- From the VHS video "100 Not Out", recorded live at the West End Centre, Aldershot, UK in 1991 and released by Musikfolk in 1992.
Bows Of London (AKA The Wind And The Rain among other titles) is a traditional song, while Carthy's Match / The Lemon Tree are Swarbrick originals. The former written for Martin Carthy, the latter in memory of Trevor Lucas.
All these tracks can also be found, recorded at a different venue, on the duo's 1990 live album Life And Limb.
RIP Dave Swarbrick.
Swarb is such a rhythmic player, but with great delicacy too. One of my favorite musicians of all time.
Swarbs rocked it completely every time. Legend
We're losing our heroes, RIP Dave.
Swarbs is amazing....Great duo.
Two brilliant musicians

Back in the 90s there were cool late night folk radio stations. Heard this song on one of those programs...I think it was this actual live performance.
Two giants of English music.
RIP little sister
Saw them live in Birmingham around 1991. Absolutely tight yet loose at the same time - how does that even work? 😁
Saw them live at the Mucky Duck in Houston. Agree. Tight/loose. Shakespearian. At least to me.
