Great job, you didn't superglue your fingers together +100 points. Loved the click spring reference +200 points. Getting the saw up to speed +1000 points. Nokia phone +80 points. 1380 points. Welcome to the comments where the points don't matter. But the show was hilarious.
@@KarlBunker did you see the mythbusters esque sign he hung on the hook, that was the stencil work of deiresta. Jimmy dieresta is also a maker great channel much like wesley's. Less talking more making, while wesley is more character oriented and chris of click spring is more narration based but full making almost a homogeneous mixture between the two mentioned above. If you like silly but good quality this old tony is a great channel too.
Diresta and click spring. Brilliant. Love the hook brother! Keep your awesome projects coming! I’m Always excited to see the notification on one of your new videos.

I hate it when my Jetsons tablesaw doesn't fire up right first time either. Sounds like you need to change the whajamacallit in the doohickey capacitors!
I can never get my table saw to sound like yours!! What types of blades do you use to get your table saw to sound like that!! Mine always sounds like I'm cutting the tail off of my cat!!
Anyone who watches Clickspring knows super glue releases when it gets hotted up. Also: “inaugural” and not “first annual.” Thank you! May the luck of the Seven Pillars of Gulu be with you at all times.
I was hopping to see how to inlay, I don't think this is considered inlay. Let me know if I'm wrong I will keep looking for what I need. Can't very well cut my gun stock in half to put in a piece of brass or silver wire.
So weird , there is a great optical illusion going on with this project. .. I guess it's because there is that upward tick on the hook.. it looks from the shots (during mounting, and then hanging on the wall) that the piece is kinda cocked to one side and not sitting vertical. But cool none the less. :)
Sadly you missed an opportunity to give a better wear surface on the hook and make it match the brass laminations better too. When you had that piece of iron nice and cherry red you could have taken a brass bristle brush and brushed over it and actually embedded the brass into the piece giving it a beautiful patina and also a better wear surface for things rubbing up against it like cloth or leather that you might hang on it. Then it would have matched the inlays and also had a beautiful look all by itself. You also could have repeated that process for the eliminated pieces as well!
Wesley Treat , he is an Austrailian DIY ‘youtuber’. He uses a handfile a lot, so I was sure you were referring to him when you used the Australian accent .
Sorry, dude. My cat isn't a big fan of the Jetson's sound effects. He's more of a Captain Caveman kinda guy. What about Captain Caveman's club sound effects? That's always fun.
Late comment. Thank you for NOT having music in your videos. I hate dealing with someone else's taste always very annoying. Want the talking and tool noises. I still want to find the Jetsons mp3 to take my DeWalt jobsite saw to the next level.
The good news is that, now that you've gone back to that insufferable Jetson's sound effect, your videos are a lot shorter! I just fast forward through every clip.
Protip: If you route the endgrains first, any tearout at the end will be removed by routing the long grain side.
Glad you got your table saw fixed! Sound much better.
That’s such a nice way to remember and honor your blacksmithing experience at Makers Camp. Sweet little project.
Love the hitting of the saw to make it sound right lol the jetsons noise always makes me smile :)
I cant agree more about the jetsons reference.
Almost as much fun as GTOger using it when the scooters came around.
Is the irony of using a hanger to mount a hanger lost only on me?
I was wondering where Clickspring had been recently! I guess now I know.

Does Jimmy Diresta know you have his sign? The old Nokia brought back memories! Oh, yes, and the hook and mounting is cool too.
Really like these parts and the sense of humor! Also reminds me of Clickspring too!
Welcome Beck! Very well done and a cool hook!! Glad you got to go to Maker camp, it looked like a great time!
Glad to see you got the table saw working right again
I.... I can't think of any point in this video that I wasn't smiling and feeling genuine happiness. Thank you.
Only get to use the Aussie accent if you make the file first. :)
Lovely job as usual. I love your sense of humour.
I HAVE THAT SAME BIN , complete with PVC piping too!
Must have watched this video many times but only now got the Clickspring reference. 😂🤣😂🤣
This is a good idea. I will try it with alluminum, acrylic and thin strips of corean.
Nice work Wesley. Sometimes the most simple of designs can make steel work look most attractive. Glad you got that saw sorted!
Awesome work mate
Now that is a fitting mount for such a fine bit of blacksmithing! Nicely done!
Bumping the jetsons motor. Loved it. Great video
I learned the hardway about brass inlays and superglue.
Never did find that brass trim after it flew across the workshop.
Nice work! Keep it up. 😃👍
YAY sound effects again! I love that kind of stuff!
Now that's a man proud of his hook. It's good to show off sometimes.
Entertaining and informative. This is what UA-cam should be 😉
I Love your videos! So glad you got the table saw fixed!
Gidday welcome beck ... OMG .. LOVE it ! (and no I'm not an aussie - but that's how I start some of my own vids)
Fun visual effect when the camera is on the sled: looks like the blade is moving.
Cool saw trick there!
The subtle nod to deiresta was a good giggle, lovely work wesley.
Hmm, I missed that one since I don't watch Diresta much. I got the reference to Click Spring, though. 😀

