Thoughts on this potentially working better if the dumper split left and the half throwing a faceball to the link? I thought that would sell the short side quickie to the sniping link better.
@@touch.screen Nah pass to the same player but in front of the person dumping the ball. So the dumper splits left and the half picks up and takes a step or two forward to throw the cut out to the link in front of the dumper. I thought this could help to sell the link into sniping a bit better. I watched it back again though and the dumper does initially split to the left which appears to be enough to bait the link so maybe my way would just overcomplicate it and slow things down too much.
@@touch.screenMakes sense. Thanks for all the videos by the way. It's been huge for me making the transition from social to rep touch. Learnt plenty from your videos and have taken heaps of your content to the field. At some love to see a video about defending sweepers. I've got some ideas on it but it would be cool to see your take.
This is great. Most scoring plays require a mistake by the defence

Do you mean throwing the pass to the openside link rather than the short side?

@@CrashBandihoop you are just at risk of getting sniped by the winger. If you are deeper the winger has further to get to you and you get more time
