Been playing tuba ever since 6th grade and it's possibly the best thing in the world. It's come to a point now where you can look at a tuba and automatically infer that something's wrong with it. And the muscle memory of the notes comes in handy playing a hard piece

This proves what I always told my guitar students. Music is a toy. That's why we say we 'play' music. We don't work music, we don't beat our heads against music because it feels good when we stop, we play. Have fun with it.
I guarantee you that half of the audience had no clue what a Euphonium or a Baritone was, so it was just the Tuba parents scolding and overpowering their tiny tuba children who get more glory than them. The battle begins
I think the euphonium register is the best of the orchestra. Extrem tight in rhythmical aspect, very good im intonation and super technical skills! Do you play in somr other bands, ensembles or orchestras too? Thx