So do I.
@@WesleyTreat Hey, if you're not making videos, I assume that just means you're busy making money. Nothin' wrong with that.
I'm thinking you might be rather proud of that hook! Nice work Hook and mount.
Diresta and click spring.
Brilliant.
Love the hook brother! Keep your awesome projects coming! I’m

I love it when makers own up to their screw ups... Makes us mortals feel so much better when we screw up too. 👍
Nice work
You've taken something that looks nice and made it look even more awesome.
Excellent video/project 👍
Every time he plays that weird "Jetsons" scifi sound for the table saw, I'm just shaking my head and smiling.....

0:33 is that a Wesley snipe catcher? 🤔
No, the IRS is a Wesley Snipe catcher ;O)
Awesome work! 😃👍🏻👊🏻
I wondered how you did the brass bits when you shared the photo of this build on you Instagram. Enjoyed the Jetson sound gag. Great job!
Very nice lookin piece
Okay, I have to ask.
Is that the Jetsons car or a Futurama sound effect?
Very cool. Your table saw sounds amazing, I gotta get one of those. Your hook looks much fancier than the one I made.
Informative and fun, brilliant.
okay ! I'm a fan now
Nice Clickspring nod at 4:52
really enjoy your channel, keep it up

That aluminum french cleat though! Why have I never seen these. I'm going to have to use these for my paintings
Yeah just found them on Amazon $12/20 pieces and less/piece for more!
Link in the video description. 👍
Great video. Super useful tips too. Love Starbond! Mahalo for sharing! : )

Thumbs up for the Clickspring reference. :D
I’m not sure if I think the brass and iron go well together.
Well... it does seem unmatched. If he had brass brushed the piece while smithing it would have matched.
Hi Wesley, love your videos a lot. How did you get started making signs and all the fantastic projects you make for others?
I saw the Nokia brick there at the end. Those were indestructible
"G'day, Wesley here, and welcome back to... wait... this isn't the Antikythera device."
Good to see you, WT!!
I think the flux capacitor on your table saw needs to see the doc.
Glad you finally got that Spacely Spocket replaced in the saw
Sounded more like a Cogswell cog. After all, they do have a higher failure rate.
Hahaha. The Diresta thing, priceless.
The gag with the table saw made the wifey and me lol!
Good video.
Yay! You rethunk it!
Oh good, you fixed saw.
Missed you!
very nice..
I remember snipe hunts. Good times.
sooooo long story short you made a wall hook to mount your wall hook to the wall?
The table saw is fixed!!!!!
No no it's not
I was hopping to see how to inlay, I don't think this is considered inlay. Let me know if I'm wrong I will keep looking for what I need. Can't very well cut my gun stock in half to put in a piece of brass or silver wire.

4:53 Clickspring callout!
6:22 Whah???
"Snipe Catcher", nice.
Nice Diresta sign
Here's what I did with it: ua-cam.com/video/3QGCLI-UFBA/v-deo.html
Nooooo o o o oh.....ahhhh….. Much better. *thumbs up*
I thought catching snipes involved a paper bag.....

Nice, a greeting from Jimmy D.
Hilarious Pask reference!
I wish I knew what Pask is so I could take credit. 👍

Pask Makes
@@chetleonard169 Ohh! I've heard of Pask. It was actually a Clickspring reference. 😃
A little 'starbond' in the cut off screw holes would have made it extra 'bonded'. A shame that the Jetson's car has been turned into your table saw.
Finally! A place to hang my Nokia 3310

I think everyone has one of those tubs
Welcome to the addiction. We have cookies
I feel cheated. This isn't inlay. Nice project anyway. I use steel screws to cut the threads where i plan to use brass screws.
Late comment. Thank you for NOT having music in your videos. I hate dealing with someone else's taste always very annoying. Want the talking and tool noises. I still want to find the Jetsons mp3 to take my DeWalt jobsite saw to the next level.
This is not inlay'd. It is essentially laminated wood and brass
🙄
The good news is that, now that you've gone back to that insufferable Jetson's sound effect, your videos are a lot shorter! I just fast forward through every clip.
more of a glue up than an inlay. . . .
I know, what a stupid video, am I right?
more of an outlay than an inlay

Table saw noise not funny anymore
Too bad you're outnumbered.
Highly entertaining AND educational. George Jetson would be proud.
That table saw sound effect is so goddamn annoying and not at all amusing!
Can’t make everybody happy, apparently. The Jetson’s sound is because people like you complained about the actual table saw noise.
Annoying, yes. A bit. But very funny
I like the Jetson music and find it very amusing!!! It puts me in a good mood, unlike your goddamn attitude!!!
