    Great tutorial. No fancy graphics, no irritating background music, clear sound, not too fast, not too slow. Measured, balanced and precise delivery. You clearly know your stuff. Why can't all UA-cam vids be like this?

    Clifton...what a great ULTIMATE GUIDE this is. If those people running Kadence were smart, they would pay you to do a series of videos for them...there are no other tutorials that match yours.

    I have been learning WP for the last 4 months as I am planning to work on some blogs to share my life's learnings with the world. I am nearly 60 now, and not new or teaching to learning as I am a professional coach/trainer for the last 38 years or so. Computers have been my friends since 1984, which means I am not scared of them.
    I have seen scores and scores of tutorial videos, but you are the first teacher Mr. Clifton, who has made me understand things much-much better than many of them put together.
    You are the best in my eyes.
    Please keep up the great work you are doing.
    PS: I have also done some VO in advertisements over the years. And I love your voice.

    Thank you for an absolutely AWESOME tutorial! I am new to Kadence, and while attempting to use it, I found other videos did not explain it in such detail as you have. It was extremely easy to follow along with you step-by-step. While watching the video and seeing how well you presented yourself and the information, I subscribed! I'm looking forward to more videos that you have produced. Keep up the excellent teachings!

    Bro! Thank you again for covering KadenceWP. This is the ultimate guide for real! I think you should break it down into multiple bitesize (10 - 20 min) videos to gain even more viewership and help the UA-cam algorithm. You really covered the header and footer in detail and that needs to be highlighted. Thanks, again, for a very necessary and timely tutorial.

    Thank you for such a fantastic walk through! I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out certain bits and pieces in an ad hoc manner, but I needed to just sit down and get a good overall training like this. Yes, it's a long video, but I now feel like I understand important concepts and how things work together. You explained things conceptually and gave good examples, including important details, without getting into the weeds or being long-winded. I'm super excited to finish building out my blog now! HUGE thank you.

    After WP 5.9 & 6, and Gutenberg becoming ever more powerful, do we need Kadence Blocks Pro? As we have more and more block-based themes available, can inbuilt WP FSE and Gutenberg’s ever increasing functions do the job of Kadence Blocks/Theme Pro bundle?
    Btw, awesome tutorial Clifton! Happily subscribed!

    • @CliftonWP
      @CliftonWP  2 роки тому +2

      Thank you, Aladeen! I appreciate you watching and I appreciate the sub! You have a fantastic question. Yes with WP 5.9 and Gutenberg improving it is becoming more viable as a website builder, however it is nowhere near comparable in capability to the functionality of Kadence Blocks and the Kadence Theme. The customization capabilities of the default Gutenberg blocks are still quite limited and the variety of blocks in Kadence Blocks Free and Pro gives it an edge over the default Gutenberg. WP 5.9 is a massive improvement, however, there are still basic parts of it that are still in the works. Kadence WP allows you to do far more with what WordPress has created in Gutenberg and is currently far in the lead. 🙂

    Hi Clifton, I subscribe to alot of people who teach but you are patient and slow for an old granny like me LOL. I appreciate the time you take to really explain things as I have the aptitude, desire and a big WHY but I can't keep up with people who go so fast!! :) That being said I want to ask you this - I can't seem to get the copy and paste of the affiliate links right. I'm using free Kadence, and for instance I'm trying to populate a link from my hosting co - they say copy this code and it'll populate the image w the link. I can't make it work. I've had to copy and paste the image then put the hyperlink behind it, but if they change the code behind it then my image could be incorrect if it has a sale price or something on it. What am I missing? Maybe I don't understand how the embedded code works? Thank you!! Hoping you have a video for that :)

    • @CliftonWP

      Hi Granny D! Thank you very much! It sounds like you are talking about an embeddable affiliate link with an image. You can past this in your website using the HTML block. I'd be happy to hop on a quick Zoom call to get a better understanding of what you are trying to do if you are able. Just send me an email to clifton@cliftonwp.com and we can set something up!

They are very prompt, responsive and they resolve issues quickly, and have always provided regular updates on where they are with resolutions of issues.
