This problem can also affect SD cards. The fix for that is to search google and download a copy of the free SDFormatter.exe program. A bonus is that SDFormater can also fix problems with flash drives. I frequently use SDFormatter to restore SD cards and flash drives that I use for Raspberry Pi and various linux distros. It is easier to use than Windows storage manager. If SDFormatter doesn't work, you can always fall back to using storage manager. Storage manager, device manager, and other utilities can be opened by right-clicking "This PC" at the left of any opened directory. Select "Manage" and you'll find all the needed utilities.
There is also a free utility called "SD Memory Card Formatter." Do a google search. As their site suggests, "The SD Formatter was created specifically for memory cards using the SD/SDHC/SDXC standards. It is strongly recommended to use the SD Formatter instead of formatting utilities provided with operating systems that format various types of storage media. Using generic formatting utilities may result in less than optimal performance for your memory cards."

I've been searching my house for a usb drive for like a week now in my house because i know that i had one. I finally found it and it said 63 mb capacity. I thought i'd be fine when i found this video but turns out i legitimately have a 63mb usb drive. I have no idea why anyone would want that, but for some reason i have it lol. Guess i just gotta buy a new one.

nice!! but there are also some instances that you fixed the FD properly in your pc but when you plug the FD to other pc, the same problem. the cause of this problem is when you try to boot another OS in your FD or you used you FD as a boot drive, especially when you used linux OS or Pfsense.. my recommendation is use rufus and boot another os such as windows 10 or any windows os...but thanks for this demo. just my experience with this kind of problem..
