Zion Williamson will not play for at least the Pelican’s Play-In game because he doesn’t “feel like Zion.” This caused a lot of fans to get angry at the young star but he’s got an even bigger problem than that now.

Look at the Derrick rose situation it’s a perfect example. The bulls traded Derrick rose away before it was too late when they could’ve gotten a huge haul for him. They had another rising star in jimmy butler, but couldn’t build around jimmy properly cause rose was taking up so much of the cap. The pelicans have another decent young player in Brandon Ingram, and if they trade Zion they could properly build around Ingram instead of waiting for Zion to return from injury every season, just like the bulls did with rose.

i played a season with a torn shoulder and bruised fingers and a rolled ankle lol and a few years ago played a season after having being scraped by a motorcycle accident my entire right side was scraped from legs my back and having my fingerprints erased for a week and still showed up to practice after 2 days and played the season opener 2 days after my first practice seriously imagine catching a hard pass with no skin on your hands and feeling the burn and pain and non stop bleeding under the bandage so i had to let my teammates pass me the ball softly for a couple of days just to be able to practice with them. its either 2 ways he can go with it is either be healthy or just play physical basketball and stay grounded i played with pro players that are overweight athletic talking about 190-200 cm but 120-140 kg mostly fat that can dunk and jump high but they suffered with injures the only way they can stay uninjured is to stay grounded and not run as fast as they can and not jump high and just use pure strength to secure boards and get inside buckets and im talking about 21-23 year old pros at the time and they were on my team since i was young and never have i seen them rest after a injury we always use to play it out adrenaline would kick in and we'd have the doctor with us spraying the injured part icing after being subbed out for 2-3,5 minutes tying a shoe tighter then the other just to be able to run normally zion is a talent but he'll be playing of the bench after a couple seasons then he'll be out of the NBA if doesn't get his priorities straight and he'll be a bigger bust then Kawme Brown and Anthony Bennett damn even greg oden suffered injuries worst than him and seriously i know people who had hamstrings injuries and only rested for 3 weeks month max but nearly 3 months is out of line

Yes, sure, they were shook when Reed came out of the tunnel, Wilt was almost too astounded to play. Ok, so the home crowd was energized for a while. Then what? It was a Game 7 of the Finals--the Lakers couldn't find a way to refocus and motivate themselves for a Game 7 of the Finals?? I feel really bad for kids today.
I'm an 80s baby and 90s kid. When is started high school we had a computer room that had like 7 computers running Windows 95.
Having a PC in your house back then was something rich kids had.
Now everyone from like 6 years old and up have tech I couldn't even dream of back then in their pockets.
Social media was a mistake, and what I mean by that is that we are not mature enough as a species to allow everyone to be able to say anything they want to anyone else like is possible with social media.
A UA-camr named Motown Noah said some stupid shit as a literal child online and later became a rather successful UA-camr. People dug up the stupid things that he said as a child and used that to try to ruin his life a decade later. That's fucked up.
Kids aren't able to grow anymore. We as a people need to grow, we need to make mistakes so that we can learn what repercussions are. What not to do. What to do. How to handle different situations. Those lessons come from failure. From doing and saying stupid shit. But kids aren't allowed to learn those lessons anymore.
Kids today are judged from the moment they are able to post by people who were able to learn lessons and judged poorly and punished forever because they haven't learned those lessons yet.
How do you expect them to learn, to grow if they aren't able to experience, to make mistakes, to say or do stupid shit?
Social media can be beautiful. It really can. But more often than not... at least lately, social media feels like a mistake that we aren't mature enough to have.
