! Thank you! My husband uses them in his shaving routine so this is a pretty way of having them handy. Thanks so much Madeleine 🤗😊🙏🏽
The knife that goes with the cheese board is probably in the silverware junk bin at the store, go dig!
Great taste great finds
Thank you!! 😊
I love thrift store decorations…
My sister & myself have different styles yet both homes are decorated fully thrift stores and yard sales 😊
Omg it must look amazing. Having that collected, curated look is so appealing. Love it! 🫶🏽🙏🏽
Those two mirrored candleholders would look great with some gold rub and buff and the candles that are led flickering from Amazon. Just a suggestion…
I did a makeover on them in this video ua-cam.com/video/wOt4ScajXEQ/v-deo.html but I agree they do need some antique gold somewhere on them. Thanks for that suggestion, only today I was looking at them (I haven’t found a spot that works for them yet)🫶🏽
For the candle thingies, you can paint the mirror with a black chalk paint. Sand the brown down or use the oven cleaner technique. Then put the twisted candles in, would look awesome.
Thanks for subscribing and sharing your idea Mattie! It’s so interesting you said that, I started working on it yesterday and black is definitely happening 🖤🖤🖤
Also just SUBSCRIBED!!!!
Napkin holder
Fill in the top decor on wooden candle sticks with wood filler. Paint the wood eggshell finish black. This will modernize them especially with off white tapers.
Great minds think alike!😎 Thanks for the suggestion 🙏🏽
I did something similar and shared it on this video ua-cam.com/video/wOt4ScajXEQ/v-deo.html
You sound like me, "I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for" but I like it and I got it!
Sometimes you just HAVE to get it! 🤣🤣
Thanks for watching 🫶🏽🙏🏽
For the basket for the guest bathroom, could you set a plastic wastebasket inside? And if it’s too small/short you could set something under it to prop it up.
I didn’t even think of that, that’s brilliant! I’ve been using a bag and when it gets full, it’s a struggle to get it out, a bin would be perfect! Thank you!!!!! 😎😎
I believe the golden painting is beautiful as is. But you have a great eye so I am sure anything you do will be perfect.
I haven’t found a spot for it yet but it’s really so beautiful 😍
Great ideas
Thanks Melanie! 🙏🏽
I'm new to your channel!!
@@melanieshort6190 I’m so happy you’re here 🙏🏽☺️
That butter dish, is also an ashtray
Oh really!? Wow, that would definitely make sense, thanks for sharing that! 😊🤗
The thing you said you wouldn't put butter in, is for emptying ashtrays. For your wicker bin, put a plastic can in it.
I figured that out after, thanks for sharing🙏🏽😊OMG that bin idea is genius!! That didn’t come to mind at all, and it truly is the best solution, thank you! Thank you! ☺️☺️
Did you decide what you wanted to do with the candle sconces? If not, maybe try the oven cleaner method to lighten the wood. I did that to a napkin holder I found thrifting and I absolutely love how it turned out. Thank you for sharing your haul.
Yes I did finish them, shared in this video ua-cam.com/video/wOt4ScajXEQ/v-deo.html
Thanks for watching 🤗🙏🏽
I think painting them black but leaving the rest would be nice!!
Are you referring to the wooden wall candle stands? I’m sharing what I did with them in a new video this weekend. I’d love to hear what you think 🫶🏽😊
I LOvE the green elephant Vase. ❤❤❤❤❤LOVE your home decor. Our styles are similar. 😊 BTW, are you Trini? Love your accent, O gosh!!! 😄
I sure am! 😂😂 Thanks for tuning in Mrs Q!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽😊
I would use the bird tray to hold a candle
Great idea! Thank you 😊
